Great hotel. Grounds very well manicured. Great rooms (and we’ve tried a few during our stay). Nice location right on the beach, yet not too far from the city or the harbour. Belle Epoque charm remains overall after the remodeling.

A heatedpool would be nice this time of year. Not clear if you end up with a room with balcony if you book a room with seaview.

Stunning hotel, beautiful pool area, fabulous roof terrace bar looking right out to the beach/sea. The staff were lovely and location wise, it was only a 15 minute walk to the Centre and 10 minutes to the Port. It was a 10 out of 10 from us!

Excellent location for beach, town, and museums. Staff was amazing in terms of adjusting to dietary requirements ( pool and room service), offering good suggestions for restaurants (concierge), gracious supplies of ice and smiles (bar and pool), perfect car service (concierge and the team at front who kept smiling despite the scorching heat!) discrete and efficient cleaning (Room services and throughout ), and a warm welcome and support (reception) .

Breakfast room can get noisy during peak times which is a shame as the location is great. It's a choice between a full sun and quiet breakfast or an air-conditioned one but a noisier.

Breakfast was perfect - plenty of choice for everyone - delicious fruits, different kinds of bread, cold meats, cheeses, nuts, fresh juices etc. The staff was very, very nice and friendly and always ready to help. No matter what preferences we had, they went out of their way to accommodate them. The atmosphere was gorgeous - the main lobby, as well as the terraces - the roof top bar, the pool, the terrace of the main restaurant. The food in the main restaurant was fantastic. We were impressed. I would recommend the hotel to everyone and would come back when I can.

There are only two recommendations I can make, namely: the temperature in the common areas is, in my opinion, a bit low. I know most American guests prefer cold temperatures, but for me and the group I was with, it was cold. And the second is the concierge services - I ordered flowers and a bottle of prosecco for my mom's birthday, which was the day after we arrived, and they delivered the surprise on the arrival date (a day before the birthday). In addition to that they charged it on my mom's room. Luckily I paid both rooms, so she didn't find out, but still...

A wonderful old grand hotel, across the road from the beach and a 15 minute walk into town. A lovely pool, we had a city view room (side of hotel) but you can still see the sea (i suspect we where upgraded but it wasnt mentioned). Good value for money even though expensive, a lovely experience and a top hotel. There is also a wonderful rooftop bar and terrace.

The pricing is quite odd. Cocktails and alchoholic drinks quite reasonable for a 5* hotel. But a coke by the pool 6 euro and a sandwhich at lunch 21 euro. We tended to eat out for lunch, some high end beach bars and lovely authentic spanish bars nearby.

Spectacular hotel! Very friendly/helpful staff in every function of the hotel. Rooms were exceptional—decor and detail was amazing. Breakfast was among best ever…worth the add on. Lobby and grounds are very picturesque. Easy/immediate access to beach; or outside pool area on grounds is nice alternative. Malaga Central area is 15-20 min walk.

Only minor complaint was drinks and food on the property (e.g. at pool, etc.), while good, were very, very pricey. Convenience may be worth a splurge or two…but, if you are on a budget, you can get very good options at a fraction with walk or short taxi.

A spacious luxury hotel just over the road for the beach. A nice rooftop bar. Very helpful staff. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is on a major road, so there is quite a lot of road noise

The warmest welcome imaginable, from the porters to the receptionists and servant, everyone is sooo incredible friendly and warm. I felt really welcomed. So cosy, comfortable, so clean. Everything perfect, even taxi was booked for me 4 am and was waiting. Clean 10/10, nice amenities, Bulgari shower gel..

The room was 400€ and didn't look as in the photos at all. I am not sure if they downgraded me into a lower catergory, it had no carpets or marble like in the photos and had no view either. The duvet I didn't like at all, very thin but heavy. Lightening can not be dimmed. No kettle in the room, have to call but was delivered within seconds

They do a nice welcome, the stuff is very friendly and caring. Location is excellent. The building is very nice. The food at the Príncipe de Asturias Restaurant was amazing.

The spa is quite small and they ask you pay 30 euro for one hour. The limit to use the spa is one hour. There is no quite a pool, as you cannot swim, its just a very big jacuzzi :). Hairdryer in the bathroom looks old and really needs to be replaced with a new one. The bathtub is narrow and very slippery, and the faucet is badly positioned, on one side of the bathtub, which can lead to injuries when getting out from the bathtub.

Location was wonderful overseeing the beach and close to many restaurants and places. service was excellent at all levels; staff in the front desk were very nice. Rooms were nice, comfy and clean. Breakfast was excellent with varieties of food. Staff at breakfast were wonderful and helpful; hotel is very beautiful with a touch of Al-Hambra Palace decoration, and nice flowery smell. The Hotel arranged for my daily trips to Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla with a private van, driver and guide that met my expectations.

The daily trips to Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla with a private van, driver and guide were a little over priced. The rooms are smaller than in the pictures.
