Great location 2 minutes walk from station and very convenient to attractions such as Reichstag. Permitted to check in 1 hour early. Bedroom was very spacious and clean, overlooking a train line and well soundproofed. Tea and coffee in room, replenished daily. One complimentary bottle of water for the stay. Fridge in room for storing our own extra water. Given the large size of the hotel it was quiet. Ideal hotel for a city break, if out sightseeing for the day.

Staff did not give information on what to see in Berlin. Bed was uncomfortable with only one pillow each. Problem with overflowing shower tray that flooded the bathroom floor. Reported to reception but was not resolved before we left.

The location near the Hauptbahnhof made getting around by train easy. It was also a short stroll across the river to the Bundestag area and the tourist sites there. The staff were very accommodating when I tested positive to COVID on the day we were supposed to leave, and made sure I could isolate in the room, which was helpful in a very stressful situation. It was also great to be able to open the window to let in fresh air.

The beds were too low, and did not have mattress protectors, so one was sleeping almost directly on the plastic covering of the mattress. This made it hard to regulate body temperature to have a restful night’s sleep.

The location is just walking distance from Berlin Central Station which is ideal and is a perfect location to start your trips and plans. Also, the Branderburg Gate and Reichstag Building can also be reached via foot from this hotel. Another best thing about this is that the hotel reception gives out free Berlin transportation tickets (ABC zones) for the entire duration of our stay which will definitely help and provide great savings.

The pillows and duvets can be improved since its not that of great quality and the bath towels are smaller compared to other hotels that I stayed. Also, the coffee tray (together with the cups, tea, heater, etc.) were sitting outside of our room near the door entrance when we checked in (around 5pm) which is very weird and not sanitary. On one of the days, we left a note inside the room to refill the body wash in the bathroom since it was empty in one of the days and the housekeeping should have checked those everyday to avoid the hassle. Lastly, the AC was not that cold enough even though we have set the lowest setting already.

The reception at check in was terrible. the front desk lady said that "you canceled the room". I never canceled the room. Then she said the rule is that after 8 pm without informing the hotel = the guest cancels the room. I said I haven't seen that rule on Booking.com. And after one minute, she said "your room is still available" But she have a higher price of about 30 euros. Then I argued. Shen she agreed, which a very superior attitude, granted us access to the room at Booking.com's price. Not smile, not sorry... Terrific reception !

The hotel is modern and has all amenities that you need when you're traveling. The bed is comfortable but pillows aren't the best one. The bathroom is big. The location it's very good since it's 1 min away from Hauptbahnhof. You can take U-bahn and S-bahn and go everywhere in Berlin. They gave me a free transport card for ABC zone which I appreciated a lot. There was a fridge and complimentary bottle of water in my room.

Cleaning could be better. There were some women hair in the bathroom. TV doesn't have a lot of channels. A lot of them only in German. The price it's a little bit expensive for this hotel.

Spacious and clean rooms. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast well stocked (especially the savory breakfast). Very friendly staff. Great location for sightseeing: with the central station you can get everywhere in no time and it is very useful in case you need something last minute (there are a thousand different services in the station all useful). Although we are talking about the central station, it is quite safe in the evening and in the summer there is also a small area with street food stands and live songs right on the side where you exit to go to the hotel. In addition, if you sign up for the H Rewards program you get a free card to use public transportation for the duration of your stay (including to the airport - covers ABC zones). We will definitely return there.

Very clean and comfy beds. Modern bathroom and room design. Wonderful location next to the central train station. Option for early check in can be offered for a fee (25 Euro) if there is availability.. Very helpful staff. İf you become a member of H- Rewards program ( hotel loyalty program) free transportation pass-cards given for the entire duration of your hotel stay.. if you book through booking.com , checkout time is noon (12.00).

TV is German only.. No in room treats other than a single bottle of one liter water for your entire stay, though that's not a big problem since you can put whatever you want into the small fridge in the room.

The staff is fantastic and very helpful. From the moment I checked in until I checked out they were very professional and friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The front desk recommended I upgrade to an inner room on the courtyard so that it wouldn’t be exposed to street traffic and train traffic. It was very quiet and I slept very well. The breakfast is very well done. There is so much food to choose from including fruits, cereals, bread, eggs, bacon, sausages, coffee, tea, all kinds of juices. All in all the intercity.Hauptbahnhof. Is an excellent value. If you sign up for the rewards program, you even get a travel card, which gives you access to all of the transportation in Berlin. The main station, which the hotel is named for, is right across the street. You get on one of those trains and you get to the airport in less than 40 minutes door the door. Fantastic.

Not sure why needing extra pillows will have to get yourself from the front desk meaning a physical trip down to front desk and sometimes with waiting in lines. Facial tissues requested but never received (asked both the housekeeper and front desk). Facial tissues seems to be a rare commodity given staying 3 nights at hotel (of course we used it all with the half filled tissues box upon checked in). Ended up having to buy my own box of tissues after two failed attempt to get tissues from housekeeper and front desk.
