Hotel Quellenhof

Great place for a night or two. This nice little place was only 30 minutes from Oberammergau and close to the main roads. We were able to arrange a check in outside of the normal hours which helped us to enjoy the day, but arrived much later at night. We were able to see GP, and go to Linderhof too. The parking lot was a bit tight, being one of the last cars to return in the evening but it worked. The hotel is just like the description, a little dated, but still very nice rooms. We would stay here again.

The water in the shower took a long, long, time to get hot.

decent hotel. good for a night. some spots look very old, but our room was clean and beds were comfortable. bathroom was newly renovated. clean room. staff was helpful but sometimes not available. the only bad thing was that the reception area closes off at 9pm till morning. so you can’t really contact anyone if you need anything in the room. didn’t try breakfast so can’t comment on that. location is great, only 10 minutes walk to the train station. overall a comfortable accommodation.

-Its exactly the same thing in the picture,like furnitures,its modern. -Room is wide,big bed, with sofa and extra 2 chairs also. With balcon in front of a mountain blick -Staffs are friendly. -I love the buffet breakfast for only €10. -Easy access to all transpo. -daily room cleaning (optional and free)

-quiet expensive but worth it -No early check in. 15:30 is the earliest time we got in. So we still waited. -the staff ask me for room payment when we check out,even though i paid it 2 months earlier thru paypal. I got a little bit nervous. But its ok, he managed to settle it. I understand sometimes its happened because of technology problem(maybe?)

Nice place to stay if you want to visit Eibsee or/and Zugspitze. The room in the hotel was perfectly clean and the location of the hotel is not bad at all. The Eibsee bus stops very close to the hotel and also the village of Grainau is very beautiful. We took the bus to Eibsee and after that on the way back we walked down which I recommend highly due to the breathtaking scenery.

Staff was very helpful. A small issue with the Television was corrected quickly . Breakfast was excellent. Overall, Great value for the price.

Hotel was partly under construction. Was not let know. Wellness facilities do not exist but were advertised.

have to ask for water cooker at receptionist, bedroom wasn't cleaned every day and bathroom also not thoroughly cleaned. receptionist doesn't open early so need to inform the day before about your leaving

Incredible terrace and mountain views! A 20-minute walk away is the Alpspitze ski lift, a great place to visit if there are no clouds. Free parking is available near the hotel. Breakfast for an additional fee. There are supermarkets approximately 10 minutes' walk away. The administrators are very polite, they will answer all questions. We rented a kettle and mugs and a few tea bags. The room is clean and comfortable, there is a refrigerator.

I have been twice to this hotel now, once in summer, and once during winter. Both times the hotel was great. Rooms are big, and the balcony makes them during summer even bigger. If you choose a room with 'mountain view' the view is really impressive in the morning. Besides that the hotel has a good location. If you want to visit some hot spots in the area, you can do it by bike or even walk.

Room was available at less price compared to others at last moment. Staff is very helpful and helped us to plan our trip. Also provided guest ticket to use in local buses. Location is very good. Near to bus stop and 5 min walk to train station.

Check-in time is very late.

Cooperative staff. We loved the loft apartment and balcony view. Space. Little old but great people and we were well treated. Bed was comfortable and has a nice quite time

Lift did not work. But we got help with luggage to go up. So it's ok Good value for money overall
