Considering it is a 3-star hotel (which in Germany still presents a very good standard unlike in many other countries), the value for money is very good. The hotel is clean although it is old, the staff are professional and helpful, and the location is excellent. The breakfast offered everything you need - all the staples - and for just under a week's stay, sufficed completely.

There is not much that can disappoint, unless your expectations are too high. It is important to remember that it is a 3-star hotel and does perform every function expected of it at that standard. There are slight annoyances that can be mentioned, such as the lift being pretty useless as multiple staircases still need to be climbed before and after using the lift. However, if you do not have heavy luggage or mobility issues this is not an issue.

We took the bigger room for the AC and it was heaven! The room was huge (28sqm) and had a view of the main street. The room was quiet when the windows were closed, so we had a wonderful sleep. The location is not the city center but was perfectly chosen for us to stroll around the city and use public transport. The bed was very comfortable and the room was always clean.

Unfortunately, the bigger the room the smaller the bath. It was a little cramped with the toilet, sink and shower being located in a 3 sqm room within the hotel room. Our shower was broken when we arrived but got fixed the day after. We didnt have breakfast, but from the look of it, there was not that much variety and 17€/person seemed quitee expensive.

The staff was excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was great. The rooms were very nice and well maintained. The location for sightseeing was great and there were a number of excellent dining options within walking distance.

The web site says they have an elevator but that is a little deceptive. Reception is up a long flight of stairs with no elevator service. Technically there is an elevator reachable from an inner courtyard entrance next door but the outer door was locked when we tried to use it so it worked mostly on exit or between floors in the hotel. For an older couple like us getting bags up to room was a challenge. Fortunately, the staff saw us struggling and carried our bags up several flights for us. This may or may not be a problem depending on your age and how much luggage you have. We enjoyed everything else about this property.

This may very cell be the best place I’ve ever stayed at. I travelled with my mom and she was absolutely stunned with the building overall and our room in particular. I’m not even talking about close proximity to the largest shopping street in Berlin and variety of amazing restaurants. It was a wonderful experience to stay there, stunning hotel, the most friendly stuff I’ve ever met ( every single staff member would always greet us every day with a smile), immaculate cleanliness. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

Charming hotel in a great area. Very stylishly furnished. It is definitely a place where you can relax. Extremely helpful, nice and very communicative service. The rooms are very comfortable. We were given a room overlooking a beautiful and quiet backyard. Clean and tidy. I will definitely keep this address to return to this hotel on my next visit to Berlin.

The property was excellent

The stairs, plus the chap on reception - he was unfriendly. He didn’t ask what rooms we requested - ours was a twin, or companions a double. We got the double, they got a twin with faulty legs and had to be relocated, then bed fixed and back. We named reception man Victor as in ‘I don’t believe it’ victor

Unfortunately my initial room had issues and didn't meet my standards. However, this was addressed fabulously by the person on reception and I was moved to an alternate room which was amazing and well above my expectations. Sometimes things arnt right but the way it is handled makes the difference and the Augusta certainly resolved my issue fabulously. My review is based on the alternate room I was provided.

Our room with the balcony was huge & had a lovely view. The bed was super comfy. We couldn't hear any outside street noise or from our fellow hotel neighbours. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. And thankfully the room had air-conditioning, which made sleeping aok.

The towels !! Extremely thin..time for new ones.

Boutique hotel in Berlin, in a very quiet street, in an "fin de siecle" building, yet very modern fitted with all comforts. A great kudos for the personnel welcoming you despite a late arrival, and for advising me a lot about the surroundings! Great breakfast, very nicely spacious attic room with lovely windows on Berlin roofs and sky! Anytime back there! thanks! Recht herzlichen Dank!

Nice and comfortable hotel in Ku'damm - very close to our favourite breakfast bistro. Easy to reach - S-Bahn stations, U-lines and buses. We got the double room - besides main room with double bed there was another smaller room with single bed. The hotel is located in old tenement house with tall ceilings and decorations. The greatest plus is that the staff is really helpful and cordial!

A small thing - the rooms are perfumed before accomodation, and our room was a bit overperfumed. That's all.
