We had a lovely big room for three nights, with a balcony, it was very clean with a big comfy bed. Airco was a relief as it was so hot. Coffee & tea facilities are always great to have. The pool was great. Parking was free, we were lucky to find a space below ground so it was nice and cool. It's a nice quiet area, but easy to reach the town center by foot in about 15-20 mins. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of fresh produce and all very tasty.

We had to wait 10 minutes at reception before someone came to check us in, which was frustrating after a long, hot drive. Dogs are not allowed on the terrace outside the bar, so we didn't use the bar, which was a pity.

Great value for money close to city center (a great walk along the Lichtentaler allee). The room was quite big, with balcony, airco and fridge. The receptionists were very kind and helpful. Also, the pool, sauna, gym and whirlpool are a great bonus to have. Some parts are up for a bit of a touch up (the desk chair in the room was looking a bit dated, the paint came of from the side from the whirlpool), but all in all that didn't take anything away from the very enjoyable stay I had.

I think the breakfast is overpriced at 20 euro. I decided to not make use of it, so cannot judge on quality.

Free car parking at hotel. Extensive breakfast with lots of choices. Lovely balcony overlooking the back garden of the hotel pool. Spacious quiet room. Comfy bed. Polite chatty receptionist. About 20mins foot walk to town center.

There is a construction site next to the hotel. In the Mon-Fr week noises will come across the property. Air con controller not intuitive to use. It was also not strong enough to keep the room cool at say 18-20C. Room interior was a bit dated but easily overlookable. Unfortunately smoking is permitted on the balconies. Dinner options at hotel a bit limited. It is better to eat out or get your own food from supermarket.

Hotel was in a great location, an easy walk to town but also in a quiet neighborhood, we loved the peace and quiet of the park area outside our balcony. Room was very clean and spacious. Bathrooms were in great working order. Balcony was wonderful, and we loved the bottle of water in the room after checking in on a hot summer day. Loved the easy access to the parking lot and garage.

Only minor problem was that the shutter in our room was nonfunctional, but there were blackout curtains, so the hotel had tried to rectify the problem, and the curtains did keep external light out.

INCREDIBLY impressed with this hotel. It's a gem in Baden Baden with a lovely 15-20 minute walk to the heart of town through a lovely greenspace. The hotel itself was a slightly swanky surprise on our Black Forest road trip. It was fantastic to have a balcony to air out on, take a swim, hot tub, and citrusy sauna! Also the gym was a welcome surprise with some basic machines and weights.

Only drawback is they can run out of parking on their property. We got lucky, but I saw a lot of disgruntled guests checking in later who had to hunt out parking down some side streets, which was hard to come by.

Clean and good size room, good restaurant (terrace outside is lovely), but especially the restaurant service - unfortunately I don't know her name, but the waitress who served both evenings made me feel really welcome and taken care of, and I could see she was excellent with all the clients, so thank you so much for this.

Breakfast selection could be slightly better, e.g. more veggies. Bed mattress a bit too soft for me, but that depends on personal preference.

The best hotel we stayed at while we were on this road trip. For such a decent price we were able to experience swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, there were also gym facilities as well as a nice balcony for us to relax. We probably had the best time staying at this hotel in comparison to eight other hotels we stayed at during our trip.

We did have trouble with parking as we booked this last minute. However there were more parkings available away from the hotel.

Breakfast is very good. Rooms are good, large and clean. Swimming pool and sauna are really fine. Nice bath. Great balcony. Bed quality is high but size a bit small for couples. Facilities and services are good and comfortable.

Small bar. Carpet in room not so clean. Too warm in corridors and not so fresh air in common areas. The elevators need to be up to dated. Parking space is narrow and not always available. The rest is fine.

Great location - a few steps from the beautiful promenade park, Lichtentaler Allee; 10 min walk to Kloster Lichtental and 15 min to central Baden-Baden. Bus stop around the corner to take you to the train station or city center. Big hotel with clean comfy rooms (with balcony), air con (great during heat wave) and friendly personnel. Very peaceful and quiet. Big swimming pool accessed by a separate elevator - Ask for the bathrobe at the reception (Pool or no pool, make sure to enjoy Friedrichsbad and Caracalla therme). Superb delicious breakfast.

4 days was not enough:( Price was a bit high, but so is everything nowadays.

The place has seen some years but it’s absolutely well maintained, with a gorgeous swimming pool, gym, a well-kept garden, and a nice range of breakfast options. The staffs are also nice and responsible, replying to my enquiry email in time. This is my first time visiting Baden-baden and staying at Leonardo Royal, and overall I’m really happy with the stay - would definitely come back for another time!
