We were truly amazed by the hotel, which offered breathtaking views of the Matterhorn. The staff members were exceptionally courteous and friendly, contributing to an overall great experience during our trip.

Although the dinners could have been better, as the food was quite basic and lacked flavor according to our taste, we did have a mixed experience. Despite my wife's dietary restrictions (no red meat or chicken) which were communicated to the hotel beforehand, they were unable to accommodate her needs on the first night. However, the following two nights proved to be satisfactory in terms of meal options.

Position is fabulous ,the view is mesmerising ,the staff are friendly and efficient .Desk manager young man is brilliant.Jesse took us on a tour of the telescope in the dome and we saw the working of the observatory .Don’t miss seeing the stars with a man who can answer all questions relating to astronomy .Housekeepers are good at their job and made our two singles into a comfortable double bed

No character in the rooms .Very basic furniture . We sent three emails and told the restaurant crew about our requests but the Vegetarian food was poor .Breakfast was fine and one night we had a great salad .Luke warm soup ,cold milky ravioli so during the day we paid for good hot food downstairs in the restaurant open to the public .

Awesome location. Special thanks to Cristian and Ian that they were outstanding during our stay. We had a lovely experience dealing with them and made everything feel so special. Absolute troopers both of them, working nearly all day in a super busy environment during the day and yet find a smile while serving dinner for all hotel guests. Thank you guys for everything.

Feeling a bit the altitude but this has nothing to do with the Hotel. Just physics.

Like everyones' review, the VIEW will just "Shock" you. There is almost nobody in the area after the last train. Enjoy the astonishing view only by yourself. Make sure to wake up and check out the morning view before the 1st train arrives. Just AMAZING view... It is a bit pricy to stay this hotel but well worth the $. The rate includes dinner & breakfast.

Great location. Wonderful views. Staff brilliant. Food delicious. Rooms warm and cosy. We had a room facing the Matterhorn and was lucky enough also to have a clear night. Full Moon was in the sky above us, and we have many pictures of the Matterhorn with Constellations, such as Orion, in the sky above. Put simply "This is a fantastic place to visit and stay"!

No Teapot at breakfast or boiling water for tea (not hot enough out of the machine).

Super nice mountain view. The meals were awesome and the room and beds are very nice and comfortable. I think the doors block 99% of the noise (including the bathroom door; we had the fans on all the time but couldn't hear anything if the door is closed). We got up really early to see the stars and could faintly see milky way.

Nothing really. It's on the mountain so no as convenient but that's the whole point... A little expensive comparing to some other hotels but totally worth it.

Everything is perfect. It's even cheaper than Zermatt's Matterhorn view. Matterhorn is solely yours from your own room. Amazing view of sunrise of Matterhorn. Strongly recommend. Staff are so friendly, and they helped me when I suffered from altitude sickness.

Nothing. The only way to get the hotel is railway and it costs. Need to check the railway timetable before checking in.

We celebrated for our family member birthday during our stay at 3100 kulmhotel gornergrat. The restaurant server were very helpful, heartwarming. Also, the dinner and breakfast were so great with significant Mountain View. At dawn, you can see the amazing scenery of the Matterhorn. Definitely, highly recommend!!

You are up here for the views and boy would it be stunning (barring weather conditions)! The rooms are furnished with simple but comfortable furniture. We initially had concerns sleeping at high altitude but were fine.

Service could really be more generous and warm to accompany the amazing place. Wait staff gave us a doubtful look and questioned us twice if we are indeed guests at the hotel when we were checking out the dining room.

Wonderful and unique view from our room and a quite incredible place to be able to stay. Hotel staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous. Hotel and room very clean and well laid out. Breakfast was very good, dinner good too, though maybe slightly underwhelming.

Obviously it wasn't cheap and the train ride up cost a small fortune, but the hotel itself couldn't be faulted.
