For the value, they had generous sized rooms, very well kept with excellent comfortable beds and bathroom. Breakfast had a great selection with tasty hot items and cold items available to suit all needs. Host was very pleasant and cordial to talk to from the moment we booked months in advance to meeting them in person. For the airport transfer, he made an effort to communicate the pick-up time and location. Appreciated the large and comfortable van service back to the airport next day as well. Although very close to FRA airport, the hotel location is a bit remote from FRA town itself but with a bit of advance planning you could probably easily get some suitable transit. With our limited time, we chose to walk around the immediate local area which was fun, just don't expect to see or do much as it is in a quiet suburb. We would return again without hesitation if we had long layovers in FRA in the future.

Unfortunately, although we arranged via the hotel an airport transfer, it didn't go as planned. Depending on the airport terminal you arrive in, plan in advance the pick up or better yet take an airport taxi directly to the hotel. Unless you have mobile/cell service to communicate directly with the hotel transfer, it may become challenging to find and meet at the pick-up point. Basically, don't expect the driver to wait for more than 10 mins at the pick-up point as Frankfurt airport has a limited pick-up time window and imposes fines on hotel transfer services if they go beyond that. If you get a room on the 3rd floor, keep in mind you may have to carry your luggage up and down the flight of steps as there is no elevator. The host however, may offer to help you as he did for us.

Check in went smoothly and the employee, who speaks 6 languages, was friendly and helpful in suggesting locations for shopping and dining. The room was modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I particularly like the hotel's proximity to Frankfurt airport. Because the hotel is located in a residential neighborhood and the availability of parking on the street seemed sparse, I'm glad I reserved a parking spot in the hotel's lot. There are 5 spaces for customers at a fee of 8 Euros. I also paid to include their breakfast, which is convenient and starts early so that guests can get on their way.

Their breakfast is adequate, but I had much better breakfasts at other hotels in Germany.

I was pleasantly surprised to find an outstanding Free breakfast buffet in the lowest floor. This is an exceptionally clean hotel and the staff were personable, knowledgeable and friendly. They also dropped what they were doing and drove meFREE to their family restaurant nearby, whereI got an excellent dinner at a fair price, then took me back to the hotel after I ate. Bed was very good, big A/C unit in the ceiling did the job right and the big screen TV offered Over40 channels. Bathroom door refused to lock but I was alone anyway and I actually found a bit of dust behind the coffee maker, but the rest of my room was simply immaculate. I enthusiastically recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a $66 single room . I am booked here AGAIN in 6 weeks because this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. WELL DONE, Tommasi! You prove there are still Inn Keepers who actually care about their reputation.

I honestly don’t think I would have changed a thing. My little room even had a balcony!

The host was very friendly and helpful. He helped direct us into our parking spot and carried our heavy bags up to and down from the room. The breakfast was really good, and they accommodated my need for gluten free with a separate bread and muffin. The hotel has ac, which was necessary for very hot weather while we were there. The hotel was not far from the airport, although we were actually not going to the airport.

Having an elevator might have been nice, but not really necessary for us.

We travel a lot, needed a hotel in the FRA vicinity and this popped up in the search. At first I was skeptical but decided to trust the ratings. It exceeded any of our expectations. Rooms are super clean and well equipped (coffeemaker AND water boiler for tea). It's a family-owned business, run by an Italian family who also owns the Tommasi restaurant. The hotel is about a 5min drive from the hotel, free shuttle service is offered if needed. EVERYBODY is so nice and accommodating. For instance, we decided last minute to also bring our little dog. So they had to move us to different rooms and did so without discussion. Then, since one in our party has a gluten intolerance, I brought our own pasta to the restaurant. Not only did they prepare the pasta for us, the refused to charge us for the gluten-free meal since we brought our own pasta. Wow. Food at the restaurant is good, I say stick with the pasta/pizza dishes, they are excellent. Hotel is super quiet as it is in a small town just 15 minutes away from the airport. Oh, did I mention that they offer shuttle service to the airport (I believe it is EUR 30 for up to 6 people), in a super nice car and in our case, driven by the owner of the hotel himself.... We certainly will make this our go-to hotel when we are in the area.

The place by far exceeded my expectations! Excellent value for money. Staff is fabulous and extremely attentive. Rooms have lovely urban views, comfy beds, large showers and - the best - coffee makers!! For an airport hotel it´s a little tucked away but if you have time (or money for a shuttle bus ;)), it´s the best place to stay for hopping on an airplane the next day. Highly recommended!

Heavy smoker occupying the balcony of the neighboring room. I had to close my door to the balcony whenever he went there for a smoke. Disgusting.

We stayed here for an early flight. The hotel was clean, shower was storong and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in a room with a balcony. We don't smoke but it's ideal for smokers as well. Ask for a room with a balcony. We were three adults and there weren't many hotels that provided three adults to stay in one room but Tomassi does. We used shuttle service to the airport and it was convenient and fast. Nothing more to ask.

Very good breakfast, spacious, clean rooms, nice bathrooms, lots of electrical outlets for charging. Staff was very friendly and gave us very good advice on transportation options. Arranged an airport taxi for us.

I wish there had been a small refrigerator in our room. Looks like there used to be one, but it was probably removed during COVID for some reason. Our friend in another room had one. It would also be nice to have an airport car shuttle service, which I understand they normally have but are not running now due to COVID. Perfectly understandable under the circumstances, and they were able to set up a fixed-rate taxi to the airport that was reasonably priced. Train would also be an option, but from Moerfelden you need to switch and it would have taken about 50 minutes vs. 20 minutes by taxi. About 1 km walk to train station. Bus to station / Darmstadt 3 blks away.

Front desk very helpful, booked parking reservation few days ahead of arrival. Gave great instructions. Friendly. Place was spotless and very efficient modern hotel with air conditioning. Would not hesitate to book again. Only 20 minutes from hotel to returning rental car at airport.

Nothing PERFECT!

The only down side was the rather surly receptionist. He was definitely not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. He obviously would rather have been somewhere else.

The receptionist. Zero customer facing skills. If I were the undercover owner I would have sacked him on the spot.
