Our room was very big and next to the garden. Perfect shower, towels, soap and a small kitchen with cups, glasses, coffee and tee. The staff is very friendly and helps whenever possible. An enormous and tasteful and lovely prepared breakfast waits for you every day: fresh fruit, different kinds of bread and cheese, eggs, aubergine salad, tomatoes, sweet things like cake, homemade marmelade and honey - you name it! The neighbourhood is very quiet so you can really get your sleep. It is, however, only a five minutes walk from the Shota Rustaveli Avenue (next to the National Theatre). In the surrounding streets you’ll find small supermarkets, a bakery and a couple of nice restaurants.

I loved everything about this special place. 10 minutes walk, but a world away, from bustling Rustaveli, small, intimate, with great facilities including 24hr free tea and coffee in the lovely dining room upstairs. Georgian Airways took 6 days to deliver my luggage (note this is apparently common, don't on any account book with them, and beware of KLM, Air France and others for whom they operate the Tbilisi flight). The staff at the family-run hotel were fantastic at chasing up the airport and just generally being caring of my predicament. It made a huge difference to my stressful first week.

Old Town Mtatsminda exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very nice and clean and the view of the city from the common area at the top was simply amazing! A perfect place to chill out with some of the hotels own wine after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel is centrally located but high enough up from the main street that its still nice and quiet. The hotels biggest assets, however, is the fantastic owner. He couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome. He even packed us a nice breakfast we could take with us to the airport since we were leaving in the middle of the night. If we ever come back to Tbilisi we would definitely be staying here again.

The Tbilisi-bound flight had to divert to Aktau Airport in Kazakhstan due to bad weather conditions, causing a delay of nearly five hours compared to the scheduled time, as it had to depart for Tbilisi again. I arrived at the hotel around 3 a.m., but the host greeted me kindly. The small hotel, located on a hill in the Old Town, is well-maintained and charming. The breakfast, prepared with great care, was excellent and set a benchmark for future breakfasts at other hotels. As a senior traveler with heavy luggage, I opted for a taxi from the airport on the first day. However, even without luggage, the slightly elevated location of the city posed no problem for leisurely walks. I consider myself fortunate to have booked this hotel for the last day of my trip to Eastern Europe. Host Irakli, see you soon!

Nothing special.

This is a beautiful little hotel that has retained many of the features and charm of the traditional old style wooden house which it once was,but still offers comfort and cosiness.The owner is extremely helpful and friendly, a real mine of information and always available.The breakfast is amazing as there are so many local foods to try and many of the buffet dishes vary every day.I also think it's unbeatable value as the location is also very convenient too,really near to Rustavelli ave.

It's a very stylish and romantic boutique hotel hidden away on a narrow curving street, right in the middle of an authentic neighbourhood in old Tblisi. It's only a stones throw from the main thoroughfare, Rustaveli Ave, and within 10-15 minutes walking distance to the touristy part of town. The decorations and rooftop terrace are full of atmosphere, and all the facilities and the breakfast were great. This was our final stay in Georgia and a really nice way to cap off our time in this beautiful country.

Unfortunately, the twin bed we had was pretty terrible. The mattress had almost no springs in it and it was just laid on some wooden boards, so there was no suspension at all. I slept very poorly because of it. If they would change this I would give this place a 10.

This place has an amazing interior design and is run by a family. They were very kind. We had some changes in plans end minute and arrived at the property in middle of the night (it was raining outside). The staff allowed us to rest in breakfast room and gave us 4 hours early checkin and offered us tea/coffee as well. Breakfast has variety of things to eat and view is amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Tbilisi. Book it without any doubt.

Really lovely, kind helpful staff. Would definitely recommend it! A little hidden and getting here be prepared to walk up and down to the main thoroughfare. But since it’s midway up the mountain, you’re also halfway to the peak as you wind your way through the cute neighborhood. They clearly stand with Ukraine which is great to see also🇺🇦

Nothing with the property itself, but be prepared to walk up/down steep inclines if you want to explore the neighborhood by foot (which I recommend!)

I would go back any time to have breakfast at this place and see the faces of two lovely and friendly ladies who make the breakfast themselves and definitely make you feel at home. The staff overall was the best part of this hotel. Super friendly and helpful with good English. You don’t get the feel of staying at the hotel and it was more like staying with local people and experience the real Georgia. And the location was great as well. In a very lovely neighborhood to just walk around the hotel and explore the city, close to the freedom square and national museum and museum of fine arts and art galleries. 20 mins walk to Meidan Bazar and the Peace bridge and the cabin cars. The hotel was super clean and nicely decorated.

BREAKFAST. I picked this hotel based on the reviews about nice breakfast and I was not diasppointed! It was delicious indeed, even coffee, which rare. You can see a beautiful panorama of the city from the dining area. LOCATION. It is situated in a quiet area close to all main tourist attractions, during the first two days of the vacation I had no need to use public transport. FACILITIES. The hotel is small and cozy, it corresponds to the description and pictures. I was pleasantly surprized that they cleaned the room every day and added bottled water for free. Also there were slippers and toiletries. The staff is very friendly. To sum up, I would definetely recommend this place! I bellieve, it is a good value for money and I will book this hotel again when I am visiting Tbilisi next time.

You need to walk a short distance up the hill to get there, but for me it was not a problem. The walls are thin, so your peace depends on how quiet/noisy your neighbours are.
