Well, it is an amazing place! I did not expect that at all. Hostel is made in an old restaurant/bar but it was rearranged to facilitate the hotel type of rooms. Huge living area, kitchen - all well equiped. Toilets, showers, everything extremely clean. Whole interior have a great style of movies, glamour, Gucci etc. It even smell glamour 😉Super cool 🙂 parking available. Many cable socets to connect chargers etc. Location is in the city center, close to all shops. We got directions how to reach the place with photo where to park, where is the entrance and so on. Owner of the place very friendly, open to answer all your questions. Smiling all the time 🙂 absolutely fantastic and unique hostel.

I got detailed self-check-in instructions along with clear pictures and a video of the code workings. This made finding and entering the property really easy. The key was sadly not in the box, but i recieved prompt help. The room was nice, clean and secure, there was enough space even in other common spaces. Everything was styled to make the place feel as homey as possible. It worked wonders- my roommatea and i found the hostel's atmosphere to be supportive of social engagement. Though a single bathroom had two toilets side by side, that was an odd/interesting thing. A little bit on the pricier scale for a hostel night, but the location, styling, customer support, athmosphere and the experiences i got from just one night made it well worth the money for me. I would definetly come again if i stayed in the area.

Only the fact that i couldn't stay there for a longer period of time.

Kitchen was extremely well equipped with food and hot drinks. With breakfast food, hot cocoa, tea, and even some leftover items if you wanted to cook. Lots of cooking equipment, hot water and all were available. No dishwashing required to be done, as they use a dishwasher to save water. Shower was large, water pressure was strong and the water was hot. Very comfortable to use.

Living room was a little cluttered but it was alright! Still had enough space to sit around. Upper bunk beds were a bit shaky, could be a bit sturdier.

Checkin in and out was very easily done! There was a code box outside for the main key. The whole stay was self serving. So, even after booking a room later in the evening, it was still possible to get there the same day! Also very fast response by the owners. Via a whatsapp message we got an explanatory message including some pictures of the building and inside, where to find things. You were expected to take of your shoes (for obvious snow reasons). Therefore the place was also very clean. Simply every room some helpful items to borrow were placed. E.g., Some warm boots with socks for outside, coffee & hot chocolate powder, oatmeal/porridge, toothpaste & shampoo, cotton pads & ear pickers, even some pads and tampons (which saved our day so big thanks to the thoughtful owner!). Even though we never saw the owner or any other guest the bedsheets were still smelling freshly washed. The whole place looked kitch-vintage and was greatly decorated, making it very cozy. Large sitting bench and television were available. Kitchen provided lots of utensils. There was a bathroom (with walk-in shower) and a separate toilet-bathroom (actually had two toilets next to eachother in it, which gave us a good laugh!).

We were the only ones at the time, but we noticed that the ceiling of the bedroom, containing some bridging-wooden planks, is actually connected to the other bedroom and living area (as if it were one larger area where they put up separation walls, and for the ceiling effect put wooden planks across). This was however hardly noticeable, but could lead to noice disturbance if it were more crowded.

This hostel has a great vibe, it feels more like a wonderful shared house. During my stay I had the chance to meet incredible people thanks to the hostel. It is clean and pretty. The location is central and you can reach everything on foot. The rooms have everything you need for you stay and beds are comfy. The kitchen was really equipped, there was even free tea, coffee, oatmeal and a couple more things. I wonderful experience and I'll definitely be back here in my next trip to Rovaniemi. We had a very warm welcoming from Alissa when we arrived on the first day. She helped carried our luggages to the room in the underground when we were away - that was unexpected at all. Laundry, taxi ordering services were also provided. Outstanding hostel ! Shared facilities were maintained at a very high standard. We greatly enjoyed our time there, and would definitely recommend it to our friends and families.

Everything was perfect in Wherever.

The Wherever mini Hotel is a nice, a little unconventional but sympathetic place. As far as we know, there are three rooms for rent, two on the ground floor and the familysuite is in the basement. We stayed in the familysuite and it has nice rooms, and bathroom, comfortable beds and plenty of space on couches, and, if you want to, a seperate entrance. Big kitchen and coffee, tea and some ingredients for breakfast free to use. Very friendly staff.

What we did not anticipate, was that the familysuite does not have any windows, which is a little unusual and also impractical.

The host is a great person :) There's tea on the kitchen and the whole place looks very clean. Bathroom and shower were good quality, especially for a hostel. Location is midway between bus station and center, so it's good that you can walk between them. Wifi is good.

Well, staying in a 6 bed room is always something to think about when travelling, but for the prices in Rovaniemi this was quite a good catch.

I loved the hostel, was like a home away from home. Alisa was always kind n helpful. The northern lights tour guide Nikita was so passionate to show us the lights!! I like the big kitchen space n facilities, cleanliness and fabulous location. 5 mins from bus stop, shops and centre all walkable. There are buses available for Santa Claus village, airport, zoo etc.

The place has a great vibe. The owner has curated it on Vogue fashion and the little things give it a very homely feel. It doesn't feel like a Hotel. Alisa provided very helpful instructions, offered transfer taxi to the Hotel and the Aurora Borealis tour was out of the world! With a bit of luck, clear skies and timing, I got to see theost amazing dancing lights ! It was truly exceptional, the guide was excellent and took pictures of the group (3 in total). Moments to treasure. Will be back again in a heartbeat ! Thanks for great service.
