This is a very nice hotel. Atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. Our flight was late at night so we couldn't get proper sleep. When we arrived in Tbilisi, it was early morning, long before our check in time. We got to the hotel and were able to drop off our luggage. Anna at the reception saw how tired we were and offered us bottles of water. The room was not vacant yet and she kindly asked us to give them some time. We decided to have an early morning walk around the old city, but after couple of hours we were too tired and decided to go back to the lobby and just wait there. When we came back, Mariami took over from Anna at the reception and was very kind to accomodate us as quickly as they could. I would also like to mention Tika that we got to meet in the subsequent days, who was also very kind and welcoming. The highlight of this hotel and this trip was the staff at the hotel who did everything they could to make sure we get an amazing experience. Hotel has ideal location - you can easily walk pretty much everywhere. It is lively at night, and yet safe. P.S.: delicious khachapuri at breakfast!

The landline phone wasn't working. It was not a big deal though.

Very very good service. When we had issues with our first room (was very nice but no elevator access) we were transferred to a different room that was also very nice. When we needed to do a last minute late checkout we were transferred to another room free of charge and our luggage was moved for us so we could just continue our day outside. Staff was always super nice and helpful and family rooms were great for our needs.

4th floor has no elevator access, which was not listed ahead of time. Room on 4th floor is also not great for tall people. Recommend making sure room meets your needs ahead of time (they can accommodate)

Fantastic location right outside Meidan Bazaar in Tbilisi, near the bottom of the steps leading up to Narikala Fortress, on a pedestrian-only street. (Cars can get up to the cross street a few meters away, which is where the taxi picked us up for the airport). It was just a few minutes walk through the Old City to the Glass Bridge and Rike Park, the statue of St George and the cable cars going overhead were visible from the hotel room windows (photo attached). The decor was brand new and well designed, while still having some local charm. New bathrooms, beds, etc. Our "family" room had a partition between the rooms, for additional privacy, and yet there was plenty of space

We were looking for a hotel with a family room and this property offered that. It has an excellent location in the old town close to all the attractions, right opposite to the sulphur baths as well as looking onto the Meteki Church. If you are lucky to get a river facing room with a balcony, its amazing to watch the world go by while you sit on the balcony. Its a historical property which has been renovated and hence provides the modern amenities, yet maintains the old world charm. Buffet breakfast is provided at the restaurant next door which offers a very good spread of hot and cold servings. Last but not the least, staff are extremely helpful

The room was large and bright. Receptionists were friendly.

We had booked a room with a large double bed, but the hotel provided two separate single beds with bad mattresses right next to each other. There was a blood stain on the sheet of one of the beds, which had been hidden by moving the beds closer together. The view from the balcony was closed and facing the wall. The breakfast was simple and the variety of food was small.

Just remember the name "Hotel Aivani Old Tbilisi” for the best place to stay in Tbilisi. I stayed for 1 day. Light, airy and very spacious... very welcoming atmosphere, comfortable and well equipped. A lot of food points, cafes and restaurants nearby yet, no loud noises to disturb you. Nicest staff, friendly and extremely helpful. The location of the hotel is great, right in the heart of old Tbilisi. I have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful hotel to tourists who want to fill the Georgian spirit, relax and have fun. Definitely going back to this place on my next trip!!!

This is an honest review, I experienced staying in this hotel just one night. Aivani is no doubt the best resort hotel in the city of Tbilisi. The location is amazing. The service in this hotel is beyond my expectation. The hospitality is heart warming, the staffs are helpful. Food is amazing.. breakfast was really enjoyable. Great walking paths for fresh healthy morning walking. I hope this review will give you some insight about what to expect in Aivani hotel. I thank you all for giving me such a pleasant and memorable experience.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Hotel is full of great art. Just a charming place. Love the charm of this hotel. Does not give you the routine chain hotel vibe at all. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. The vintage aesthetics were awesome. Wish I wasn't just passing through! Great location. I really loved the character of the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you again.

This is a very centrally located hotel, The staff are absolutely excellent. Everyone was friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. The room was clean, comfortable and had an excellent bed. Breakfast was the best I think I've ever had. The room, location and breakfast were all great - but the staff make this place really special, they were all genuinely lovely. We will not stay anywhere else in Tbilisi. Thank you for beautiful experience! Anna
