This hotel is a century old in a building built in 1562 so the rooms are odd shapes and some bathrooms are complete but shoehorned in. If your image of a hotel room is a double at the Hilton, you will not be happy. Clean, acceptable breakfast, staff pleasant, rooms a bit too warm (just open a window a bit). Location - walk to Louvre, Notre Dame, walk along the Seine, catch the C train across the Seine to Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Versailles, etc. A three star hotel worth the money.

Arrived late at night and the streets looked horrible. Next morning, found out that one block in each direction were fancy shops and college gathering places. Definitely not handicapped accessible and the three person elevator is tight.

This is an amazing hotel, hundreds of years old, with charm, comfort and convenience all in one. The staff was helpful and on site always. My room was a very cool, large double with bath at the top of the building so there was a wooden beam that seemed to be part of the attic dividing the sleeping area and large bathroom. The bed was super confortable and the shower was excellent. There was very effective a/c but the windows opened onto a street. The little corner she the hotel was located was very quiet but super convenient and only a block or so off the Seine and Rivoli. I partook of the buffet breakfast that offered many options and was quite good. At $15 euro it was worth it for convenience and variety though the nearby bakeries offered options as well. I could go on about how wobdetful this place was! I would recommend it 100%

I really can't think of anything except the reading lights by the bed were not really functional as reading lights as they were too dim. There was a bright floor lamp but I didn't want to have to get out of bed to turn it off. I think that's the only less-than-perfect thing. Some people might want a more modern place but I loved the charm and character of this place.

Breakfast was included in our package. Fairly basic selection and was the exact same all week. A bit of variety would have been good considering the 6 nights we were there. We did appreciate having this convenience within the hotel and allowed us to have a quick breakfast and head out to see the sites. Staff was very attentive and helpful all week whenever we had questions Very clean room with some historic rock and old timber accents Location, Location, Location! Within walking distance to many of the historic attractions in Paris and a huge selection of restaurants. Excellent. Good A/C in room and hotel

Shower in our room was very small. Worked for us because we are of smaller stature, but larger individuals would find this very difficult. Another room in the hotel may be a better fit for some individuals that require more room. Room was generally quiet but we were woken several times during the week by drunken individuals yelling outside the building in the middle of the night. Area felt safe when we came in around midnight from our evenings out though, these noises were in the 3 to 4 am timeframes.

The hotel has a perfect location, 200 m from the bistros' area and the same distance from the metro. The stuff is most kind and gladly assist with any request. Assisted us with very clear explanations and printed instruction of how to get to the locations we wished to visit in. Breakfast was also great! Free boffe of almost everything: some kinds od cheese and sauseges, milk, orange and grapefruit juice, eggs and omlets. Of course fresh baked bagets and cruassons. The room is in suitable size, designed typically to French Rainessanse style.

There weren't vegetables in breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent! Croissants were delicious and fresh. Lots of variety and it was all good. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. And the location was great. Close to many restaurants and metro and within walking distance to so much.

Room was very tight and the lighting was terrible. None of the bedside lamps worked which made it very dark at night. Bathroom shower was super small and tight, but water pressure was fantastic.

Location is wonderful. It is close by many attractions, and since my friend and I walk most everywhere, this was great. It's close to a little bakery and next door to a small market. The room is a bit hot for our taste, but it was manageable. I have never been in a quieter hotel, other than when the garbage men come in the morning. It's charming, small and quirky here, and we loved it!

A bit more information about the area would have been nice, and if the bedding wasn't so warm. A choice of something besides a feather duvet would have been nice.

Fantastic location next to the Seine and within walking distance of Notre Dame, the Louvre, and a metro station. Clean and warm.

The room was warm but sometimes felt too hot (better than feeling too cold in winter I suppose!). The interior was clean but 'original condition'. If you like newly decorated rooms then this may not be suitable for you. On the other hand, if you like distinctive older fashioned rooms then this may be for you.

location is perfect, especially with small kids as a lot of sites are in walking distance. the room was great for a family as it was spacious and we really liked the quirkiness of it. Everything was clean and well kept.

We arrived at 1400 which was the time for check in and was told they just needed 5 more minutes to get the room ready. in the end we only got the room after waiting for 45 minutes and did not get much of an apology. when we checked out, the girl in reception clearly didn’t know how to handle payment for parking. She charged us but did not give us a ticket to exit the garage which meant I had to go back again to get it. When she finally found the tickets, she only gave me one instead of two which meant we did not get the discount for our full stay and ended up paying 20 EUR more than expected for parking. and we got delayed for almost an hour just trying to get out of the parking garage.

You would love it if you are a big fan of antique or vintage style hotel. We happened to be this special kind. It's also worth mentioning this hotel situated right next to metro exit. A convenience store is nearby as well.

Apparently the hotel needs some kind of modernization. Air-con, exhausted fan and tv are in place. However, the infrastructure (door/ceiling/wallpaper) and the antique pieces (chairs/mirrors/table) they have, may need to be maintained and repaired.

Cute little boutique hotel in the centre of everything . Everything was just perfect . Staff were so friendly and kind and honest, I left my watch behind and they contacted me straight away Bed was comfy, room was at perfect temperature as it was so cold outside. No complaints at all and will definitely return to this hotel once they don't increase their prices

Nothing at all just hope they don't increase their charges like most hotels do
