It's the little touches that make this luxurious hotel exceptional. The car cleaning station. A backpack in the room and free lending of trekking poles. The snacks after lunch and cakes for Kaffee und Kuchen. The parting gift at the front desk. The tea timer at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, an outstanding Bayerische Frühstück provides a great start to the day no matter which of the myriad of nearby activities you choose. And the staff is always ready to provide friendly and helpful guidance in choosing the right one.

Another mountain, the Waxenstein, blocked our view of the Zugspitze. Please have it moved. :-) Seriously, we did not notice anything that diminished our experience.

Never before have we received such friendly care. The hotel with its rustic charm and luxurious décor and amazing staff really made us feel welcome. Whenever and wherever you go in Germany do try to include this very special hotel in your stay, you will not regret it for a moment. The spa facilities were also quite remarkable. And the dining experience was a true delight. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable, memories of this beautiful hotel will remain in our hearts for a very long time

The room was large and very furnished and decorated wuth a wonderful view of the mountains. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. We travel extensively in Europe, particularly, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Other than Brenner's Park in Baden-Baden this is truly a wonderful German Hotel. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had. We were taken back by the size and amenities at the Spa. We will be back. Lastly the staff was excellent.

The staff were so attentive and helpful. We were even upgraded before we arrived. The hotel was beautifully decorated and clean and felt very homely too. The spa facilities are amazing, with lots of options to try and many places to lie outside. We also had treatments, which were excellent. The location is good as it's close to a main square with restaurants and bus stops. Could not fault it.

place is fantastic. our room, bathroom and bed was pure luxury and breakfast was nice too. staff all super friendly

the only thing that isn’t major is no in-house laundry available. typical we needed clothes washed (we never use this on holiday) and was surprised not available and everything shut on Sunday. we did have to walk to our room which is located outside the hotel and it was dark when walking from bar to room for parts of the walk back to room (2 min walk)

I came to this hotel in August hotel has no A/C it was a big problem for me. The staff was great. Breakfast is amazing. Parking of car is good. Room is very simple maden by wood. Location very close to the market around 450 meter. I think we have to visit this place during winter or April or may

No A/C during summer time is a big problem.

We absolutely LOVED staying here and will highly recommend it to friends and business colleagues. The rooms are decorated with taste and very comfortable. We sat on our patio looking at the mountains...gorgeous view. Breakfast was exceptional and the staff in every area, wonderful! A must stay at!

Great facilities, lovely pool area and spa, and fantastic breakfast! We had a room in the annex which wasn’t great for us as it had sloping ceilings and we re tall! Bathroom was lovely though, loved the walk in shower! Overall great hotel and would stay again, in different room!

The pool and other spa facilities were amazing. We enjoyed a full day by the pool. The staff was extremely friendly in all areas and helpful. The location was great and views spectacular.

Was a bit uncomfortable with the heat but they did provide fans for us.

Wonderful hotel near center of Garmisch! The staff was always super friendly, we even got an upgrade to a suite which was very nice. The suite was located in the guest house next to the hotel and the room was new with a huge bathroom and clean. We also loved the breakfast buffet and the lunch buffet. everything was fresh and tasty! Also the outdoor spa area and pool were perfect!
