. The room and bathrooms where clean. The room reflected it's history as a convent but practical. The breakfast was very good as well. The grounds are spectacular and access to the nature reserve was an extra bonus. This place has very basic rooms with no television. However, there are plenty of lounges to hang out in with televisions. This place is a bit off the beaten track but worth the trip. The room price was very reasonable. Most of the rooms do not have bathrooms in the room. You need to specify which one you want.

In the booking information on Booking.com I did not see where it mentioned that the bathrooms were not in the rooms for my selection. That was a surprise upon my arrival. The road to the hotel is gated and there should be a sign saying press the call button which was not obvious in the dark when I arrived. Also the side door is locked at night which means you have to walk around the building to access the hotel.

The staff was fantastic. We appreciated the variety and convenience of the breakfast. The bistro was lovely, and we enjoyed the diversity of guests. The refuge was a treat, and we treasured the outdoor seating options.

You may want to pack bug spray and confirm if your room has an attached bathroom or not. We highly recommend shower sandals for communal bathrooms.

Brilliant getaway with lots to explore in and around the hotel compound. Recommend renting the bike for a day and explore even further.

perfect for nature getaway, had 1 free kayak ride, Loved the St Bernard trail. there's plenty of friendly animals around the area.. very friendly and helpful staff

hard to book a taxi when going to downtown Montreal... insects and mosquitoes at night, not recommended to go out for a walk when it gets dark, kitchenette not working on the 2nd floor

All the history it carries and the maintenance 👌w without speaking about the rooms. The site, the view and the atmosphere..., very pleasant and specialy peacefully ✨

The rooms, 🙏 no offense...tha walls need sound prouf. Having to get out the room in your nightys, to a public toilets and public showers..... wouldn't go back, just for that.

The location was superb, with the trails around the island, wildlife, the set up for picnics, truly beautiful! The views of the river, the apple orchards, the friendly staff, all combined to make a great stay!

I found the unisex bathrooms and showers a little unnerving, however, it is something we got used to after the initial try.

Family-friendly place on the island, stylish and clean, welcome presents upon arrival. Thank you for the late check-in possibility and the check-out time is also perfect.

All good, but keep in mind that bathroom facilities are shared and don't forget to bring bath accessories.

beautiful setting with lots of waterfront park around the building, lots of comfortable chairs and even swing chairs overlooking the water. Great kayaking opportunity.

no air conditioning so it was really good to have a room with our own bathroom, so that we could have two windows open and good air circulation. In cooler weather, the rooms without private bath would be fine because the shared bathrooms were empty all the time.

The breakfast was very satisfactory. I would have preferred some air conditioning in the room as the daily temperatures were very high and the room was quite warm at night. The cleanliness of the Manoir was exceptional and the staff were friendly and helpful.

See above regarding the room temperature. The ceiling fan helped a little but the room was too warm at night.
