Everything! The experience was absolutely fabulous and everything was so stunning and true to photos. It's hard to take a bad photo as all of the design, both inside and out, is decadent and very modern. It has the feel and service of a 5-star hotel. The room service was delicious, the breakfast buffet was worth every penny and the pool was clean and a perfect temperature. I took a morning swim that was most invigorating and made it to breakfast by 8:30am. Everything was clean and up to par as far as no stains or anything on the fresh linens. The sofa bed was also very nice! The staff were all friendly, courteous and accommodating! Especially the young person with curly, short dark hair. I can't remember their name but they went above and beyond to help us with bellhop services.

The only complaint I have would be that the valet service was very slow. This is to be expected though since most places are short staffed post quarantine life. I would suggest calling for valet at least 20-25 mins in advance if you have somewhere to be. Otherwise, there is not much to complain about.

Property was in a great location downtown. Felt very safe and close to different events/venues I had planned during my stay. The rooftop and pool was a nice vibe. Loved the decor and string lights that hung making it inviting in the evening when the sun went down. Jany at the front desk was absolutely amazing. I had an issue with my credit card that delayed my check in process resulting in me calling my bank and having to go back and forth with them. She was extremely patient, kind and even offered a voucher to use the market for snacks while we waited. She gave us a great location for our room and ensured we had a great stay. Even during check-out she was a pleasure. What could have been a horrible start to my birthday weekend trip, Jany surely made it a pleasurable one. She’s one of your best assets to this property and should be properly recognized. Her customer service is exceedingly phenomenal. She went above and beyond and overall genuinely kind.

Valet parking was convenient and had in/out privileges however, at almost $50 per night was costly. Had to request the cleaners to clean out bathtub. It was very dirty and had a ring.

extremely slow food delivery from downstairs restaurant. food arrived cold and without in-room microwave we couldn’t warm it up. we contacted front desk to have meal removed from bill. we left the food outside our door and got pizza delivery from blocks away that arrived piping hot. the fact that an in-house restaurant couldn’t provide hot delivery using an elevator consider the high price is ridiculous.

the hotel was very clean and modern, it was much nicer than I expected! the staff was polite and checkout is a breeze, you just drop your card off and go. the parking garage across the street is also convenient.

the housekeeping comes by an hour and a half before checkout and in our case, she opened our door just because we didn’t hear nor respond to her knocking. luckily our top lock was placed. they also come knocking a few minutes before checkout… it was annoying feeling as if we were being rushed out.

older property has been completely remodeled but commands a high price when other newer hotels are better, conveniently located for the conference, conference began at 8am but didn’t allow early check in or offer to store luggage until checkin time, tried to charge me $30 extra for early check in, only after I asked to store luggage did they make the accommodation and then I checked in during a break in the conference that afternoon.

Very quiet and comfortable.

Both shower curtains needed to be changed. Reason is that the outside curtain had very noticeable black marks where you hold when closing the curtain. Also when I stepped in the shower and closed the curtain I found a washcloth laying over top of the shower curtains FROM the previous guest. The next morning I stopped at the front desk and asked them to clean the shower and ALSO CHANGE the shower curtains and gave the reason why. I discovered the next morning that didn't happen. They cleaned like normal and DID NOT CHANGE either curtain AND the washcloth was still there. With COVID those curtains should be changed after each guest. Otherwise the room was very nice and comfortable.

Loved the room, and the ease to get to and from the hotel, even with the Houston Rodeo on. The pool is a lovely option when the heat and humidity get to you.

Staff seemed constantly frazzled. Concierge at check-in was lovely, but the bar at night is a mess the staff left much to be desired, and it was generally disappointing.

Beautiful and elegant hotel with magnificent view of the city. Even the elevators ride to the upper floors are a show to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, having most of the required amenities. Definitely worth staying here.

Since the hotel is big and busy sometimes you had to wait a few to get some attention from the staff at the front desk. Not really a big issue. Didn't try the food as the in-hotel store closed at 10 PM and we felt like having a snack at 11 PM, out of luck in that department. Not really a biggie if you plan in advance.

Very accommodating, professional, and so friendly! We requested an early check in, as we arrived on a very early Chicago flight, via text messaging we were assured we could do at no additional costs! I received text messages prior to check in from Holly Davenport, welcoming us and asking if we need anything! Naomi Guzman, also corresponded with me! I was very impressed and am a seasoned traveler so critiquing is something I feel I’m honest and fair about! This was a great stay, lovely! Great location! Highly recommend. Will definitely stay at Hyatt Houston in the future! Kudos to all of you! 5+ stars!

The room on the 29th floor was very nice and the view was beautiful. The Lobbibar staff was very nice and hospitable. Good conversation and good drinks. The guest experience staff really made our anniversary special.

Breakfast on the last day was less than excellent. Our food (waffles and toast) was cold when it arrived to the table and one of the waitstaff stepped on my partners foot and couldn't understand to move.
