Breakfast was excellent, staff did a great job to accommodate guests, food selection was great. Staff was very friendly.

When we arrived we sat on the patio and nobody came to get our drink order. When I went to get the drinks on our own, I was told we are getting served outside by the waiter staff which eventually happened. The shower in our room had mold on the tile molding that goes around the shower, the shower glass doors on the bottom have also mold or are very dirty. The drain cover is not fastened and comes off during showering. Worker crew started hammering early in the morning which made the stay experience not as pleasant as it could have been. Overall, the room was nice, the shower in specific needs some attendance. I wish I would have taken a picture, but when you have someone inspect it you will see what the issue is.

Location, view, room, food.

Cleaning tables at the buffet eating was always slow, we need to wait all the time for a table to be cleaned even if there were multiple empty, but dirty and nobody around to clean in time. Also we had to notify multiple time staff for cutlery and so on missing from tables. Even if they smile and said they will fix it immediately, it took multiple minutes all the time for easy tasks, sometime had to go for some table forks myself. Not sure if understaffed or just bad service...

The location is excellent and the view spectacular. All is correct, very good value for money. No complains whatsoever. Good food, plenty of choices. Ther is only one small issue, some of staff do not speak English and I do not speak German. I managed quite well but it will be nice if another international language like English, French or Spanish can be used, at least for written instructions.

Language skills of the staff since the location is not exclusively for German citizens.

Outstanding location - we stayed at the Seehaus part of the Riessersee hotel with the most fantastic view to the lake, forest and mountains. Very large room and good bed. Very nice spa area w. swimmingpool, 2 different saunas and a steam bath. Good ala carte restaurant and great breakfast. Best recommendations! 10/10

The TV in the room didn’t work but with the view to the mountains etc. it wasn’t a problem😊

Contrary to the staff of the reception of the hotel, one of the waitresses at the restaurant next to the lake was not very "nice". We had the feeling that we disturbed her and her service can be improved : she was not very helpful and we were surprised during our 2 diners with the difference in treatment between half board and people like us that just booked a room.

The room and facilities were great. Good Breakfast Friendly and helpful staff. Important info: We first booked the room at the Seehaus Riessersee Hotel, which is building next to the small lake. Although the room was as expected we asked to move to the Riessersee Hotel - main building as all facilities (reception, breakfast room, spa, etc.) are there. The receptionists were very helpful, complied with our request and switched our room to the main building and even upgraded us to very nice room.

The hotel was well organised and everything was clearly explained. The pool was lovely and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was magnificent, lake and mountains.

The room was not a suite, which we thought we had booked, it was lovely though. When we checked with the hotel they explained the photos on booking.com were samples only and not of the actual room, something not made clear on the Booking.com site.

The location is fabulous and very quiet. The breakfast was very good, and we had all types of food available - cold and warm, sweet and savoury. Would definitely go again.

The room was not modern but still had its charm. The room was a bit cold especially if you needed to visit the bathroom during the night.

Wonderful hotel. The hotel is located next to the small lake and surrounded by forest and mountains. Only few minutes driving from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen center. The rooms are very big , clean and comfortable. The breakfeast is very good.

amazing location, on the lake. free shuttle available to Garmisch-Classic or it’s only about 29 minutes walk through beautiful country side (not recommended at night as paths are unlit).
