Excellent staff, very helpful, good room with view Matterhorn. Also the breakfast was include with good choice.

Location is a bit far from city centre. short 20 min walk!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mountain Paradise and it was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. We stayed 6 nights at the hotel Mountain Paradise.From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the hotel’s prime location. The hotel is just about 5 minutes walk up from the Matterhorn Express cable car. The staff at Mountain Paradise deserve all the praise for making our stay exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable.A special thanks to David and Maria.. The hotel is also perfect for families and couples looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to local attractions. I suggest booking a balcony room with a Matterhorn view for an extra special experience.

First of all very helpful staff - with the later check-in and allowing me to leave things in a hotel, while skiing for a check-out day. Nice view on mountains from a restaurant. A bit aside of the center, but at the same time a quite location and close to Matterhorn Exprese cable car. Very clean. Nice room with a balcony. I liked a roof window in a bathroom. eBus stop is close to a hotel.

It's my personal, so not objective - I had a room at the highest floor with the sloping ceiling, so I couldn't properly do my joga exercises. So if you're about 2m tall, maybe consider a different room in this hotel.

David is an excellent host, the rooms are perfect, and we haven't even gotten into discussing the view of the Matterhorn from this hotel. It's insane. If you want to go to Zermatt and you don't mind a little bit of a walk (even though walking through Zermatt is part of the charm), the red line bus will still drop you off at the front door. Seriously, there really isn't a better place to stay, and breakfast is included..!!

Nothing..!! Besides, there's a fantastic, relatively easy hike from the hotel on a gravel path that runs parallel to the main street through the forest. David will point you in the right direction. It really is a nice walk and highly recommended.

We stayed here overnight in between mountain climbs. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and had a lovely view of the Matterhorn. The man at reception (sorry we didn't catch his name!) was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and it was a real pleasure to speak with him. We were permitted to store our bags at the hotel, while we were away for an overnight climb, which was very much appreciated. The location of the hotel is good (subject to the point below) - you are away from the hustle/bustle of central Zermatt but also close enough to walk there. You are also very close to the gondola.

Expensive but typical for Zermatt/Switzerland in general. Breakfast could have had more on offer given the price paid for the hotel and the croissants were sadly not fresh. The staff member overseeing breakfast seemed grumpy/very unfriendly. The hotel is located far from the train station so if you have a lot of luggage (like we did), you have to use the overpriced taxi services.

Stunning view over the Matterhorn from the dining area and rooms. Our room led to a huge terrace with the view of the Matterhorn. The room was big enough for 3 adults and 1 kid, with a sofa bed that had the great sleeping quality of a normal hotel bed. The staff was very helpful and nice. Went skiing straight from the hotel, 5min walking distance to the lift ! Nice buffet breakfast too.

You need the bus to get there if you've lots of luggage and kids, but it was easily accesible. They were not very flexible with the check-out time when travelling with a baby that needed to sleep in a little bit.

Breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from and the view of the Matterhorn from the breakfast area was jaw-droppingly gorgeous! The hotel staff was super helpful. David gave great recommendations, helped up book lunch reservations on the mountain, and even packed a breakfast for us when we had to check out before breakfast opened. The location of the hotel, a short walk from the Matterhorn Express gondola and right next to the red line bus stop, was perfect. Taxis are expensive but its a short walk (10 minutes) into town and the bus is free and runs every 15-20 minutes.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Mountain Paradise in Zermatt. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, and the staff, particularly David, was incredibly helpful and responsive. The self-check-in process made our late-night arrival hassle-free, and David even prepared breakfast for our very early checkout. The hotel's proximity to the Glacier Express cable car was a major plus.

It's a good idea to bring your dental kits and slippers. They haven’t provided us and we didn’t ask either.

The room is cozy and clean. The bathroom has natural lighting with towels and a hairdryer. The staff were super friendly, efficient, and helpful! We were amazed that the room had been cleaned after we went back from breakfast!!!!! 🥰 You can ask for a kettle to make some tea/hot water. The breakfast was great and simple with various varieties. The view from the breakfast area was spectacular! Love the location! Super close to the gondola and ski rental shop. The bus stop is nearby (2 mins walk away) The sauna facility is a plus after a great day on the slopes!
