Loved the balcony. Extremely comfortable beds. All the amenities in the room like, coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer. Room was really clean, didn't feel like I had to wear my shoes while inside.

Wasn't crazy about being on the first floor, but I didn't specify that when I booked the room. I will next time. Nothing wrong with it, it's just a personal preference. We (two) stayed for a week and had to go to front desk and ask for coffee every day. Would only give 2 packs. Batterie in TV remote were dead and there were none at the front desk. Clerk took some out of another remote. Wasn't sure they would work for long.

I did not go to the dining area for the breakfast, but i do like that it is offered. Our room was clean and smelled very fresh. However, there was 3 of us staying and we did not have enough towels and wash cloths for all of us. If I had been staying longer I would have mention that to the staff. i am sure that would have been taken care of. Luckily I had extra with me in the vehicle for when we travel with children so problem solved. Maybe an update on the bed comforters. my granddaughter ask why you used the curtains for blankets. lol. but all in all I would stay again b/c it was a clean environment for my family.

the balcony could have been a little cleaner. I realize it is a balcony and it is outside; but the chairs could have been cleaned since this is beginning to be warm weather and you want to maybe enjoy the day on the balcony. Not a big deal this stay b/c it was very windy and cool.

The hotel was nice and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly, and attentive when we arrived that night. My elderly Mom wanted coffee the next morning, but the in-room coffeemaker was not emptied it had coffee grimes in the filter. We went downstairs to the front desk, but breakfast was over. The Front desk Supervisor from night shift saw that mom was distressed and gave her the coffee that was still brewing from the breakfast period. My Mom was satisfied, and I expressed my appreciation. The front desk team was awesome and made our visit an excellent one!

That the in-room coffee maker was not emptied and cleaned.

The location was great, Cherokee is a beautiful town and the hotel fits in nicely. We also loved the pool and the hot tub which we used extensively until it closed at about 11 pm. Room was spacious and had a fridge. For breakfast, walk across the street to Peter's Pancakes and Waffles. Fantastic diner! But since you are not the only person/group that is craving for a proper breakfast better reserve a table before you go.

We knew that breakfast was reduced "due to the pandemic" but when we saw it - o.j., coffee and muffins for takeway - it was disappointing. I mean, all other hotels were able to manage it so why can't Super 8 manage it properly? Simply cost saving measures. The A&C was really loud, it felt like a 747 lifting off. Staff seemed to be bored during check-in. They should be more enthusiastic to make you feel more welcomed. It seems like a management issue of the place. Without the fabulous swimming pool and the jacuzzi I had rated this place down!

I loved the size of the room and the balcony. The staff was nice and friendly.

I thought the room was described as overlooking the river but the river is actually across the street and behind another hotel so there is no view (but my memory of the description could be wrong). In any case, I did enjoy the balcony and the location was great.

The staff was informative, and helpful. The location was centrally located to trout fishing in the Qualla boundry lands.

It was stated on the website that this place had an american style breakfast, it did not have this, either the website needs updating, or it was a blatant lie.

I feel it shouldn’t be really called a breakfast but a snack, the only thing it is offer is a packaged muffin, orange juice and coffee. The wifi was not very stable. The carpet had a little bit of a funny smell

smoking outside when you’re trying to get in the building. i know it’s a no. smoking hotel so people gather right by the door. I’m highly allergic to cigarette smoke so i go into a coughing fit. make a designated place away from the front door. make it pet friendly please

the staff were awesome. there was confusion in the beginning of our booking and we the staff took extra measures to make sure they corrected the confusion.

For the price we paid honestly we got our moneys worth. The rooms are a little dated but it was clean and there was great care to make sure we were comfortable. I can’t complain about anything that we saw !

Great hotel. Very clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable.

I feel the price should have been adjusted to compensate for the minimal "breakfast." The site said breakfast was included in the price, but "breakfast" actually consisted of coffee, juice and muffins. I thought, at minimum, maybe bagels would be offered, or possibly cereal. I get the reason is the covid thing, but your site should specify what the current breakfast items would be. I would stay here again but will plan on another option for breakfast.
