To our surprise, the hotel was only just opened (2 weeks prior our arrival) after a 6 month renovation of the whole hotel. The rooms were designed in a warm modern manner, soft colors, everything was new, the beds, towels supplies, what was there to complain about...nothing. It was all new, clean and beautiful. The lobby had ample tables and comfortable chairs in which to read or have breakfast indoors or out in the patio. The hotel was within walking distance of all the tourist sites but on a quiet street. Our room faced the street and we heard no noises at night. Staff were professional and friendly, clearly happy to work in the new Building. We will definitely return.

We only have one suggestion. The shower bath tub combination, which had wonderful water pressure, often made the window area wet. If some way that ledge could be angled downward, the water wouldn't collect there.

We didn't have breakfast but would recommend you indulge if you want to get out and about early because most of the cafes around the hotel don't open until 1000. The hotel location was absolutely superb! The staff were kind and helpful and truly cared about our stay being comfortable. The staff spoke perfect English, which was helpful for us. The room was very comfortable and clean. The best part, the room was air conditioned and we were able to keep the room as chilly as we wanted unlike most hotels in Europe. The hotel is situated right at the beginning of "Little Venice" and we were able to park our car and forget about it! The parking situation could be better, make sure you reserve a spot when you get your room. There are a lot of pay-for-parking spaces on the street of the hotel, grab the first one you come to, it won't be too long of a walk. The parking is relatively cheap and from 1900 to 0900 it is free and you can also park for free on Sunday. Download the EasyPark app (or something similar) and you will be able to park easily and pay no matte where you are when your time runs out. We would recommend this hotel highly! We plan to go back soon.

The only issue we had was the hot water at our sink would not come on unless the shower was running. We told the staff about it upon check-out and we felt like they would address the issue.

Clean, spacious room on the top floor with a good view. Decent breakfast with plenty of food options ( we were up very early so had a good choice) Wonderful location of hotel.

This room was not good value when compared to other rooms we stayed in during this trip ( they were also located in beautiful towns/cities ). At breakfast-time, no hot drinks were served: they had to be obtained from a machine. Breakfast was served in a small lobby area which was rather bland. Bed was too firm. Bath/shower awkward to get in and out. Only French channels available on TV. Parking was an extra cost and was in a garage , very tight on space.

The central location in the old town was great and everything was within a short walking distance such as shops restaurants museums. Staff were helpful and hotel was spotless. The sauna was a great extra and perfect for the cooler time of year we arrived. Would stay here again next tine we are in Colmar

The only difficulty we had was discovering there is a 'complicated taxi service' in Colmar which just meant we had to walk to the train station which isn't too far but with bags etc would have been nice to get a cab. Perhaps book a taxi in advance with reception might be useful

The hotelfacilities were excellent, a bit diminished by the ongoing works in the reception area, the alternative check in location and the alternative entrance. The breakfast was very good

Breakfast was in a termporary room without daylight, the choice was excellent but the environment was a bit somber. But since building works were ongoing, perfectly understandable. I regret somewhat we were not informed about the building works before booking, after booking the correct information was given

Really lovely hotel. Provided the prices stay reasonable, we would definitely stay here again. Everything about the hotel is very well thought out. Our room was very well laid out. A separate landing when you walk in that separates the bedroom from the bathroom area. Very nice for additional privacy. Bathrooms were great as well. Hot water, good pressure, and a nice enough tub that you could take a bath if you wanted to. Vin Chaud available when you walk in and a nice sauna, which feels great in the winter months.

Beds are a little firm, but that is a matter of personal preference. Heaters in the room but we never felt the heater was capable of blowing warm air. Seemed like no matter how you adjusted it, the air was blowing out at about 20 degrees celsius. We like it cold when sleeping so didnt bother us too much but may bother some people.

Couldn't ask for a better location - right at the enterance to the old town and less than a minute's walk to Petit Venise. The room was of a decent size (I was upgraded to a deluxe double) and was clean and comfortable with good amenities. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. I found it a great choice as a solo traveller and will book here again if/when I'm back in Colmar.

Can't fault the place

We stayed in a separate building on the other side of the street. Rooms were clean and very recently renovated. Decor was modern and a bit weird to our taste but I can't say it was an issue. There was a sauna too on the floor below our room. Location is excellent, right next to the canal and old town and near to all the restaurants.

We only realized when leaving that there were cabinets and a mini bar in the room. They were so well hidden to the walls :)

The hotel was wonderful and right in the middle of the town. It was an easy walk to all the major attractions and areas. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The room was all updated and new. We had a nice view of the street/town. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful.

It was under construction but they had it set up where we could get to the rooms. Parking was limited and the parking available was a little bit of distance but not a major issue by any means.

loved the room, - size, decor, location. Breakfast food was excellent, as were the staff. They were wonderful in accomadating our grandson joining us for breakfast.

The construction made the breakfast room unpleasant. In the bedroom, the shower had two major faults: the water flooded the bathroom floor because of no door and/or poor drainage; and the controls for the water were exceptionally hard to turn. It required a cloth to get a grip on the fixture.
