L'Auberge de l'Aeroport Inn

We loved that it was a good value for just sleeping. We needed to be near the airport and needed shuttle service. We got this so it was perfect for us.

We were travelling to Bali and had a lot of luggage to bring to an orphanage. It was very heavy and my co-traveller could not lift due to bruised ribs. The shuttle driver would not help me and I loaded all the luggage into and out of the van by myself. Another taxi driver told him to help me and he said I'm just the driver. I managed but it was difficult. For this reason I did not tip him.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Relatively quiet location close to the airport and the highway. Shuttle service was convenient and much appreciated, especially since the airport express bus doesn't stop nearby. Basic room and facilities met our needs. Not many food choices within walking distance. Price was the lowest I could find near the airport. Would stay here again.

Facilities and room were in working order, but have not been updated in years, if ever. Dim room had no ceiling light. Didn't find a thermostat, but the room wasn't too hot or stuffy in September.

I was so happy to be able to get a shuttle very late from the airport to the hotel, and then very early in the morning to catch my next flight. The staff were friendly. The hotel itself was also just what I needed. It is not fancy, but it was clean, not noisy, comfortable, with good wifi. I felt safe, too, which was a relief as I was traveling alone. Its proximity to the airport made it very convenient. As I was only staying between flights, I can't comment on its proximity to other sites. But for my needs, it was a good find.

This is really about my mistake--Not following the instructions the hotel gave me to call when I was ready to leave the airport, I called as I was exiting the plane. The driver arrived at the pick up spot before I was able to actually get to the exit, and had to return to the hotel and then come back. I'd just recommend that you make that call closer to the exit doors, to make it easier on everyone!

Quick pick up from the airport. Despite their shuttle van broke down on the day of our arrival, the hotel had made an arrangement to pick up using a car. The next day, the shuttle van to airport had resumed the service. I appreciated the effort of the staff to make morning call to remind the guests not to miss the morning shuttle to the airport. The guests at the room next door were making a lot of noise at midnight including chatting, shouting and singing. The staff working at night had tried his best to warn the unrespectful guests.

The location is only a 4 minute drive from the airport but you cannot hear the planes from the rooms so our sleep was undisturbed! At the airport you call the hotel for them to pick you up and they are there very quickly. The next morning we were taken back to the airport at the time we requested and were helped with our luggage.

The only improvement could have been the pillows and it might have been useful for us to be able to contact the hotel to ask for the shuttle using an app like WhatsApp as we do not have Canadian SIM cards therefore we couldn’t call from our phones and the airport public phones require coins, which we didn’t have, so we had to ask someone at the airport to lend us their phones.

It was close to the Airport. We used the hotel's shuttle twice. When we arrived at the airport we only waited 10 minutes at most following our call. On our return to the airport we booked a time for the return shuttle. Then decided on a different time. The receptionist was great and arranged a different time which suited us. Whilst the rooms and hotel are very dated and shabby, the bed was big and the room and bathroom were clean. A budget hotel in a good location for the airport for a one night stay.

There isn't anywhere to get anything to eat but there is a vending machine for cold drinks. I could hear the next door shower working but then I was awake at the time. My partner was asleep and it did not wake her.

The Auberge has a fantastic arrangement where you can leave your car at the hotel for a week for a nominal charge. We took full advantage of this - we stayed overnight at the beginning for an early morning flight, left our car for a week while we flew to Guadaloupe, then stayed a second night after a late return flight. Couldn't be happier with the arrangement! As a bonus, there is an excellent Italian restaurant 100 m away (Restaurant Bar Focaccio) where we had two absolutely delightful dinners before and after the trip.

The in-house restaurant went out of business over covid times, unfortunately. it would have been handy for breakfasts.

I loved that it is close to YUL airport and the shuttle driver was there to pick me up quickly. There is an excellent Italian restaurant just a short walk from the Inn. The one man staff was helpful with my bags and very pleasant. He also provided the shuttle service! I would stay here again because of the convenience.

The Inn is old and looks like a dated motel. However, the bed was comfortable and the room was fine.

They drove us the airport the next morning at 5am and even came to pick us up at airport when we came back from vacation to drop us at our car even if we didn't rent a room on our return. We waited less than 10min, it was very fast, I was really impressed and the staff was always kind and pleasant. The rooms seemed well quiet (insulated ?), I didn't get woken up by the planes flying over the building, nor the traffic or else. The mattresses were quite new and comfortable, that was my main worry and I was surprised, it was very comfortable, they know where to put the money first !

Dont expect coffee machine or quality tv. They should at least have a coffee machine at the lobby where we could buy a coffee... No fridge. couple plastic glasses, thats about it. It smells a little bit cigarette when you enter the lobby but no one smokes in there since years. Its old furniture but its also a small price to leave/park the car there the whole week and to fly out of the country stress free. They have cameras in the parking lot and they have someone checking them night and day. I would never do my holiday any other way anymore, and I cannot afford an extra 300$, this was perfect. No luxury, but stress free.

The driver who picked us up and dropped us off and gave us our room key was very kind despite the 1am hour of day. The room spelled fantastic , the bed was huge and mattress was exceptionally great! Loved the quietness and dark curtains to sleep in a little! Driver who took us back to airport was also very kind and happy.
