The hotel is located right next to the terminal stop of one tram line. Thus it's quite easy to get to the city center within around 20 minutes. Although the tram has it's last stop here and is changing direction here through a noisy rail circle, during the nights its still quite as the windows keep out the noise and the tram is anyway only operating between 5 in the morning and around 11 in the evening. The shower was spacious and clean. The breakfast was also quite good and offers different things so one can always find something to eat for breakfast.

Parts of the hotel maybe have already passed their best times and could need some renovation but it's still fine considering the prices in Helsinki. With the rooms being not that big, it's good for a city visit.

Everything - The guys running this place are great. We had to leave early morning to catch a flight before official breakfast time. We were greated with a huge haul of lovely breakfast stuff and sandwiches the night before for our journey. We had an amazing meal that evening - Punjab curry, one spicy and one creamy, my daughter had an amazing steak with chips (loads of them 👌) Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel. It was quiet and we could sleep well. Breakfast is good. Room is not very big but fresh and clean. We have a free parking place, which is really nice. And train station is near by the hotel, fast to go city centre. Nice sauna and swimming pool. We didn't have time to use it, but I go to take look, and I would want to use, if we stay in this hotel next time.

You can use sauna and swimming pool only in the morning.

I had stayed four nights. Great location (two markets very close, easy transport to centrum and the airport), clean rooms and sheets, excellent breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, thank you all. There is a sauna and a swimming pool as well. Considering the price, it is a pretty good deal. Recommended +

The hotel shows it's age a bit, but they were renovating the lobby while I was there.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was superb. And we absolutely loved the little "garden" where we could have a beer and a smoke outside. Also, such a great staff, serviceminded and smiling.

We were fully aware of the location, it's quite a bit outside the city center. This isn't really a negative, since we already knew this when ordering.

Friendly staff. Nice bar. Good location, 8 min walk to Käpylä station then 6 min by train to Helsinki station. Shops close by (1 opposite larger 4 min walk). You can take also tram 1 to the city center 30 min or Eira area 35 min (great for outdoor activities)

Sauna: no towels. Very basic one pool. Both open only during breakfast 7-10 am. Resevation for evening private sauna 15 EUR/hour. This is Finland. Sauna should be free not within limited hours

Excellent breakfast. Quiet standard room- nothing special but pretty good for a couple of nights in Helsinki. Sauna is good, pool as well. Good connection to Helsinki downtown via Tram or Bus.

Sauna opening hours just in the early morning (evening hours would make more sense). Very limited parking space. Rooms / Bathrooms need refurbishment.

Breakfast was tasty and full of different options. The bed was very comfortable and the location was awesome, with the tram station just a few meters away.

When we arrived we had some difficulties with the check-in because I had previously canceled my booking (though the current one was confirmed on the app!). I didn't really understand what the matter was.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The sauna was very nice, didn't feel dry like the usual electric saunas. The swimming pool was also really nice. Room was comfortable and equipped with a cute little fridge - my daughter loved it. There was a supermarket right in front of the hotel - very useful, and a Koti pizza in less than 100m.

A nice, historical location, friendly staff and within easy access to center of Helsinki by tram or bus. Parking free and easy to find nearby. Rooms are clean and with a retro feel. We had a relaxing stay and greatly enjoyed it.
