I booked this room for just one night for its proximity to the Metro (visible from our balcony) & Montparnasse train station (5 min walk) as we were leaving early the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised by just how helpful the staff were and the fantastic location for restaurants etc. (Highly recommend Vache Comptoir just around the corner for exceptional food, kind staff & fair prices.) The room was small (it's Paris) but very comfortable and clean -- and we had a great view. The balcony windows opened to let in light, fresh air and Parisian ambiance which was a great bonus. Our room was ready earlier than expected which was greatly appreciated after a long flight. We had troubles with the shower and the front desk clerk did not hesitate to come right up to our room to help. We returned to Paris later in the week and very much regretted not returning to the Berkeley for that longer stay.

No complaints.

Excellent location and obliging staff. We were able to leave in our bags early, and also leave them for a few hours after checking out. Local area good for restaurants and a fresh food market, and Rive Gauche walkable if you felt inclined. Montparnasse railway station very handy for going to Versailles.

No tea making facilities. Also would have been nice to have shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, as these things awkward to bring on airplane. Our room was on the sixth floor, so no lift for the last floor.

+ friendly reception + a lot of cafees, restaurants, markets + small and cozy hotel + very cozy room under the roof + towels + cleaning + tea/coffee in the room + tasty fresh croissants

-/+ there was no hot water, but reception moved us to another room where it was ok - no any view from the window - no slippers

You get what you pay for, all the necessities are provided. Perfect for tourists. Perfect location for all public transport. Lots of cute bars and cafes around.

The room was small, but it’s expected for the price. We only needed a bed to sleep in as we wanted to spend our time exploring Paris. So it was perfect

Clean, spacious room, excellent location surrounded by wonderful restaurants, helpful and curtious staff and an excellent breakfast. Right on the main metro lines at Montparnasse train station in the heart of Paris. Very good quality for the price.

Nothing to complain about!

The location was great! There’s a metro station right outside and plenty of restaurants near by. Walking distance to Luxembourg Garden. The room was small but comfortable and clean, it gave us what we needed between days of seeing the city. Has A/C, which was great in the middle of summer! Underground parking was across the street.

Elevator was very small, there was not “do not disturb” sort of sign available for the room

Although the room was small, apparently hotel rooms in Paris are small, it was comfortable and functional.it was near the metro, so it was minutes away from everything.i loved the function of the whole room, especially the bathroom.

There was only one emplyee who was not very helpful. He was not mean or rude, he just was not helpful. All, and I mean all of the others were. So why give a bad review be ause of one person with shortcomings.

It was clean and comfortable. All the staff I interacted with were very kind.

There isn’t much that can be done about this but it was just noisy due to the location. Otherwise everything was great!

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The location is perfect for traveling in and out of Montparnasse! great food all around the area and a simple walk to the station. The room had everything I needed and more. just perfect for a quick stay!
