I was checked into my room, although I arrived by 10pm. The hotel was clean, spacious rooms (for the same money in Copenhagen I was offered a room of 10 squares). I liked the facilities in the shower. In previous reviews everyone was frightened by train noise, so I took a room that faces the other side and all night we slept with the door open to the balcony and were not bothered by train noise at all. And most importantly, the location of the hotel is very cool. The train and metro station is across the street, no need to order a taxi to and from the airport. There are coffee shops nearby where you can have a nice breakfast. The main attractions are within 20 minutes walking distance. I would stay at this hotel again.

The room was only cleaned once in 4 days, it was a bit inconvenient. But I think if we had asked we would have had it cleaned, but we were very tired for that.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like but expectations need to be managed. Rooms are small and sparse. It was perfect for me as a solo traveler but if you are sharing a room it could get crowded. Also, the train noise did not bother me and it wasn’t that frequent- but know that it is there. Note that I gave a near perfect score. Also, do go for the breakfast. I didn’t originally as I was confused when the site said they didn’t have a kitchen. The food was good and there were vegetarian options.

Excellent location as it gave us access to central Copenhagen in 15 min walk and to the Parken stadium where we had booked to see a concert also in 15 min walk. Train from the airport arrives at Osterport station, literally opposite the hotel. Great value for money. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Communal areas were a nice touch. Bar area was nice to have and relatively affordable compared to downtown Copenhagen prices. No issues with train noise - we had a room at the back of the hotel.

No aircon - rooms and communal areas were quite stuffy. We kept the fan on at night which kept the room comfortable.

Location is fabulous Staff is super helpful and amazing Hotel is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay And again, location is absolutely amazing ! Can’t ask for a better located hotel. The bus stop is right opposite the hotel. Railway station and metro also right opposite the hotel. Can’t be any more convenient, can it ?!?! I read a few comments that the railway tracks are next to the hotel. But since the trains don’t honk the noise is quite limited. The hotel provides ear plugs so light sleepers are use them or book a room in the wing that’s a bit away from the tracks. If you are going to be out most of the day staying in a place that’s super convenient to public transport would be a priority for me and given the cleanliness, courteous staff and convent location I would recommend this hotel to everyone hands down.

Location was very good. Very close to metro and train station. Few shops nearby. Electric cattle in the room. Nice beds. Helpful staff. We were checked in before official hotel check-in hours, immediately after our arrival, as we informed the staff that we come earlier, and therefore our room was already prepared. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the hotel after check out. The room was quiet (we were on the other side from the railroad).

Paper cups, no spoons or plates. No overhead light. Not enough shelves in the room and bathroom.

The accommodation was exactly what we needed for a weekend trip. The room was big enough and clean. The hotel has a sitting room area on each floor with very nice posters and photos on the wall, which gave it a very homelike feel. Even though it was right next to the railway and our window faced the railway, it didn´t disturb our sleep at all (when the window was closed). The hotel is an easy walking distance from Kastellet or Nyhavn and right next to a train station (direct trains to the airport) and metro station which is very convenient. We had a very good buffet breakfast there as well. I can only recommend this place.

Perfect location - we did several trips outside Copenhagen and we do not imagine a better location for that. Great that they made a feature of the trains. We were on the railway side and found the sound of trains quite pleasant. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again.

While the breakfast was delicious, unfortunately the replenishment of cutlery and food was slow and quite often we found ourselves having to ask for missing items.

The location was perfect, next to the harbour area and other attractions. Nice seating areas. Noise of the trains was okay with the windows closed. Ear plugs were provided.

No air conditioning. Or mechanical ventilation so it seemed. A small table top ventilator was provided. It was quite warm outside but not too hot. However, when we entered the room it was hot and had an unpleasant smell. With the window open we managed to drive out the smell, but the room stayed quite hot (the hallway was way cooler than our room). This isn’t convenient when you have to keep the windows closed because of the trains. We were in the last room of the immense long corridor. So it was quite a walk inside the hotel.

The hotel was very clean and modern with a unique aesthetic. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room ready upon arrival so were able to enjoy an early check-in. Location was excellent as the hotel was opposite Østerport station and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. A convenience store was right by the hotel too. The common areas were very relaxing and it was fun to observe the trains going by every so often. Luggage storage was super useful. Our request to extend check-out by an hour was also granted. Lovely staff throughout the hotel.

The room was quite dark as there weren't many lights. Being located on the lower ground floor meant that the view from our window was the back of a building. No slippers provided and very limited wardrobe space. Few channels were available on the tv too.

The ease of transfer from the rail network to the hotel was important due to a long day of travel. Brilliant connections to the centre of Copenhagen and straight across the road from Oesterport Station suited us fine. Check-in was quick and efficient with very friendly staff. The room was large and well kept. Very clean and considering it is next to a very busy train station it isn't very noisy. To be honest after a couple of hours the train noise becomes like white noise. You just don't notice it. The bathroom was spacious with all the amenities you would expect. The bed was nice and comfy with a reasonable pillow also. We didn't sample breakfast choosing to grab food ob the go while out and about. This did look like a reasonable offering though no hot buffet from our observations. Looked like meats, pastries, fruits and coffee. There is a nice bar and large drinks fridge in reception which I believe is open 24hrs. This is a nice touch if found thirsty in the night. The location is absolutely fantastic. Everything in and around the area is within easy walking distance. It was only a 15 minute walk to the "Little Mermaid" and about the same the other way to Nayhavn and all the palaces, castles, churches and restaurants anyone could ever wish to see. We truly enjoyed our visit to both Copenhagen and the Hotel Osterport. I'm sure we will visit both again in the future.

There were only 2 real negatives with our visit. One was the lack of surface space in the bathroom. Nowhere you could really set out your toiletries. The other would have to be the small flights of stairs you have to negotiate to get to your room. Normally not a problem but fully loaded with luggage they were a not needed hassle. The fact there was no fridge was a shame though didn't effect us greatly.
