4pm checkin is too late, not standard and inconvenient.

We booked two rooms for a family of five. One of our rooms was the family room. It was small but the beds were all good size. The bunk beds were true twin beds and my kids enjoyed sleeping in them. The breakfast had a good mix of food and we ate there both mornings. We had dinner in one of the restaurants and it was yummy with good service. Location is right by the Aiguille du Midi gondola which is convenient. The lobby area is a fun place to hang out and they have free coffee 24/7.

This is very common in Switzerland but there was no a/c in the rooms and it was hot at night. We had to open the windows but then we heard the traffic while we slept. My kids couldn't enjoy the pool because they have an odd rule that it can only be used from 10-2.

Very nice and classy hotel, exceptional staff very friendly and attentive, rooms were very nice and clean, comfortable beds, nice spa, complimentary coffee in the lobby, location is superb.

Housekeeping would come in to clean relatively late in the afternoon, sometimes as late as 16:30 we would come back and find the room still was not made. Eating at the hotel restaurant one evening we found the food was not great, though the service was excellent. That's all I can think of really, otherwise it was perfect.

Hotel is nicely located next to the cable car station leading to Aiguille du Midi. Room 305 is nicely decorated and has a big balcony as it is located next to the stairs. Hotel has an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and spa. Free hot/cold beverages at the lobby were great. Extensive selection of breakfast was a true delight at the hotel's restaurant Akashon where beautifully cooked dishes can be enjoyed everyday during dinner service. Secured underground car park has direct access to guest rooms in one of the hotel wings. Otherwise, access is possible via the lobby.

Hotel had everything you needed for familes, all age kids and adults. Spa is blessing when you have skied for a half a day and sore and want to relax. All the steam rooms and pool area very well kept. They had crepes every afternoon and popcorn snakcs for kids. And no mention of the lollies bar and juce bar. Devine for kids when they are free for all. Had to watch mine so they dont eat many . Hotel is so close to the city centre,access to all the restaurants.Couldnt fault a thing. We had a fantastic time in Heliopic Hotel. Highly recommend

Everything... Location is ideal, straight off the main road and 100 metres from the lift up to Mont Blanc and a mountain view from nearly every room WOW..!!! Staff are so polite and helpful, even to limited French speaking visitors (like us..). Nothing is too much trouble and the lady at reception gave us so much help and advice on the area, cannot thank enough. Hotel is immaculate, everything works, top quality and you have just got to try the swimming pool and spa facilities.!! And.. free coffee and water in reception... NOTE.. PRE BOOK PARKING AT THE HOTEL WHEN YOU BOOK. There is limited parking and not much chance of getting any if you don't pre book, so make sure you arrange before coming. It's reasonable and below the hotel so well worth it. (Somebody didn't book while we were booking in at reception and however much the the receptionist tried there was no room to park.. he wasn't happy, but it says on the website to pre book..!!!) We will be back and will stay longer next time. Thanks.

The Hotel was very comfortable & Quiet. The breakfast was lovely, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Being able to help yourself / the kids to help themselves to hot choccies / sweeties and the area for the kids was really good. Also topping up your water bottles was a great idea! well done! The bar was very cosy and service was good. Reception were very informative which is rare nowadays! the Wifi was good. The closest actual ski lift was the Brevent lift which had a good amount of sun & lovely snow. The lift in the Heliopic bus to and from each ski lift each day was very good and at good times. The option to take the bus outside of the hotel arranged bus was well informed by the hotel on how to get back etc if you needed to go back earlier / stay later than the hotel bus. The aiguille du midi lift is not a ski lift but a viewing point. It was our first time Chamonix so we had a bit to learn! we only had a couple of days skiing so didnt get to see all of the area's but La Tour is absolutely Beautiful! This hotel is within a really lovely town with loads of bars, restaurants and plenty of shopping. The Spa was also really nice, one of the best ones I have used in a hotel and had a nice pool too.

The only thing - really small is there were no English breakfast tea bags (Earl Grey seems to be the big thing) but did have the tea leaves for english breakfast so was fine when we found it as the whole family love our Tea! Phew! Will bring our own Yorkshire tea bags when we return lol!

The location right beside the Aguille de Midi. The kids play area arcade machines. The water fountain, coffee machine. Sweet dispensers. Room was lovely. Kids loved their bunk bed.

The pool not being available to kids after 2pm was extremely frustrating and contradictory to the kid friendly atmosphere. It was quite limiting for us as they couldn’t go down after a long day. Parking not being available and also having to pay was frustrating. A note on the booking to say you need to book parking in advance would be very useful!

Centrally located within a few feet of the Chamonix gondolas; perfect standard room with nice bed/pillows with good water pressure in the shower; large lounge area with unlimited cappuccinos/tea/coffee/hot chocolate; good WIFI; heated indoor swimming pool, hot-tub and two steam rooms; parking is 10 Euros per night and they have a few EV charging spots (advance booking is recommended).

Nothing to mention but I found they have cold water showers before entering the pool area (some may like it).

The hotel is lovely it accommodates for every budget. It's perfect for the kids with the kids area / arcade machine that are free. Food and the bar is fantastic too. I 100% recommend this hotel.

I only have one gripe with the hotel. The pool time for the kids is really annoying. I don't understand why they don't do afternoon/evening sessions for the pool. The evenings and late afternoons the pool was never busy rarely a person in there. I think and would recommend them to look at this area. You can't be kid friendly when it suits you.
