We ended up staying in the Cardinal Suite (upgraded since they had a water leak that made staying in our booked room unbearable). The manager prioritized our experience and gave us quite a meaningful upgrade. The Cardinal Suite is HUGE, living room on one side with big dining table, outdoor area, huge bathroom with tub in middle, and cozy bedroom. I unfortunately had to take some work calls, which worked out very well because the living room is far from the bedroom. The room was just wow, the pictures really do not do it justice. We had breakfast in the room every day, they bring it up and set up the whole table. Location was really in the center (about 5 min walk to St Catherine main street).

The room had low ceilings, so I bumped my head a few times.

Fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. The staff was very attentive and provided great service and recommendations for restaurants. Prior to the trip, I had requested two all-day tours in wine country with lunch reservations. they selected great Chateaus to visit, reserved wonderful lunches and scheduled a private car and driver for both days. These tours were the highlight of our trip to Bordeaux. Breakfast was served in our suite every morning.

We had the largest suite on the top floor and it was spacious except for the bedroom which was modest in size with a queen bed. As the suite was converted attic space, there were a few places where one could bump their head if not being careful.

Excellent location in the centre of Bordeaux. Very helpful, friendly staff. Lovely touches such as hand made treats each evening and gifts of Clarins products and a toy for our grandson on departure. Great decor and comfortable beds . Fridge and stove and microwave and kitchen equipment an added extra and a help while traveling with a baby.

Our room was very dark - a privilege suite on the ground floor . Avoid this room if you have a choice . The bathroom was also tiny.

The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Quiet, loved having sitting area , bed super comfy . Also wonderful to be able to walk pretty much everywhere but also close to tram for those who may need that . Super helpful and delightful staff too. Would definitely recommend and stay again

should put a hand basin in the WC which is separate from the bathroom in the room we had

Incredible bed, powerful shower, products as well as the facilities - a kitchen area was a big bonus. staff were so friendly and professional and couldn’t have been more helpful. #1 hotel on trip advisor for a reason.

if I was being hyper picky the suite we stayed in was a bit dark but that was helpful for a long restful sleep! Genuinely couldn’t fault it.

Everything about this hotel was amazing, from the location to the staff to the room itself. We had a suite with a separate living area. Both rooms were quite small, but they were so well equipped and furnished and very comfortable . Staff were extremely helpful and always available. We would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful boutique hotel.

We decided last minute to stay in Bordeaux and found this boutique hotel. It is incredible. The rooms are clean and “haute classe”. The service was amazing-excellent recommendations for dinner or lunch, things to see and do in Bordeaux! Kind touches like a written note each day. Highly recommended.

we loved our suite, the location was amazing- so central, but above all we LOVED the service and the staff. can’t speak highly enough of the team. The restaurant recommendations were brilliant as was the day spa recommendation-one of the best massages I’ve ever had and the driver to the wineries was just fantastic. We would only stay here when next in Bordeaux. Thank you so much everyone.

A very comfortable boutique hotel located a few metres from the main Square. Easy walking distance to many sights, cafes, restaurants, and a major tram interchange. The rooms were very well equipped, comfortable and spacious. The staff were very helpful. Also - a rarity in France - excellent showers. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The hotel itself does not have its own bar/cafe - however this did not turn out to be inconvenient as there were so many within walking distance, and with our own kitchenette and table we could easily buy food and drink at nearby shops should we wish to consume in our own room. Room service was also available of course.

The location is great. The room has a unique lay out with the toilet on the opposite side of the room as the shower and there was no sink close to the bathroom to wash your hands. However the service was great and the staff was wonderful.

The room had a minimal slope/slant which some might not notice. I am sure that is room dependent but it didn't feel unsafe.
