This is an old, authentic farmhouse, away from it all in the middle of vineyards, which was exactly what we wanted. The owners, Veronique and Tony, were extremely welcoming and looked after us wonderfully. It was a beautiful, fairly easy walk (about 4Km) to St Emilion village (we didn’t have a car), and there are some other walks that could have been explored if the weather had been better ☔️☹️ The owners no longer produce their own wine, but we were able to taste a couple of their vintages. Many other cellar doors are close by. We also very much enjoyed speaking Franglais with them and other guests.

We loved everything to be honest, but it might not suit everyone. It’s quite isolated, there are no TVs in the rooms, so evenings are quiet. My only suggestion for an improvement would probably be to have a little bit of variety at breakfast.

Incredible location right in the vineyards of St. Emillion. Attentive and caring hosts (Veroniqué and Tony) who don't hesitate to go above and beyond. No request was too small, from a (very!) early breakfast, to allowing us to use a spare cellphone charger as we'd left our adaptor at home. They even offered to drive us to a restaurant in the evening, and generously allowed us to taste a wine that was made at the chateau itself! Truly an amazing stay. We will be back.

We loved our stay at Pierre de Lune! The room was luxurious; the garden is beautiful and a lovely spot to sunbathe, picnic and watch the sun go down. Veronique was very helpful in telling us how we could get to St Emilion on foot without walking on the main roads - we walked there and back on a combination of back roads and footpaths next to vineyards. Tony and Veronique allowed us to try their gorgeous wine and you are able to purchase bottles to drink on the premises which we took advantage of. If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful and authentic stay then this is it! Merci Veronique et Tony!

Veronique and Tony were excellent hosts! Their guest house is very warm and inviting. It is located right within their vineyard. They gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner (both for casual dining and fine dining) for the two nights that we were there. Also, you simply must take the historic monuments tour in Saint Émilion. The monolithic church can only be seen on this tour.

Veronique and her husband were so friendly and accommodating, very responsive and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was perfect, plentiful but not too much. The surroundings were beautiful. We would certainly recommend this place for a nights stay. There were 6 other people staying and we only realised at breakfast as the place was so private and tranquil.

The Chateau is located in the middle of vineyards. Everywhere you look is so pretty. Veronique is so nice, she even offered to pick us up from the train station. And let me tell you about the breakfast! The food is amazing. The jams, the coppa, the cheese, the coffee. After dinner, we bought wine from what they offer. The room gives a really good ancient vibe, and when you look out the window the yard is so pretty. We slept really well.

The friendly couple that owns the chateau were very friendly. Made sure we were comfortable. Took care of our needs. Reasonably priced room for the location near high end St Emilion. Charming farmhouse.

Nothing. It’s an old farmhouse. Has tons of character and charm.

The staff, the location, the breakfast

Would have preferred a duvet to blankets. The double bed was two singles and needs a proper thick mattress topper. Unfortunately we were without hot water on our first morning .
