This hotel is owned by Tariel Suari, a well-known classical guitarist who studied and toured Europe for many years. He is still quite active, and when he is not performing, he is running his hotel and practices every morning for two hours whilst we are having breakfast and then in the evenings in the lobby bar. The best musician we have heard in a very long time. A great welcome, and what an honour. 🥰 The hotel is in the old town, up a hill. 🫣 Great decor, amazing food at breakfast, great staff, and service. Restaurants, cafes, sulphur baths, and other tourist attractions on both sides of the river are just walking distance. The view of the light house from our terrace was delightful. The resident cats, Kisa, and the black kittie are just adorable. 🐈 Parking is available up the hill from the motel. We extended our stay for an extra night, and this was accommodated with ease. Such a great hotel! The staff, including the owner, were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. Right in the heart of the "old town," which was perfect for exploring. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of choices and even live music! (Also, they had the sweetest cat in town living in the hotel — nice bonus)

The room's internet was a bit unreliable, making it tough to get work done — I had to head down to the lobby to stay connected.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was right next to the Bath region and in walking distance of a lot of restaurants and bars that I had researched. It was tastefully decorated too and there was the sweetest cat called Kisi that would roam around! Gia picked us up from the airport and when we got to the hotel gave us a taste of Georgian wine and chacha!! Gia and Tara ordered us taxis and were extremely helpful!

I didn’t dislike anything about the hotel but it’s important to note that it is up a steep hill for those with mobility issues!

The location was very good, close to but above the old town, so with a very pleasant view across Tbilisi from the room's terrace. The room itself was large, with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. Breakfast provided a wide range of foods, including Georgian specialties. The staff, including the manager Nina, were very pleasant and accommodating. The botanic gardens, for which the entry is further up the same street, are well worth a visit.

Not as a "didn't like", since I've visited Tbilisi several times and know the terrain, but as a caution for guests who are perhaps not so young/energetic, the hotel is up a steep cobblestone street, and room we selected, because of the terrace and view we preferred, involves climbing 3 floors - there isn't an elevator. All quite manageable, and not a "didn't like" - just needs to be managed.

I spent a week in the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay. My room was a little smaller than I expected, so if you are claustrophobic, take a bigger room. I did not spend too much time in the hotel anyway. Had no view from the window. Also I like to have windows open at night, and there was a club somewhere in the neighborhood, dancing and music till 11pm almost daily. But after that very quiet. And of course you have to be prepared that the hotel is located up the hill. So going to the hotel is a little fitness which I did not mind. Highly recommended!

I loved how cozy and comfortable I felt. Hotel is not big, u feel safe and cared. Our room was quite big and bright, with a big balcony. It was a little cold inside the room, but we had a heater, so it helped us. Our room was cleaned on daily basis, breakfast buffet was yummy, Thank u to chef! Ms. Viktoria and Mr. Gia were always there to help us, if needed something. Also location, it could not be any better honestly, you basically can just walk to all tourist spots!

Everything was good, no complaints!

Exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the staff! We felt so warmly welcomed and care of - we arrived way too early for a check-in but our room became ready within 40 mins which we spent enjoying coffee in a restaurant of the hotel. It has been our wedding trip and attention and nice surprise we got from the hotel were overwhelming. Genuine wish to help and to care about the guests was incredible from every member of staff. Very tasty breakfast that was not the same every morning (bonus!) Location is superb on a small street in the old city, very authentic. Our room had a marvelous little balcony with wooden carved shutters. Definitely highly recommended for everyone visiting Tbilisi. We will for sure be back and bring friends and family! Thank you!

Beyond all praise - the hotel itself, the staff's attitude, the hotel room, and the breakfasts. The location is extremely convenient, although you don't realize it right away - the entire tourist center is within walking distance, and the famous Tbilisi baths are literally at the doorstep. We had a room with its own terrace, and it was a special delight - going out with a glass of wine in the evening and immersing yourself in the atmosphere of this wonderful city! And what wonderful breakfasts - they even have famous pastries, like the ones at the upper station of the funicular, just a bit smaller. And for those who like a little kick, there's a bottle of chacha and champagne in the bucket. When we go to Tbilisi next time, the choice of a hotel won't be a question - it will definitely be Kisi, and only Kisi! Thank you, Kisi!

Breakfast was awesome and the location is great. Breakfast was definitely one of the best we had in Georgia. But the staff is the best part of staying at Kisi - especially Ninutsa and Nika. And also George. They are so lovely, friendly, sweet, helpful, attentive, service minded and they made my stay here the best in Georgia! I was twice in Tbilisi, and unfortunately my friend had already booked another hotel for us the second time when we returned. I wish we had booked Kisi again, I would love to come back to Kisi any time. I will definitely go back here if I go back to Tbilisi. Kisi the kitty. The staff was outstanding. The breakast is the best in town. Thecwatercpressure wad great. The internet wifi was ok. Even though I had some dislikes about the space itself, I still loved my stay here and would certainly stay here again.

In retrospect I would not have booked the more expensive deluxe balcony room, because the balcony isn't private, so it just meant I shut my curtains all day. Whereas I could have used the balcony just the same, but paid less and had more privacy, if I just booked a regular room. This isn't a dislike, but I thought it was wierd how many lamps were in the room that were unusable because there was no outlet socket nearby, so it was a big tease. The towels were pretty worn out too.
