Comfort Inn - Pocono Mountains

The location was amazing and about 30-40 away from the places I wanted to visit. Lots of fast food and gas options. The King Suite was very spacious and relatively clean. The staff was super friendly and amazing. They served scrambled eggs and bacon everyday, had a little waffle station and the usual continental breakfast items.

Towels and toilet had unknown hair particles that was gross and I don’t think the sofas in the attached suite in the King Suite were cleaned for pet hair or in general as it looked dirty and discolored but we mostly used the attached suite for dinner at the small table for 2. The location although convenient meant it was right off the highway so the noise and street lights at night was pretty annoying.

The location was convenient that it was just off the highway. The complimentary breakfast was simple and delicious with many of the classic elements. I also appreciated the cleaning service for my room. I was able to confidently go to the front desk with my concerns, and they were taken care of that day while I was away, which allowed me to come back to a clean room.

My room at check in was not ideal. It smelled like cigarette smoke when we walked in and I asked for a non smoking room. When I entered the room, the doorknob of the front door went totally flaccid, as if it was broken. The next morning, I located the smell coming from the bathroom that looked like black mold on the ceiling in one corner of the shower. There was also a bag of garbage tied behind our window curtains and a wire panel about to fall off the wall. I went to the front desks with photos as proof of how we found the room. They were lovely about it and fixed most of it while we were gone. Thankfully, the smell was eliminated by the time we came back. The woman who I spoke to about it was lovely and said, "If no one tells us, we don't know to fix it." which I absolutely understand.

The entire staff was friendly. My original room had an issue which the front desk manager Khadejah went and inspected prior to me even leaving the check in area. She came back to the front desk and immediately issued me a new room. Later the second room ended up having issues and front desk manager Susan without prompting moved me to another room. Everyone at this hotel was kind, friendly, and easy to deal with. There was always fresh hot coffee at the reception area. Price of room was great!

The facility is showing it's age but without major expense this cannot be addressed. Microwave ovens were ancient. The hot tub was down for repairs. I will call back in a month to see if repairs were actually completed.

Breakfast was a nightmare . Other people that were staying there were animals. The girl who did the breakfast took over and made waffles one at a time. People were filling their bags with food. It was crazy. oooops this is what I did bot like. I did like the staff very much the hotel needs some upgrades.

I got a chance to see my niece who lives in White Haven, PA.

The heat in my room was less than desirable, at least for the first night. I turned up the heat, past 80, and it seemed to take a long time for the room to feel comfortable. I wore pajamas in bed the first night, but the second night it was okay. I turned the heat down to 75 and it was just right.

Room was nice, we wanted to be close to Split Rock which we were, the hotel was priced appropriately, and the extended check out was a good time for a good amount of extra charge.

band members for show we came to see were also at this hotel. Beds were very comfortable and staff was so friendly and at ease with guests.

no hot tub boo. breakfast choices great but toaster was only useful on one side of machine.

I’ve stayed here before and will likely stay again. Its in a pretty good location and everything is always clean and comfy.

The only thing I could say is a negative? my GPS had a heck of a time finding it. other than that, I have no complaints

The pool hours could be open a lot earlier than 10am. Our stay was wonderful but it was really hot outside and we could not use the pool since it had a late opening. Breakfast could be better. There was no option for hot breakfast but I can understand due to Covid. Other hotels have already started providing hot breakfast. Shower head was old and was about to fall off and was stuck in one setting which was caught between dripping and full flow so was pretty ineffective.

The motel was conveniently located in town not far from the campsite where my nephew, niece, their mother, and quite a few other people were staying for the Memorial Day weekend.

Nothing really. I have no complaints.
