Cosy, charming and calm. Smell of fresh paint. Rather copious and tasty breakfast with view on leafy garden - unfortunately it was raining, otherwise it would have been an even better relaxing breakfast. Happy to return on another occasion.

One bedlamp did not work and the room and bed was rather small for two - big French city type of small so no surprises there. However it was high up and tucked away so we preferred it to a bigger one on the ground floor they would have offered for the same money. I guess when it's more busy, it will be less intimate and might get noisy. Not a problem at this time of year!

This place has EXCELLENT staff! It’s all very typically Marseillais in that there’s no fuss or formality but they are exceptionally helpful whenever you ask for anything. I’ll definitely go back. The location is just about ideal: you can walk to the Mucem and St. Charles - no problem - and the Boite a Sardine across the road is the place for lunch. Really good, value-for-money hotel.

Look, it’s a “boutique” hotel in as much as it is not part of some big, corporate franchise. If you’re expecting Molton Brown and fluffy robes you’ll need to pay a good bit more. The value for money here is really very good indeed. Be happy!

Great location close to metro and train station. Easy to get around and safe at night. Some great bars and bistros nearby, with other more vibrant precincts within walking distance or a short ride away.

I didn’t realise that The room I booked was up so many stairs! But it was not a problem for me.

Friendly staff, chic room, clean facilities, and pet-friendly! The breakfast was also good and the location was very close to the Marseille Train Station. Highly recommend!

The shower being in the middle of the bedroom could have used a durable mat to prevent water from spreading across the floor.

Lovely little hotel, really close to a fun area of Marseilles for cafes and bars and equally well located for the train station and port. All of the staff were really helpful despite my terrible French and I loved my little single room with the big windows! I had breakfast on my last morning, great variety and lovely setting. Would recommend!

The staff were lovely and the hotel itself and courtyard were lovely. The location was quiet and walkable to the centre with public transport stations nearby. The bed and bathroom were comfortable and had AC.

The breakfast was nice but slightly limiting if you are lactose intolerant. Also we may have missed it in the description, but there is no elevator in the property. This was fine for us but important accessibility wise.

The breakfast was delicious but pricey at €12 pp. Additionally the lady running the breakfast had no idea what decaff coffee was.

The Aircon was a little tricky to use, my husband had to take a cover off to find an on button. Also, they only provided 1 pillow each.

The breakfast was amazing. There was a lot of things on our plate and it was delicious. Location of the hotel is very good. The lobby and dining area are beautiful.

The hotel looks very artistic in the pictures but once You get there aside from the entrance, the rooms are bit boring. Few of the things in the rooms were out of the date and need to be changed. On the booking.com it is stated that public parking is available at a location nearby and that the reservation is not needed but when you get there You realize it is only street parking with no free space as it is city center. We had to find a parking on our own. We had to pay extra for a dog.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the Vieux Porte & Gare Saint Charles.

The room wasn't as nice as the one I had last time I stayed here. Although travelling alone I had a double room last time.

Room was fantastic with natural light and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and clean and the show was very good. Staff were extremely friendly

Cannot think of one thing we did not like
