location, food, drinks, breakfast, most of the staff. the maitre’d was super nice; he offered to help in case I had difficulty finding dog food. the female staff are super friendly and they made me and my dogs really comfortable . housekeeping were soo friendly and almost happy to help and braking with smiles .

the front desk is out of the way so there’s no connection and you can go in and out undetected . didn’t like that . the front desk person doesn’t smile , he hears you but is not friendly and is just not a good vibe. also finest follow up .

decor and hotel is stunning. excellent location, in the middle of a happening place. tours we did all picked up from 5 min walk away. staff were very friendly. restaurant was the best we went to in Cartagena, it’s well known in its own right

first 2 nights we spent in the room under the pool, the filter system was so loud and on from about 8am-7pm, they did turn it off temporarily when we called reception after it woke us up. we requested to move rooms and the second ones was excellent, no noise. I imagine this only impacts a couple of the rooms, and won’t affect you if you’re out all day.

The staff were so friendly, professional and helpful. Eliasib and Aroldo especially were welcoming and put my mind at ease as I first stayed a night with friends, then on my own in a country I hadn't been before but I trusted the staff. A gentleman, (I can't remember his name), understood my request to stay an hour more and was accommodating till I head to the airport. The ambience was relaxing and zen. They were kind to keep luggage before check in and after. Thank you. The catering/Restaurant staff were also so welcoming too. I will definitely make this my first hotel option each time I am in Colombia. ❤️

I wish there was a jacuzzi and sauna but I understand space is limited. Also wish they had tours, though I didn't ask.

He helped us with everything we needed from room situation, daily excursions, tour recommendations, even suggesting day trips! Made our stay that much more enjoyable. Prime central location to the walled city and getsemani; which allows safe/casual walking morning and night. Hotel is beautiful. 10/10. No complaints. Would come back again, no questions asked. My first time staying in the Getsemani neighbourhood. An up and coming area with now many boutique hotels, bars and restaurants. An alternative to the traditional old city, which was refreshing. The hotel has very nice decorations, and the service was second to none. Breakfast is a la carte but diverse and very Colombian,

There were a few things that are worth mentioning, and that we made the Hotel aware of. Water pressure and hot water were not ideal, we barely had hot water, which is not a requirement when the average temperature is 33 degrees, but a place like this should have that sorted. The other thing was one night from 2-3 am, there were works on the rooftop and pool located there, and it was very noisy. I had to go out of the room at 6:00 am to ask them to stop, which they did. In fairness, the hotel head of reservations talked to me and apologised, and they offered a gesture of good will. Regardless, something should not happen.

Decor

The only negative thing to note is that both my husband and I got horrendous food poisoning from the rooftop on our last day. I will assume it was from ice and not the food as it was delicious and I can’t imagine it was not properly Cooked or stored, but we both got extremely Ill which lasted for over a week. We only ate and drank on the roof that day so it’s undeniable that’s where it came from. I would recommend perhaps that they wash their salads or use filtered water for ice, which is where I am guessing the issue came from. Aside from that , this was the most beautifully unique hotel I have ever stayed at and would return.

The hotel is amazing. Food is incredible and the staff is extremely helpful, kind and polite all of the time. Pools at the top are a safe haven in the warm of the city (near 35 degrees) and location is great, in a beautiful neighbourhood and walking distance to Ciudad Murada. Worth every penny.

The room they put us in was right next to the restaurant's kitchen, which smelt great, but had a lot of noise until late at night and starting very early in the morning. But it felt like all the other rooms were also very close. Rooms also don't have any windows, which is a bit weird, despite being beautifully designed and decorated.

Staff were amazing and very accommodating. Every meal at the restaurant exceeded expectations. I arrived on the wrong date, with a non cancellation and no change reservation. Staff worked with me to find a solution that worked for us both. Great customer service!

Roof terrace pool was well organised and laid out well. Would have been nice if music was a bit quieter, especially when I was the only one there.

THe staff is so nice and they helped us book restaurants and the tour of Rosario island. very kind and helpful.

The only not very positive point was the breakfast on the second day. We waited 1,5 h for some eggs and never received what was supposed to be included. No explanation or anything else. Maybe they had a problem in the kitchen, but in a five stars hotel, I expect another service level.

Front desk staff were extremely helpful with recommendations and setting up activities. Fabian and Wilmer deserve extra praise for going above and beyond the call of duty. Rooftop bar and pool were very romantic and clean. No Americans other than me. Necesitas hablar español

Because the hotel is attached to a nice restaurant, when the restaurant closed at the end of the evening, the noise from the cleanup (dishwashing, furniture moving etc) reached our room until late in the evening. Would be nice if the noise level could be moderated more.
