Excellent option in Colmar, extremely well located. It's a very nice hotel, incredible breakfast. I'd recommend it to make it your base to visit not only Colmar but other small towns, castles, winerys and attractions in Alsace
The bed was a little bit small and not extremely comfotable. Our room was one floor up with no elevator, not a problem for us, but maybe for some, however the staff was very friendly and eager to help. Parking in the area is tricky, we were lucky to find and empty spot on the street with metered parking. Otherwise you need to pay for a more expensive parking.

The location was great. Very nice sized rooms. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bar was nice, the bar man was a nice man, very chatty and knowledgeable. The bathroom was huge and the jacuzzi bath was lovely. The staff seemed very nice too. The rooms were very warm and cosy. For it being an old building, the hotel was very clean.
There was no conditioner with the toiletries in the bathroom. There was no milk to go with the coffee machine. We were not told where anything was in the hotel, so we were unable to access the terrace like you can see in the pictures. The breakfast we did not try as on booking.com it was £10 each but at the hotel if you did not book it through booking.com it was £20 each! We did not have dinner at the hotel as there were no chicken options.

The location was perfect and easy to walk to all the attractions. The breakfast was great and the rooms were beautifully unique. This hotel had a little bar in the front with the coolest bartender who served us amazing drinks. He was awesome!!! Then the hotel has a phenomenal restaurant that I would highly recommend. The food was delicious. Rooms were very beautiful and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and this hotel might have been my favorite during our Euro trip.
I have no complaints. We really loved this hotel.

Fantastic location on the river in Little Venice. We opened our windows to watch the quiet parade of gondolas pass by. Very large room. The main hotel is charming. Fantastic champagne buffet breakfast. Did I mention location? 😊
We were unexpectedly in an annex building right next door. The entry and stairs to the second floor felt more industrial than charming. The apartment size was fantastic, but again not as charming as the main part of the hotel. This was the only hotel in our three weeks in France with staff who felt…a bit cold.

Hotel was beautiful, in a great location, staff were always very friendly, and the fresh breakfast was wonderful and reasonably priced.
My room was on the fourth floor. Elevator only goes to the 3rd floor, and then I needed to carry my bags up another set of stairs, down a long hall way and then up a spiral staircase to the attic. It was very tight and quite dangerous carrying bags up that flight of stairs. Additionally, I had dinner at the restaurant one night. The food was quite delicious. However the portions were very small and the everything was overpriced for quality and quantity.

Beautiful hotel & restaurant with a view. The breakfast is definitely worth the cost per day with a variety of food, juice, and coffee/tea options. Dinner was a bit pricey but worth the splurge for one night as all courses of the meal were fabulous! Trying the different local wines that the staff suggested for each course was worth every Euro! Very helpful and attentive staff. The room was quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. Although a small sized room, it didn't feel cramped or claustrophobic. Loved having the in-room espresso machine. Close proximity to the cute shops, bars, restaurants, and sites of Petite Venise. 15 min walk to train station but staff will arrange for taxi if you prefer to not make the walk with all your luggage (as there are limited taxis & no ride share options available).
The stairs were a bit windy & steep. Preferred to take the small elevator and then go up short amount of stairs to the room. May be a personal opinion because I am not a fan of spiral staircases. Also, the layout of the rooms vs. stairs could get confusing, and I found myself turned around the few times I did take the stairs.

Loved the hotel. It was traditional, rustic and simply beautiful. It was exactly what I was looking for. The location is great. The service is impeccable from the time you check-in to check-out. Natalie at the reception was amazing. She greeted me with lot of enthusiasm and with warmth. My room wasn’t ready but she tried to get it done soon and kept the luggage while I went for a stroll. She upgraded me to a double bedroom with a view of the canal. That just made my stay awesome. The room was beautiful. The old artwork and decorations were worth admiring. Natalie gave me recommendation for restaurants and they all were top notch. She offered to make reservations. The hotel had all the amenities. I loved the breakfast in the cute dining area with view of the canal. It was quite a huge spread and everything was delicious. Natalie and rest of the staff made this a memorable stay for me. I am coming back again for sure.

Located just on the canal of "little Venice" of Cormar. Convenient for walking around the old town. Stayed in the triple room under the rooftop. Size is sufficient although sleep in the extra single bed is a little tight under the ceiling. Have to carry up the luggage but there is a small lift and the staff kindly gave hands.
Highly reputed restaurant, which we only had breakfast (very nice environment!). Please be careful that the restaurant is not open on Tuesday and Wedenesday for dinner. In general, it is a little challenging to find a nice dining in Cormar during high season. Parking is a little away from the premise. Eventually, my Audi A6 did not fit in the parking. However, public car park is available within 10 minutes walk and is infact cheaper than that chraged by hotel.

This was my second time at Le Maréchal and I must say it was an amazing stay. The location is great. The hotel looked spectacular with all the new year decorations. The staff were really hospitable. We stayed in the same room we had in our prior stay. The room #60 has great views of the river. Just loved everything about the hotel. You must experience the breakfast. It’s a delight. If we come back to Colmar we will stay here again. Missed seeing Natalie this time. Thank you team Le Marechal for making our stay memorable.

Amazing Christmas vibe, definitely the star of the town with the decorations day and night. A very cute, authentic property. The location is amazing, right in the middle of Christmas markets and all the festivities. They provide covered parking, although it’s 10-15 walking distance from the hotel.
Although parking is provided, keep in mind you have to walk with all your belongings from there. Theres no assistance with luggage whatsoever. On the same note rooms, hallways and stairs are extremely small, it gives it the charm, but very difficult with the luggage. The only assistance we got is from the lady at the reception. would be nice if hotel save some space for dinner at the restaurant for their guests.
