Fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area, away from the noise of the city center. There are good restaurant choices nearby. The tram is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and one can easily reach the city center in 10 minutes. Our room was spotless, and the bed was SUPER comfortable. We kept asking ourselves, "Can we just take this bed with us?" A good night's sleep is of utmost importance. The parking garage is very safe, and the spaces are ample for even bigger vehicles. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

So much! The location is fabulous - walks along the river in both directions are lovely and the variety of restaurants locally is so easy and enjoyable. Plus being near some interesting sights. We love the rooftop bar for breakfast and an evening drink. All the staff just seem to want to make our stay enjoyable and cannot do enough to help with local guidance and information on places to visit. We have already stayed here before and it is our preferred hotel in Bordeaux whenever we visit.

We find the menu of the main restaurant on the ground floor is very dull and with not enough variety. So, although we always read it and would like to eat in it, we never do because it seems such a boring choice of food.

Reception staff were exceptional as were the staff in the Wellman restaurant and bar. The room was well appointed overlooking the river and was of a good size with good facilities. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was well stocked and the location of the restaurant and outside space was extremely good.

The roof top bar and terrace were disappointing. One member of staff was very rude. When we entered the bar we had to queue for a drink, once my friend got to the bar and asked if we could put the drinks on our room he said "...that if we didn't have cash we should go away and talk to someone else..." My friend did talk to someone else and eventually we got a drink. This took 25 minutes. We also went to reception and advised them of what happened. They were very concerned we had received such treatment. The reception, in compensation, said we could have breakfast the following morning free and ensured that when we ordered room service that evening that it was prompt. The waitress Gill who served us was a lovely and kind person.

Modern. Decent size bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast room experience. Outside access to viewing balcony. Peaceful environment. Quiet bedrooms ( no noise from adjoining rooms.)

Not the fault of the hotel but nightclub close by played very loud music through the night. It was during the bastille holiday time so perhaps the celebrations were extended? Fortunately the windows are heavily soundproofed which minimised the disturbance. The experience did not prevent sleeping.

A genuine, warm welcome on arrival, which was appreciated. The room was spacious with the most comfortable bed, and the views were wonderful. Easy access to the old town with the tram and direct access on foot to other amenities and events beside the hotel. The spa had a lovely thermal suite, and the rooftop bar had a nice chilled atmosphere. The breakfast was plentiful and was also served on the rooftop with great views of the surrounding area.

Would definitely stay here again when visiting Bordeaux.

Staff at reception in particular were excellent and really went out of their way to make us welcome and deal with all our queries. Location is good close to Citi de Vin and Bassin de Lumieres, close to bars and restaurants and an easy tram ride into the town centre. Room was a suite of good size with an excellent balcony terrace

Breakfast.....the food quality was good, but the breakfast staff were a bit disorganised often running out of bread, bowls, even coffee on 1 morning. A bit more organisation would make the breakfast experience much better

This is an excellent, modern hotel with all the necessary facilities located just outside the city centre, but a 7/8 min walk takes you to Tram B which brings you straight into the downtown area. It overlooks the water & there are lots of options for eating in the surrounding area, which seems to be the new up & coming part of Bordeaux. Some highlights of the hotel are: - The rooftop bar is lovely with some nice views. - The staff were extremely pleasant, helpful & well trained in their jobs. - The room was spotless & had plenty of USB ports as well as a fridge. - The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever found in a hotel. - Breakfast was very good but some variety of cereals would be nice. - The spa was lovely & I enjoyed a relaxing treatment. I also availed of the sauna, steam room & tropical showers which were clean & well maintained. - Lots of seating available at breakfast time & in the bar on the 5th floor. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you want somewhere reasonably priced which has easy access to the city & all the modern facilities that reflect a 4 star hotel.

Some minor improvements could be made to make this hotel perfect, for example; - When the room is cleaned, the soap is removed & not replaced, neither is the milk. - There are only 3 or 4 English speaking BBC channels on the tv which leaves you with very little that you can watch, so perhaps that could be added to. - The shower didn't have great water pressure.

Great room and comfy bed. Opposite the WW2 sub pens it is a good base for exploring Bordeaux. The terrace bar had good views and a wide choice of drinks. The restaurant was a big disappointment. The restaurant is not busy and the limited menu and quality of the dishes reflects this. Good except for the restaurant.

Super comfortable, quiet big rooms that did not feel cramped for two people. Very clean with everything you need. A little outside the city center but a great walk by the river or there is also a tram connection right next door. In fact, if you are okay to stay away from the city center, this is a better location.

The distance from the city center but only if you are in a hurry. Most of the times, it wasn’t a problem.

Modern decor, nicely appointed rooms. Excellent car parking facilities with EV Charging points. Good breakfast, Very convenient for the Sous Marine area and restaurants around the harbour.

Table in the room was broken when we arrived (was fixed when we reported it). Insufficient charging points in the room (hotel loaned us an extension cord so that we could charge a laptop on the table in the room)
