Park Plaza Verudela Pula

The location is in a natural area, with beautiful views and facilities to enjoy the sea. My kids enjoiyed to jump from the clifts to the water and the kayak trips. Although the Park Plaza is not well located to see the sunset, a short 5' walk within the same complex allow you the enjoy the extraordinary sunsets on the sea. The pool area is nice and the restaurants at hotel were excellent [both the Pool Side and the Main in the Olive Garden]The food was tasty, the menu was well defined, and the meals abudant. There are shops with everything you need at the complex, including a supermarket and a farmacy. Finally the service is good, all the personnel speak many languages Croatian, German, Italian, English,...

The room was pritty small, and the kitchen space is narrow and unconfortable to use, almost no room to prepare the meal. The cleaning service for the appartment was just ok and nobody cleaned the hall of the building during our stay.

With ample parking, after you check-in your bags are taken to your apartment by golf buggy and carried up the stairs. We had a 2 bedroom apartment in block O. It has 2 bathrooms (essential for 2 teens) and a twin and a double bedroom. There was also a double bed set up in the lounge. The kitchenette was adequate and I liked that the fridge had a freezer section. The apartment was clean and the beds comfy. Housekeeping came most days. We had our dog with us, so housekeeping couldn’t come in if we’d gone off for the day. (fair enough) There is a small supermarket onsite (with fresh baked bread daily) and a cafe and two fabulous restaurants (good priced fare) and an option for an amazing broad choice of breakfast buffet for €9 pp. There are plenty of sunloungers by the pools and the beach was clean. Take beach shoes as it’s pebbly. We went early in the season so it was probably at 30% occupancy (first week of June) but by all accounts it gets VERY busy in high season and so tables have to be booked and queues for sun loungers etc. The most exceptional thing we’re the staff. Amazingly friendly, multi lingual, happy to help, smiley staff. Absolutely first class.

No organic choice at the supermarket. (My son is strictly organic vegan)

You can easily stay in this hotel and not have to leave the resort. I don't think booking.com makes it clear just how big this resort is, all of the neighbouring hotels are a stones throw - and this was the cheapest option for my trip by a mile within this resort. All of the restaurants were brilliant, and plenty of bars to choose from too. There is a supermarket, barbers, clothes shop on site so you really wouldn't have to leave if you didn't want to. Staff were all very friendly, pool area fantastic and you can take your own food/drinks by the pool too.

I don't understand the point in having a sofa bed as opposed to a normal double bed, would probably be a squeeze with two full sized adults but did the trick for just me. I did think the stay was on the pricey side, however it was still the cheapest option within this resort.

The apartment was clean and tidy, for 2x adults and 1x 6 yr old a 1 bedroom apartment would have been suffice The pools were amazing, the view spectacular and the staff at the reception and restaurants and shops were super nice. Bus stop was close by, the Aquarium was right there and very good visit Plenty of places to eat and visit

The laundry service was expensive, about 2 euro per tshirt. For a family who was staying there for 10 days with a messy kid, this would have been a very expensive exercise to get all of our washing done. Did a backpackers wash I stead Even an onsite laundry would have been handy but the closest one was in Pula Town itself Our shower drain blocked up but the staff got that fixed very quickly No elevators for a 3 story building, was tough on the oldies and for those bringing luggage up and down to go up and down stairs a few times a day

We stayed here for the second time. We like the pool area, the beach is nice, although so late in the season no more sunbeds on the beach. The restaurant next to the pool is great. The studio was decent size, just the bathroom was a bit small. Had a relatively big terrace.

The room had spiderwebs in the night stand and many in the shower. There was daily cleaning, but didn't clean them. We prepared breakfast in the kitchenette, but were missing small cutting knives, smaller bowls for granola (or salad) and a teapot.

We prepared the meal ourselves. The location of the hotel is ideal right on the seashore. Fantastic beach.

The room was poorly cleaned. There were cobwebs everywhere and dust and hair from the previous occupants on the floor. During the entire stay, only the bathroom was cleaned and the towels and bed linen were changed. However, the floor of the room was not cleaned for a single day, because dust and hair continued to be thrown, especially behind the bed in the corner by the window.

An excellent location being close to a dedicated but not private beach. The apartments are well appointed but the sofa beds are not that comfortable to sleep on. Get down to beach at 0745 to be ready to reserve your (double) sun bed and umbrella for €22 including 2 drinks. Kayak and paddle board hire/tours available at beach too. Also orca scuba diving is very close. Note that there is no longer a large buffet style restaurant on site which reduces your options. There is a smaller a la carte smaller restaurant. But we either ate in or ate at the excellent Da Bruno Restaurant Pizza and Grill. We had a celebration meal at Bonaca Restaurant which was excellent but has prices to match.

The sofa bed was not that comfortable for 2 large teenagers to sleep on.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach is on 2 min walking distance (or even less :D ), there is supermarket on the territory, so you can buy almost anything (groceries, alcohol, snacks). The room was cleaned everyday. If you want to go to the city and you are without your own car, you have to order taxi(we used Uber). The city is also very beautiful, the highlight is Pula Arena, Ancient Roman amphitheater. The whole resort is very good for relaxed vacation, suitable for couples, group of friends or even families with small children. So overall, we've spent very pleasant and relaxing time there.

-Lovely, amazing personell who were very friendly and helped us get a different apartment when there was a problem with our bathroom and also we're helpful when we had trouble with our car. - Great location and park facilities. Multiple restaurants and some shops. Nice swimming pool with view over the sea. -The breakfast buffet you could book additionally had many options of food, very big. - Housecleaning came every day to change towels and garbage bags if needed.

Hygiene in the appartment wasn't amazing. - Our shower floor was 100% straight so the water didn't flow to the drain so the whole bathroom flooded. We were offered a different room after complaining and having 2 people looking at it understanding the problem. - Also there were holes in the door posts and corners of the walls of the appartment, it was all a bit old. So there were walking some ants on the floor of both the apartments we have been in, in the bathroom and living room. Fortunately not in the bedrooms... - Don't take the orange juice at the breakfast buffet, there were flies in there. The other juices from the machines turned out fine though.

A great location with multiple beach and sea access within minutes of walk. We had a two bedroom apartment which was of good size. The terrace was great too, but it came with the premium apartment, so did cost more than the standard ones. We did enjoy some of the animation (Pilates and other exercise classes) and appreciated having a little supermarket on site, which made it easy to get provisions.

The kitchen was very small and the stove did not always work, but there was a large fridge, which was useful. Also, when we arrived we took a taxi from the airport and he tried to charge us circa 70 euro for a 15 mins drive. It would have been great if the property mentioned an option to order a taxi through them in their pre arrival email (which had a lot of other details).
