good place near beach (it's like 5 minute walk, maybe less) good breakfasts and dinners for reasonable price you have pool (if you need it) and a lot of seats where you can sit during hot nights and have a beer or something they are cleaning your room really everyday, which is nice

room could be slightly bigger, but it was summer season, so probably ok for that price A/C was not powerfull enough in such hot weather when there was like 28°C even in night "caffé bar" next to pool will not make coffee for you which is slightly weird when it's named literally "caffé bar" zombie apocalypse during dinners becuase of German pensioners

I liked that the hotel was very close to the beach (Gortanova uvala), and that I could walk along the sea shore and choose other beaches as well. Supermarket Zdenac and pharmacy was very close too. Moreover, during the night I had a good sleep, everything was so calm, the hotel is in tranquil street surrounded with pine trees. Not to forget, stuff is very kind and helpful, from reception and handyman to cleaning ladies. I enjoyed it very much and I would certainly come back again.

It is an old hotel, but everything else is really great. I totally disagree with people that wrote the food wasnt good to be honest in my opinion this food is better then in many 4* or even 5* hotels. It has a domestic touch meaning its like home made food. Our baby son loved it and so did we. The pool bar pizza, pasta or fish was great too. Tasty coffee. The staff super friendly, we felt like home after few days staying here.

It is ans old hotel but its clean.

We stayed as a family of 6 adults and occupied 3 rooms with balconies. Our room was number 97 on the 1st floor, it had a typical good size and layout, enough space for bags and belongins, and there was everything necessary provided. The thing about being on the 1st floor is that cleaning was done in the morning, while we were at breakfast, and staff were discreat and very efficient. Our other friends/family stayed on the 3rd floor, and their cleaning was in the early afternoon. Hotel is quite big, and as many mentioned here before, some areas felt a bit dated, but generally very clean, light and well run. It's rather comfortable and convenient, but not for a luxury seekers. Hotel was very busy with visitors, some if them with children, although it did not reflect on the quality of our stay. Reception staff were very busy all the time, but they addressed few of our requests very efficiently and satisfactory. There is also a currency exchange desk next to the reception, should you need it. Swimming pool remained busy most of the time. It is shallow, hence great for kids. Most of our swimming/suntanning time we spent on the beach nearby, and it was as good as almost everywhere in Croatia (it's our 4th holiday here). Dinner in the restaurant was of good quality, tasty food with enough choice for everyone, and the highlight were free wines (I must say as an experienced traveller, they were of a very good quality) and beer provided at the dinner time! Evening entertainment, live music and singer was great, we had a fun time dancing on the terrace and watching others having fun. And the last not least is of course to mention - location! You are basically facing and smelling the pine groove from your balcony! And no mosquitos.... 😉 For taxi for 6 of us from the town center to the hotel we payed 90 kunas, which is approx 12 euros.

Some people had their doggies in their rooms, and we heard a dog barking, though not too much or long enough to complain.

The room itself was satisfying but the hotel needs a reconstruction. There could be more information about evening events as there is life music twice a week but you only find it out when you go to the pool bar in the evening.

There was no fridge in the room.

Clean place. Around 20 minutes from the center. Stayed one night. A lot of parking in front of it. The view was on the park. Breakfast is fair enough.

The flush in the toilet doesnt work properly. A lot of kids and teenagers so a bit loud sometimes.

This hotel feels like a comfy home away from home. The staff was amazing, and the food was seriously delicious. They serve up breakfast and dinner with a homemade feel, not like your typical hotel food. And, let me tell you, their macaroni bolognese was out of this world!

I liked the spacious room and balcony. I also appreciated an easy acces to both- swimming pool and beach, to large park and to coastal road with wonderful views. Not to forget good breakfast.

Breakfast great as well as dinner. Location in a pine forest along the coast. Calm with the sound of the waves.

We liked breakfast, and dinners, kindness of staff. Especially receptionist Andreja was helpful with tips what to do, where to go, basically assisted us at all times when was there. Other staff from maintanace to cleaning and over the phone lovely Karolina was awesome. I personally liked runs in the woods, allowing us to keep our pet at the room, and vicinity of all important sites at the city. Highly recommend for location, staff professionalism, and cozy feeling

Really nothing could spoil our stay at this rustical old fashioned hotel. Highly recommended for any traveler seeking rest, comfort, and good times.
