Seriously, I saw a couple of reviews and a warning about Kwong Toei - there are slums there - about 1.5 miles away, and I was a bit nervous..... ABSOLUTELY no need to be - security everywhere, the staff are fantastic and it has everything you need, it it quiet and away from the main road, very near to Terminal 21, BTS and the MTS and bus routes - a great place to stay, you can pick the crazy life or quiet life in a few metres - you're probably safer here than anywhere. It's about 500m from the main road, 800m from T21, and lots to choose from in-between. The bed was the best I've ever slept in, so much so, I've taken a picture of it (Sealy Posturepedic) and will be buying one when I get back to the UK!!! No cockroaches, which is actually a small miracle when you see Bangkok. It's Bangkok!!!! You need somewhere safe, clean, near all the transport links, with a gym, south west facing pool, and great staff that gives YOU the choice of what your Bangkok experience should be - our was great, thanks to Jasmine and the staff. Seriously I had no idea when booking and would definitely book again. Not given 5 stars purely on the basis that I play golf and don't believe in perfect. Accomodated us arriving early, free coffee so good.

Sat here with my wife racking our brains..... nope nothing - hang on, here you go, the coffee machine ran out of milk, and I had a black coffee before the milk was replenished (about 3 minutes)

Stayed twice within a week and we're upgraded to a suite. The suites are worth the extra money. Beautiful room with kitchenette and washing machine. Very well done room service with tasty, well made food. Staff were nice and very respectful, great example of gracious Thai service ethic. Very nice breakfast. Very nice balconies with view. stayed twice, First time we had a city view, the second time had a park view. Both views were great.

Little bit a hot walk in May to Sukhumvit Road and BTS/MTS

Before i describe the hotel facilities and rooms, i cannnot thank enough the receptionists who were tireless to help me out get my phone back that i've lost in a taxi. And i did get it back :) Amazing and helpful people. I'd recommend this hotel due to its location (center of Bangkok) served by metro and BTS and 20 mins walk from SIAM (main shopping center). But also due to the well equipped gym and reasonably big swimming pool consideroing its location. The rooms are also fantastic with an amazing view over downtown.

Finally a comfy bed to sleep on, the room was big and very clean and everything worked..

The photos that were on the booking. Com site looked a lot different in real life...and if we had of been informed that the place was under renovation when booked we may not have chosen here...pool was closed etc. But compared to where we are staying now...this one is top notch.

Remarkably tidy & comfortable with warm accommodating front desk staff, in-house dining staff, cleaning staff. Food selections for breakfast buffet were all fresh and tasty, nice variety. Beds very comfortable. Room well lighted and spacious. Great location near train station and orher shops & eating places on the main road. Situated in a quiet neighborhood beside an exceptionally relaxing park of flowers and other plants. Value for money. Will stay in this property again the next time we stay in Bangkok.

Very close to BTS Asouk station, subway station and Terminal 21 mall. Hotel provided free shuttle to the main road, Suhkumvit. we chose a balcony room . Room was large and balcony overlooked the lake of Benjakitti Park. Comfortable bed. It had a small dining room table and a kitchenette. Large refrigerator perfect for longer stays. Internet connection was good although we had problems when we first checked in. engineer came promptly to resolve issue. Bathroom had large full size bath tub. Lobby had free snacks (till 2 pm) and free coffee. Front desk personnel were very accommodating.

The room that we stayed in badly needed some maintenance and upgrades. There was a large water stain in the ceiling that I could not ignore when I looked up. Cabinets needed a good paint job to bring it back to its pristine white appearance. Hot water would run out and sometimes there was none in the mornings. It’s a beautiful and clean property but the main building needs upgrades and better maintenance. Although can’t complain as we got a good rate during the off season for a 4 star hotel.

It was a surprise to find out I couldn’t purchase a glass of wine! There was nothing in you marketing material to say you did not serve wine or beer I would have like to have known this up front

We've stayed here several times. The rooms are a bit dated, but the pool, breakfast, location are wonderful. It is quiet and very close access to the park nearby for some exercise.

There were two showers, thankfully... one was very moldy.

Breakfast was good , staff great , nice balcony for a smoke . Huge room & nice bathroom. We had a washing machine & full kitchen . It was a long walk to main road , they had a tuk tuk that ran constantly to take you up there . 8.5 overall .
