Doubletree By Hilton Perth Waterfront

Wonderful location, comfy room & great breakfast. Close to lots of restaurants, the Island & transport as well as the harbour where river trips departed.

Our room was not serviced until after 4pm most days, which meant if we went back to the room late afternoon to relax & get ready for dinner we had to decline the service. When the room.was serviced the bed cover was just pulled over, not made up & often bins not emptied.

It was no payment until you arrive..this is the only way I book after COVID upset so many plans. We stayed at this hotel over Xmas as all your family had gone overseas for Xmas.The rating of the hotel is 4 star however we would rate it as a 5.the room was brilliant,Clean and spacious.Having recently been in Single and stayed at a 4 star hotel there was no comparison.The staff were friendly and very helpful.Only one minor let down was the breakfast..food was cold.However we would thoroughly recommend this hotel.Its right on the Swan River and right next to all the entertainment at Elizabeth Quay Perth

No..the decor in the Hotel was modern as it is a relative new hotel so everything very much up to date. Because we booked over the holiday period we were subject to 15% surcharge which mayed somethings like food and drinks expensive however that’s not the fault of the hotel

Nice facilities, great view from the room - the view was what made the stay most memorable

Our party of 7 people was split up on different floors - the key card which you had to tap in the lift didn't appear to allow you to travel to any floor apart from the one your room was on, which I understand from security purposes but which wasn't ideal for our circumstances. The lack of on site parking, which again I understand from a city centre perspective made unpacking and packing the car slightly problematic. Regarding breakfast, what was on offer was good but service was slow, in that plates were slow to be cleared etc.

Friendly staff. Great location and lovely river view from the main window. We missed breakfast so can't comment on that. Staff provided a bottle of wine as it was our wedding night - a nice touch. Warm cookie on late arrival (11.30pm) was a nice touch, too (apparently a standard in Hilton hotels!) Big, comfy bed. Big, comfy shower and toiletries were nice.

The ''panoramic'' river view was a little disappointing - it just involved a second, narrow window looking out to the bell tower (I had envisioned big windows all around). Only 2 small bottles of water in the mini bar - a little strange, we thought.

Very good choice of food for breakfast.

We requested 4 rooms close to each other as members of a family who are able to meet every few years. It was difficult to meet up in a room as we were spread over 3 floors. We had booked this accommodation in early April. The pool bar area was closed with Xmas parties so we couldn’t meet there either. There was quite a hold up on peak times in the breakfast area. It took a long time to be shown to a table. This is a 2 person job. A tap and go, loaded on to your card could alleviate this problem. Breakfast was included in our booking , but the duty manager was unable to find this information quickly. The 2 coffee machines weren’t always clean and functioning. There were issues with the supply of milk.

Staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Views are magnificent. Rooms very nice. No drinks to purchase in bar fridge did not bother us at all. Breakfast was fine. Not great but OK and I hate all the waste with huge buffet breakfasts. Roof top bar is very good - pumping with after workers not staying at a hotel on Friday night. Good service

Aircon was struggling on the sunny side of the building but is was exceptionally hot. n Didn't like the snacks at the rooftop bar.....needs more choice.

My third time staying here and first time for my mum. As always, I was very happy with the hospitality and comfort of our stay. My mum was very impressed as well and felt so relaxed. It is now my go to place to stay in Perth for any occasion. Love the location and staff. Such a classy, relaxed vibe and staff are always lovely.

The only downside was the lack of shade / umbrellas inside the pool area. It was so hot which made the ground unbearable to walk on. Also, would be great to have another way of stepping into the pool as the ladders aren't ideal for elderly people or people with back/knee problems. Still a wonderful pool and relaxed area.

Great breakfast choices , beautiful location, brilliant friendly staff (except one - see below) even when very busy! Special kudos to the manager in dining room ( on 22nd Dec ) named Sunnie 😊 ( Happy birthday Sunny from another 30th December baby)!!!❤️

On my first breakfast day ( 19th Dec) I arrived about 9.45am ( I was unaware that dining finished at 10.00 am - as no printed info in room) and was rushed along by an officious, slightly unfriendly male manager 😥 Hot food was cold and I only managed to get 1 cup of coffee before machines were being washed!! Sadly not a good vibe!

Very comfortable hotel, excellent front of house staff, in most respects another beautiful stay in a Doubletree hotel.

Parking - please provide better parking options for people with young children or babies, who cannot "catch an Uber' to solve the issue of no parking during big events. Go back and negotiate a better deal with the City of Perth, this is a huge oversight, or miscalculation, by Doubletree and COP. A family member with a baby cancelled their stay due to this issue. Small and large businesses are required to provide parking for their customers, why doesn't Doubletree? At the very least, provide a discount for the inconvenience caused by this.

I appreciated the hotel's commitment to environmental sustainability, which was evident in their approach to providing toiletries. Instead of the usual practice of placing these items in the room, guests were required to request them. While I support eco-friendly initiatives, I found this process a tad inconvenient. It would be beneficial for the hotel to streamline this system, making it easier for guests to request toiletries when needed. Perhaps an option to indicate preferences upon check-in or a simple way to request items via the room phone or a digital service would enhance the guest experience.
