VERY CLEAN ROOM, SUPER COMFORTABLE BED, AWESOME BREAKFAST BUFFET, LOTS OF DINING AREAS, NICE VIEW, GOOD WATER PRESSURE IN SHOWER, LOTS OF TOWELS. BATHROPES AND FLIP FLOPS WERE PROVIDED. DAILY ROOM SERVICE. WELCOME PACKAGE FOR DOG.

THE ROAD UPHILL TO THE HOTEL IS HORRIBLE, LOTS OF POT HOLES AND PATCHES , SHOULD BE FIXED. THE PET RELEASES AREA HAD HIGH GRASS WITH MILLIONS OF TICKS. THE INDOOR POOL WATER WAS VERY COLD, DEFINITELY NOT HEATED. THE JACCUSI HAD NO HAND RAIL TO ENTER, WAS TOLD SOMEONE BROKE IT. ROOM HAD A SMALL FRIDGE BUT NOT COOLING. REPEATEDLY ASK FOR REPAIR BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. NO COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM RATHER THAN MICROWAVE. HAD TO ASK FOR EVERYTHING AT FRONT DESK, NO PHONE IN ROOM TO CALL FRONT DESK. NOT ENOUGH CLOSETS FOR TWO PEOPLE IN ROOM. HAD TO LIVE OUT OF SUITCASE. NO TRASH CANS ON OUTSIDE PROPERTY. ONLY ONE TRASH CAN IN THE PET RELEASE AREA.

Gorgeous location, with some trails right from the property and a restaurant with an outdoor patio where you can enjoy a drink or a meal and the outdoor beauty. Breakfast was a delicious German buffet with lots of options. If you have a car, it's a great place to explore the area.

Note you'll need a car to get here as it's a bit off the beaten path from town. You might also need some earplugs or to kindly negotiate with your neighbor if you want to sleep well - the walls are pretty thin, so it's easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. The gym is OK, you can get a workout in, but it's a hotel gym so it's a bit limited (there is a pool and spa as well).

The Breakfast was phenomenal. The bathrooms were quite large, the products were first class and rooms spacious. The spa was wonderful too. The staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel was super clean.

Some may find the rooms and decor a bit dated. If you are a larger guy, you may feel a little intimidated since the gowns stop at XL. They did not seems to cater for men bigger than this, and we asked twice, including on a day when most people had left. For a 4-star hotel, we had no tea or coffee making facilities in our bedroom, which we found strange. If they did have, we were unaware thereof as we weren't informed, and the room had no welcome booklet with details on what was on offer at the hotel.

Beautifully situated along a lake surrounded by mountains with a lakeside restaurant and a walking trail around the lake. The hotel facilities like the sauna, spa and pool were also wonderful. The food was good overall with the breakfast being a particular highlight. The hotel staff were also friendly and courteous. finally, we loved the bar area for a Cosy drink with some board games to keep us entertained.

the rooms are a bit dated and the bathroom feels a bit small. this makes it feel like the hotel isn't great value for money. while the location is beautiful, it is also slightly far away from the town center

This was an excellent getaway together with our dog. The staff were very nice, the breakfast and dinner were very yummy. Our dog was very happy with his welcome treats by the Hotel, it was very thoughtful to have 2 bowls for our dog too. The location is very nice and quiet. We did nice walks around the lake and went hiking too. Our room was really really nice, we chose a Maisonette room. It is highly recommended!

Not negative, just come comments. The light switch system was a little bit complicated for us to understand, maybe a paper guidance would be nice about this (e.g., on the wall). Also our room was divided by another room through a door, we could hear the people right next door, but in general we had a good night sleep and the room was quiet at night.

Perfect location, you have at walking distance (half hour) cable cars to Alpenspitz, nice and clean room and big swimming pool

Service at restaurant - waiting half hour just to get a bill to sign... And the weekend the restaurant was so full. On Thursday there was a nice large choice for dinner (even for side dishes), Friday it was significantly less and Saturday more or less the same, even re-cycling things from previous evening. Whirpool was "out of order" - at least it was written on

Such a wonderful hotel nestled in the hills. We made use of the pool, jacuzzi and sauna facilities, which were great. Our room was well sized with views over the town. The included breakfast was pleasant. Staff were very helpful.

Be mindful of the location- while secluded, it could be tricky to access if you don't have a car or aren't booked with a coach tour etc. The road that winds up the hill has a few potholes- nothing major, just a consideration.

The hotel is excellent for a quiet trip for snowboarding/skiing, it has very nice and comfortable rooms, the facilities are great, the breakfast is satisfying. The lounge area is very cosy, with a fire place and nice drinks from the bar. The wellness area is also nice, maybe a bit too small for all the guests on weekends.

Unfortunately, there are too few outside parking spots (as in the garage it’s 5 euro per day), but we managed to find a place every afternoon. The location is a bit far away from Garmisch itself, although a taxi is about 12-13 euros. And for the ski area we took our car every time.

I liked pretty much everything. Staff is very friendly, and they seemed happy to help. Our room was super comfortable with good bedding. Both Breakfast and Dinner were very good (you can book dinner and breakfast). The dinners we had were super tasty. Landscape around the hotel and overall location are fantastic. It has a lake by the alps with trails to walk. It’s a Great place for taking pictures. Amazing city views as well. It is close to many of the greatest landmarks of the region. I strongly recommend visiting the peak of Zugspitze, it’s amazing. You can buy the tickets at the hotel.

I don’t have any complaints, though I wish I had a room with a clearer view of the alps or of the city.

The food at this hotel is incredibly well presented whether for breakfast or evening meal, and is delicious. The staff are incredibly professional and efficient. We loved it and will return and stay longer next time.

I think the only niggle I had, and it was small, was that there were several corporate events on (very well managed) but we had to push through large groups drinking and smoking (which had congregated by the door to the bar) which felt a bit uncomfortable.
