Perfect location - less than 5 minute walk from the metro station Chatelet Les Halles. Great safe neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shopping. Of course centrally located near the Louvre, and easy walking distance to popular neighbourhoods of Saint Germain and Le Marais. We even walked to the Eiffel Tower (appx 50min - great way to explore Paris on a nice day). Reception staff were very helpful and let us check-in early, but even if your room isn’t ready early, they do offer luggage storage so you can explore the city while waiting for your room. Great value given the location!

We stayed during a Friday and Saturday night and it was very loud on the streets even with the window closed.

It was a memorable stay in the heart of Paris. The staff is very hospitable, polite and serving. The room is rather spacious and has almost everything you may need for your comfort rest and nights. French breakfast is very good. The location is perfect. It gives you the true sense of city vibes. You may even feel yourself a Parisian for a while. I definitely recommend this place for families and all travelers who are in love with the city.

The interior is nice but very old as well as all the furniture. The hotel needs renovation. And I guess it has already begun and localized at one of the floors. Anyway it does not introduce any discomfort. No parking area in front of the hotel. It is very inconvenient for loading your luggage while blocking the traffic at the narrow street.

The staff was very friendly, especially Adam, the cleaning man. The front desk always greeted us and they helped us mail some postcards, providing stamps when we couldn't find them. The room was bigger than we thought it was going to be, which was a nice surprise. The location is really what brings this place to a 9 -- close to the RER train from the airport and central in Paris, plus the cost is excellent considering. One point that is not a pro or a con really is the very cute and tiny elevator! Super unique and you'll have a laugh riding it, but it does only fit one person with luggage, or two people without, so may have to do two trips with the elevator or take the stairs.

Our only real complaints were the pillows were a tad thin, and the bathroom probably wasn't the cleanest it could have been -- there were a few hairs here and there, and I think the wall had some odd black stain (mold? mildew?) but it wasn't enough to bother us and really, for the cost, you do have to expect some little things like this.

The location was perfect and staff was very accommodating and friendly. Welcome cocktail and free water was appreciated. Fun rides in the elevator. My mom and kids stayed here over 20 years ago and the hotel is still charming.

Everything was good...the wall AC wasn't working in our room, but a window unit had been added before our arrival. Top notch staff!

Excellent location, clean but rooms a bit tired - although fine for our needs. Thought we had booked B&B but on departure was told we had to pay more for breakfast - not what we believe was listed on booking.com.

Having to pay extra for breakfast

Location is unbeatable! Only 5 minutes walk to the Louvre Museum. Lots of restaurants and eating places nearby and shopping as well. The Samaritaine shopping mall is just across the road. Train stations nearby as well. Staff speaks English and very polite. Check in and check out very quick.

The hotel could with an upgrade, the lift was broken last 2 days we were there in January 2023. But not a big issue for us as we were on the 1st floor, but have to roll our luggage on the stairs.

I LOVE this hotel, I booked it for my first four nights in Paris and was so so SO pleased with the location and staff, it began to feel like home! I enjoyed this location so much that I booked it AGAIN for 3 nights. Myself and my small suitcase fit perfectly in the room and elevator, and I was very happy with everything, especially the street view I got both times! The staff also cleaned my room and bathroom everyday which I thought was very generous. I’d really recommend staying here. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and also very welcomed by the staff, who always seemed to be looking out for me.

The room is normal sized for a hotel in Paris — small! So be aware of that, you could probably barely fit, or maybe NOT fit, a large suitcase inside the elevator and the room. The bathrooms are also very small, when sitting on the toilet in one of the rooms, my knees touched the wall in front of me (I’m not that big of a person). So be aware of size in general when booking here! The street is a bit noisy through the night in this location, but I was so tired I slept right through it. I’d still say this hotel is absolutely worth it.

The location was perfect and affordability allowed us to stay 2 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious a helped start the day of touring off right with a full stomach. The beds were clean and comfortable and the rooms were quiet with the windows shut. Great restaurants steps away from the hotel and shops right around the corner. Felt very safe in the location. Underground parking nearby for a fee.

Hall phone rang a lot in the mornings. No free or reduced rate parking.

The hotel location was excellent, close to many tourist attractions including the Louvre (easily walkable) and many other galleries. Although small, the hotel was clean and tidy and all the staff were extremely helpful.

Lift access to all floor was very limited. The elevator could manage just two people at a time. Some rooms were a little small, but the ground floor rooms were large.

Great location, good value for the money considering it´s Paris, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, it´s perfect if you need no luxuries, just a clean and quiet room to sleep, a shower and a great location, I would repeat my stay here if I came back to Paris

the room was small but that´s Paris I guess, everything in the room looks old, the elevator is tiny and getting out of the shower might get dangerous, a handle bar to grab to help elder people out of the shower would ge a good idea, since it´s slippery and tricky
