Great hotel, great staff. The restaurant was very good too, we did the half board option with breakfast and evening meal and the food at both was of a high standard. I dont think the pictures actually do the place justice, the decor in the restaurant is excellent and the drinks menu was quite extensive. We travelled with a 2 & 4 year old and they absolutely loved the kids pool, we didn't miss not being able to go in the adult only pool as the indoor pool, jacuzzi and kids pool were great. Also the crazy golf and outdoor kids play area were very good. We didnt realise they were there so was a pleasant surprise. Good parking facilities underground.

We didnt realise the main pool was adult only but wasn't an issue in the end. The room wasnt ideal for young kids. My 2 year old tripped and fell down a step twice before we had to rearrange the furniture to prevent it happening again. its a bit of a hazard in the night especially but does look stylish. The area was a bit isolated, not really walking distance but they do run a shuttle to the center. Finally the sofabed had a lot of exposed metal at the sides. My daughter again hurt her knee on it climbing on and off the bed and It needs covering over with something soft to avoid injuries. The slide door to the bathroom area also really needs a lock

My wife felt like a princess when we got there. The hotel is luxury all the way. Completely loved it. Did not realize that meals were included when I booked. Total bonus!!

The building was only a year old but the ac in the room would not cool it down. The night was cool so we were ok by opening the patio door, but the ac should have worked better. It was 25 C when we arrived and after 5 hours of running in a small room, it only got to 23 C. This was disappointing.

Breakfast was very good with a lot of options, beautiful location - we were lucky enough to get snow during our stay, shuttle bus was available to takes us around the town, great room with balcony with the view for mountains and creek. Reception was able to book our day trip to Zugspitze. The saunas and pools were amazing experience, we had fun on the games room and other facilities on the complex. Most of the staff spoke fluent English. Every night they provide a card to scan, so you can win a free drink on the bar or get free drink recipe. Breakfast and dinner included on the room charge, both delicious!

Some stuff were a little unfriendly and rude. The building configurations was a little confusing, and the instructions was unclear - we got lost trying to find our room and the facilities.

Hotel staff had respectful, professional, friendly manner. Breakfast had very good variety of healthy choices especially with fresh juice. we liked light lunch buffet and delicious dinner menue. Our room was super clean and comfortable. Spa center with saunas and pool were quite relaxing and recharging. Thanks alot for great service

Pillows were too soft and uncomfortable which is minor comment. Also, it would be great if soft drink or at least water provide for free in room/ restaurant. Every thing else was excellent

The view was outstanding from the our own balcony! We were able to enjoy the scenery on the nice chairs they provided there. The room was spacious, clean and had it's own thermostat for heating and AC; and the shower was very nice. The food service people were excellent! They were of all nationalities but all had a nice smile, were quite patient and helpful, and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. There was underground parking which was perfect. We would highly recommend this establishment to anyone!

The front desk goofed when we called for a courtesy pick-up from the train station and they forgot to relay that information to the driver; so we sat for 45 minutes instead of 15. One 'oops' in a 3 day stay.

We arrived past midnight (because Garmiche-Partenkirchen is 2 hours train from Munich airport - getting a train for 60 euros RETURN is far better than an airport-transfer or taxi for nearly 300 euros EACH WAY). When we arrived, we were greeted really warmly, offered food, drinks an they even made some gluten-free stuff for our kids. The room was pretty large - had lots of facilities and beautiful views of the (snowy) mountains. Breakfast was fantastic, loads of options - and amusingly, lots of machines with precision-german-engineering to do things like cut your butter for you, make fresh pancakes etc. Whilst there - we used the free shuttle service to take us around - and we have to give a shout out to Winifred, who knows all the hidden gems of G-P - took us to a tobogganing hill with the hotels loaned toboggans where we spent the day enjoying the snow. Really nice guy! Dinner was also great - a new menu each evening, with very finely presented plates ('northen european' food is normally fairly bland looking). We used the pool which had a great mixture of things for adults and kids to enjoy - it also has a full spa for the adults and also a 'games room' with pool, air-hockey, darts, arcade machines - basically, everything a family could want. It's a better 4* hotel than a some 5* hotels I have been to. G-P is a charming little town (helped by the blanket of snow), the Christmas market was somewhat small, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. It's about the mountains really - would definitely consider returning.

It's fairly expensive, but it's half-board and we needed a family room so not really a complaint.

Best breakfast we had in Germany, fresh, high quality of food. Perfect service in the restaurant. Beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony. Very clean room. The spa facilities are excellent. We loved swimming in the outdoor pool.

Very high bed, not comfortable. Soft mattress and pillows. The hotel is far away from the centre. We couldn't go for a walk after dinner.

We had been there before the pandemic and loved much. So we came again. All staff is polite and heplful. Hotel was renovated and very clean. Rooms are cosy and comfortable. Spa and pool area are nice. Food is perfect like a fine dining restaurant. You can find everything you want and more for breakfast. If you are planing a holiday at Garmisch, this hotel is definitely the best.
