The location, in the Tanneurs district, was perfect - right in the middle of everything we wanted to see, but only a leisurely 15-minute stroll from the railway station. It was then 5-10 minutes amble to Little Venice and not much more, in the opposite direction, to the Unterlinden Museum & Tourist Information office. The room was compact but very comfortable & clean and benefitted from what approved to be very few balconies. Ours overlooked the junction of Grand Rue & Rue de l'Eglise, so great for people watching. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty with a great selection of breads, cereal, fruit, ham, cheese & sweet pastries.

Drinks-making facilities (if only a kettle & a couple of mugs) in the room.

The location is amazing, right in the centre of Colmar Old Town. All places of interest are within walking distance. The hotel is pretty and quiet. There is a parking place within 4 minutes walking.

Breakfast is a bit limited.

This is a quaint hotel situated in the old part of Colmar. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable with a pleasant view over the rooftops of the old town. Plenty of hot water.

My room was at.the top of the building served by a small elevator and a.winding staircase. On entering my room, there was another narrow staircase leading to the room. I suspect that for anyone with mobility issues or in anyway unsteady on their feet this might be problematic. As the room was in the attic, it had a sloping roof. This resulted in there not being a stand-up shower, just a bath with a hand shower which was not a problem for a short stay. The air-con unit was a floor based unit and was very loud. I don't think it would be possible to sleep with it operating as the unit was very noisy. As with all such hotels, fire escape options are limited to the narrow staircase which is a concern especially if one is on the top floor.

We stayed in this hotel for one night only. Location is great, right in the heart of Colmar. Room was spacious and well-equipped. We arrived in the afternoon to a very hot room despite AC (France was experiencing record breaking heat) but during the night AC was effective and it was comfortable to sleep. Front desk staff were very helpful.

This is not necessarily a negative point about the hotel, just an FYI: hotel is located in the central pedestrian area so you can pull up to leave your luggage, the closet you can get to hotel is about 2 blocks away. A parking is about 15 min walk away and cost €3 for 24 hours, very reasonable!

The location of this hotel is simply fantastic for exploring the old town of Colmar. The building and its common areas are charming and very well-maintained. Our room was facing the back and was very quiet, the bed was comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a solid selection but I'd recommend arriving on the earlier side as the breakfast room is not very big. We were travelling by car and while the hotel does not have their own parking facilities, there are great secure parking options very close by - we ended up parking just a 4-minute walk away from the hotel.

There were a few scrapes on the walls of the room so it could do with a repaint - but that was really a minor issue. Loved our stay otherwise.

We stayed in a double room (No. 102) from 13-15 March. The room was facing the street with a great view and very quiet. It was a good size with a fridge. The bathroom was spacious and well laid out. The breakfast was a cold buffet in a quaint room. The hotel is very old with lots of interesting history attached to it, so quite quirky. The hotel is in an excellent location to walk all over Colmar old town including Little Venice and the main shopping street and only a 10-minute walk from the train station. Lots of places to eat/drink right on your doorstep so we did not need a car. The staff were all really excellent and friendly and made recommendations and were very helpful. You can borrow an umbrella if it rains. I would highly recommend this hotel to other guests.

Nothing - everything was great.

Location of hotel is excellent as it is right in the middle of the scenic old town in Colmar and everything you want to see is nearby. Bed is large and comfortable with power sockets at the bedside. There are heater racks for towels and clothes in the bathroom.

The WiFi network speed leaves much to be desired. Price is quite steep but I booked during the weekend of Easter Sunday which might play a part. There is a deep apple scent in the room which I did not mind but my friend found it strange.

Ease of booking and checking in. Great location in the centre of Colmar. A beautiful building, giving a real sense of history. Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable lodgings. Fresh breakfast. Loved the room overlooking the street.

Decor a little dated. Large aircon machine in the room if needed but large hose would need to go out of an opened window so defeats the object. Limited breakfast choice and too cramped a room for the number of guests that were there.

Brilliant location in a historic building right in the centre of Colmar. We were lucky enough to score a room with a balcony. Breakfast was fabulous, staff were really lovely. Colmar itself is a really interesting historic town. Don't miss the museum and the local wine tastings. There were lots of tourists, but the town is so lovely it's completely understandable that so many people want to see this beautifully maintained and restored medieval town.
