Reception staff was very kind. Great location. Clear and precise instructions. Breakfast good. Comfort room. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel after our check out.

In the hotel bathroom there were those standard messages of if we wanted to reuse the towel, to save the environment, which was to leave the towel extended. But there was no place to dry the towels in the bathroom. It didn't make any sense. Also, our room didn't have those "do not disturb" signs for the door, for example. I needed to make an important work call (23h till 1am) and the wifi was terrible, the connection failed and crashed several times which compromised the progress of the call.

I was given a very comfortable room on the second floor and it was quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Reception staff were helpful (on the whole) and one receptionist was most helpful in allowing me to check in for my return flight on the hotel's reception computer. I am very grateful to her for this. I stayed in the same hotel four years ago when it was called Hotel California - it is now part of the Leonardo group. I was pleased to see that it is still a very good hotel and standards have not changed for the worse.

The immovable glass barrier in the bath makes it difficult to reach for the bath taps when running a bath. One of the receptionists gave me wrong information about various things on three different occasions. This included telling me that the hotel cannot use the reception computer to help guests while her colleague did this willingly (see above). She needs to be better trained.

Location couldn't be better. Right in Ku'dam and 5 min walk to either Uhlandstrasse U-bahn or S-bahn in Savigny Platz with train direct to the airport. Staff friendly and helpful! Loads of restaurants around! All categories!! After a bad start at check-into probably hotel's smallest room (miserable!) I was moved to a large and very nice room! Couldn't be much better! Good breakfast in large breakfast room. "Standard buffet". But nothing to complaint about! Tables always quickly cleared.

Nothing! At least not as soon as I was moved from the initial shoebox room!! Maybe a little pricey? But Ku'dam is Ku'dam?

A very warm welcome, great staff at the reception. Free water and apples. Got a room upgrade - thanks so much for that, we did not expect that! The very next day the room was cleaned and everything was replenished: water (high quality), coffee pods (average quality). The room is ok in size, nothing special, but we did not stay at home except for sleeping. No noise from the street, no noise from other rooms. A little bit tricky lift, but it was fun :) The location is not central at all, but it is close to the zoo. The district is really cool, a breath of fresh air after living many times in central districts with all known sights - give it a try. Plenty of delicious restaurants in the neighborhood, 10 minutes to the center by metro. I loved the stay!

Really nothing. I did not like the rating of the hotel. Seems like bad reviews were from the distant past. I stayed in much better hotels basing on Booking reviews, but they were really comparable with this one.

This is the second time we stayed here. We chose to book here again because we liked the area and the price of the hotel is good considering the facilities and location. We got a room with a bathtub and overlooking the inner courtyard, as requested. Coffee machine was available in the room. We also used it to generate hot water for tea. Small fridge and a safe were also available.

Wi-fi was particularly bad this time. Most of the time we had to use mobile data, but perhaps due to the location of the room, we barely got any signal for that either. Translucent bathroom door - still weird :D

Great location, very easy access to other areas of Berlin. S and U Bahns can be reached in 10-15 minutes. It was very chilly during our stay, so we didn't get to walk around the area in the evenings. Will have to come again and definitely to Leonardo. The hotel room is cozy and big, an inhuman-sized TV on the wall, fast internet. It's partly lucky that it faces the courtyard, so it's not clear if the room would be noisy if the windows faced the street. Special thanks to the staff!!! Only upon arrival, they served us water with lemon and apples, kept our backpacks until the evening, but most importantly, found an opportunity to offer a better room at no extra charge. Thanks again!

That's when Hotel Leonardo exceeded expectations. I certainly did not get the quality offered in other cities for a similar price.

The comfort was enormous. We got upgraded to the superior room surprisingly. Quiet and very good looking rooms. There was water and coffee waiting for us in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location which I thought is far away from the center is beautiful and very convenient to sightseeing - metro station next to the hotel and train station 5 min walk.

The wifi was a disaster! That’s why I’m giving 9/10. It didn’t work at all. Apart from that everything was brilliant.

overall good experience, but compared to the last visits, a slight lack of attention to detail. For example: My remote control was obviously broken and the service team ignored to replace it for my whole visit. Or room service wanted to enter my room at 7:30 a.m. and not on my move out day. Some other problems with a running toilet etc. just led to a bit of a perception that the service was not as impeccable as last time.

The location is great, staff was helpful, there's a chance to leave your car securely. Perfect place for a quick city escape, close to many major tourist attractions. Plus, the breakfast is worth the price, especially if you're on the run.

Can't really think about anything considering the price, but this will probably depend whether you arrive during high or low season. Note there's a limited number of parking space. Note it's not a luxury, "just renovated" hotel, but a 8/9 out of 10 score still applies.

Staff were amazing. Very friendly and looked after our every need. Hotel was clean and in a very nice area with lots of food outlets closely and within easy reach of public transport. The breakfasts were very good.

Our only thing is that the impression we got on the booking page was that each room would be air conditioned. We were in the older section, probably because we asked for a quieter room and it was very warm, even with the fan on all night.
