Horizont Resort

The location is great, you are surrounded by sea and beautiful views and within easy access to Pula centre (bus 2a or 3a). The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant Tamaris had very good choice of food at very reasonable prices (pizzas 8-11 euros, large cappucino or scoop of ice cream 2euros etc.), friendly staff, fast service and beautiful views from the terrace. The resort was almost empty during our stay (first week of May) so it was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing break. The apartments are maybe a bit dated, but perfectly functional and Ok for 2* resort and very good value for money when comparing to other accommodation available nearby. The swimming pool was spacious and again had a lovely location with stunning views.

There was no children's playground. The building where the breakfast was served looked a bit run down with the ground floor in need of refurbishment/closed (but the first floor opened for breakfast looked Ok).

The Beach is a couple of minutes away, that was very convenient. We liked the resort and the old castle, even do it needs maintenance. The pool was nice and the walking area around the resort. There where plenty of towels and bed sheets. There is a parking in the resort and you can get close to the apartments. The apartment was spacious, and we spent most of time on the balcony.

The kitchen in the room is a mess, it desperately needs maintenance, its falling apart. Luckily we had our own electric grill (that is a recommendation to bring to this resort), The room was ok cleaned but we had to do a bit of cleaning ourselves, we had a baby that is crawling so a deeper clean was needed. Bug nets would be great to have. In the evening there was loud music nearby so we had to close the windows. The TV is an old plasma TV that has the worst video quality possible, its almost unwatchable.

Close to the sea. Beautiful beaches with clean and clear blue water. Nice, helpfull staff in the reception. When we got help to switch apartment from the park (no AC, old, smelly) we had a great stay att the Splendid area with sea view and a few meters from the pool. Wi-Fi was great.

It could be a very different stay depending where you stay in the resort. Not all rooms are good. The area in the park with no ac are terrible in my opinion and other rooms near the pool with sea view is perfect.

The breakfast was really good and great variety of choices. The sea was really close and clean. The pool area was great and clean too. In the evening there was life music at the pool which gave a nice vibe. Staff was nice and helpful.

The Stowe was not working properly. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Everything is frozen at the restaurants or almost everything: pizza, fish.

We have been here for the fourth time. The place is not new, but situated very nicely, rocky beach along seaside and small pebbles beach in a bay. Houses with 4 to 6 flats in some wood. Easy parking, great access to the sea, not a crowded place. Many alternatives to access the sea and bring gear like paddleboard, small boat or the like. Really affordable. Nice staff.

I´ve missed the possibility of a half-pension like it was at our last stay - the restaurant at the pool was o.k., but expensive and no much choice for food... the half-pension was the reason why we chosse it again ... therefore we are not satisfied... the breakfast price of 12 euro ist much too high ...

Beautiful beaches, connected with paths along the sea front. Peaceful and relaxing. Swimming pool was great with sea water. Right next to swimming pool steps are going down to easy sea entry. Staff was great, super friendly and helpful. Would love to go back.

Location, swimming pool, views. Ability to go for long walks, cycle and swim or chill out on number of benches along the walking path protected by pine trees from sunshine when it gets hot.

I stayed in Horizont Resort 23 years ago with my parents and that was the main reason I decided to return. It is an amazing place,brilliant value for money,staff very friendly,breathtaking location and view,easy access to the beach and Pula sightseeing😉Our apartment was clean,spacious,balcony huge and with a lovely seaview⛱️Free parking,great swimming pool,plenty of paths for walking or jogging👏Nothing was too much trouble for the staff,few small maintanance issues were fixed immediately🙂I would highly recommend Horizont Resort and I will definitely be back!This place is worth every penny❤️Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay👍👍👍
