The hotel and pool and staff etc were great

The poky bathroom and the exceptionally uncomfortable bath with sharp edges making it impossible to relax and soak. The bedsheets didn't fit the bed, so the sheets became ruffled and uncomfortable during sleep The games room machines took tokens without letting you play. The pool maintenance worker needs to up their game, he had hours before the pool opened to remove all the clumps of hair and debris in the pool, but often I was removing people's hair from my mouth. Gross. And watching staff walk past litter on the ground was unbearable so I ended up picking up lots of litter around pool area and in smoking area.

Oh my goodness!! What isn't to absolutely love not like!! This hotel is much more like an indoor resort the a regular hotel. The staff were incredibly professional, helpful, friendly & kind! I have stayed in hotels, most 5 or more star, all over the world and the service + amenities available at this hotel were equivalent if not better then even places like the Royal York or Crown Plaza !! We will absolutely be booking another stay with the Best Western Lamplighter very soon & I'm planning on booking a solo Mommy needs her sanity back vacation there soon too lol

Everything was perfect!!

Lots of things to do on sight. Pool, arcade. Restaurants. Vending machines. Great layout. Comfy beds. Spacious rooms. Lots of amenities in the room. Helpful staff.

My only complaint. The cleanliness of the room. It was clean, however we had a handicap room. In the bathroom along the floor there was rubber to contain water in the roll in shower and it was pretty gross with build up. The duvets also had no real covers. It's normal to not be in a full cover, but the top was so slippery that if hardly stayed. Left me feeling little comfort it was actually clean.

We had a large room with a king bed. Our room was located on the side of the corridor with an outside view (the rooms on the opposite side face onto the pool atrium). Our room was very quiet and we appreciated the blackout curtains. The food and the service at Shelly's restaurant were very good.

The king bed did not have a fitted sheet and the bottom sheet did not tuck in. We booked for 3 nights and added a 4th night one day later (all prepaid over 4 months early). There was an issue with checking in (the front desk clerk could not find the 4th night) and there was an issue with checking out (the front desk could not access the prepayment for the 4th night).

I liked the cleanliness. I liked the location for my purposes. For the most part, front desk clerks were quite friendly and efficient in my check in . The housekeeping staff I spoke to on my final morning was friendly.

I didnt like that at check in I was told because I was staying there for four nights that I had to book in advance for fresh towels or any housekeeping. I asked for extra towels one night and had to ask again the second night again. I think a little freshening up after the second night could be standard. I also didnt like that the side doors were open late into the night. I think there would be better security if everyone had to pass by the front desk. I also didnt appreciate the MAT added to my bill without being told this at check in

There were 12 of us. We treated our 2 sons and their families. We all had a fabulous time!!! It felt like we were in the tropics surrounded by lush gardens, the pool and waterfall. Everything was pristine clean. Harris and Justin at the front desk were so helpful with superior frindly service. Jill and Emma in Shelly's were fabulous as well when dealing with our large group for breakfast. Those 4 people made our stay. The food was great, the portions large and service superior in Shelly's. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to families of all ages.

Beautiful hotel and very comfortable. The pool and slide were fabulous even though it was rather crowded. Service was great and the restaurant was exceptional. The food was delicious and the staff were all so nice.

The hallways are rather cold, but that seems to be common in hotels. The toilet paper quality is very cheap and should be better than thin tissue. The pillows are also way to big, but that is a common problem at all hotels too.

staff (very friendly and helpful) pool (great size, clean, no chlorine smell, but it could be warmer) room (spacious, clean and not smelly) bed (very comfortable) My daughter and I liked the all day breakfast and the fact that the room service must be booked daily. I found it very convenient.

First the access to the lobby. I took a while to find it and then I took even longer to find my room. My daughter and I booked the hotel with breakfast included and it was a great deal. The food for the breakfast was delicious. But one night, we had dinner at the hotel because it was raining and it was pasta night. Unfortunately I did not like it. I choose Alfredo sauce and it was not close to be it (in the taste and the appearance). It was a bad night for me because I did not like it, I have a stomach issues and threw up.

disappointed around the slide not being open. i don’t understand why you wouldn’t have a life guard there anyways to keep your guests safe. there were kids poking the fish with sticks, running and jumping on other kids in the pool and jumping off the wooden posts in the pool. staff was told but nothing was followed up and behaviour continued until we just had to remove our kids from the pool for their safety. pay for life guards. your guests pay lots of money to stay there, they expect safety everywhere.

I enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, and the amount of pillows on the bed. The bed was comfortable. Hot water in the shower and the fridge was nice to have.

The air conditioning needs to be checked it definitely doesn't work right. The hair dryer wasn't staying on when used. The television channels certainly need an upgrade for the amount of money charged per night. Maybe even satellite with pay per view movie options as well. Not the 4 foreign channels we had and 1 you could actually watch!
