Hotel in the city center, close to the train station, convenient location. Fresh renovation, the rooms have a pleasant smell, there is no plaque in the shower, friendly staff and delicious coffee. It is very nice that there are Haribo gummy bears in the room for customers.

There are a lot of Russian channels with Russian propaganda in the rooms on TV, this morning I turned on the TV and listened to Russia talk about how well it is conducting aggression in Ukraine. Guys please fix this. I am from Ukraine and this is not acceptable for me

Everything was wonderful. My room facing the courtyard was extremely clean, peaceful and cozy. Everything in the room was just like in the photos on the website and more. The design was chic and functional with clean lines. Room had a small balcony to have fresh air all through the day and very efficient heating system if needed. The location terrific with the tram just in the front street, very close to U-Bahns and a lot of cafes supermarkets and pharmacies nearby. The lobby staff performed very professionally with the check-in handled promptly and smoothly. They were always very polite, helpful and comforting to meet every morning. The lovely cleaning ladies organized needs with smiling positive vibes. Since I had a considerably long stay of 14 nights it was like my own home in Munich making me feel safe and secure. The location is excellent. Close to many attractions and it’s near the transportation hubs. The rooms are well arranged. We have an interconnected family room, which has a nice small seating area. The room is not big, but it’s spacious enough for a short stay. The beds are comfy and the AC works perfectly.

The hotel is next to the tram route. Even though the room is sound-proofed and it’s on the high floor, one can still hear the tram, which ran 24-hours despite less frequent during midnight to early morning. Highly recommend to pack some ear plugs for a more restful sleep.

Everything was perfect in Augusten Hotel. The room was very clean, the temperature in the room was ideal, and it provided all someone would need for a convenient and pleasant stay. Just in the center of Munich, a few minutes walk to the Central train station (Hauptbahnhof) and to Marienplatz, with a lot of cafe's and restaurants nearby . The stuff was very friendly, pleasant,helpful 24/7 and they all showed patience with my German, which I wanted to practice! Great value for money, highly recommended!❤️

There wasn't anything that I didn't like

Clean and spacious room very close to the city. Breakfast was superb and the front desk was ever so helpful. The room was kept clean daily. I really liked the shower gel pump, mini fridge and bottles of water in the room.

There was an electric fan but an airco would have been nice. The fan makes a noise. Our room was facing the main street with a tram which runs way after midnight. We were awoken by the tram and people on the streets. Really didn't mind the city noise but if you're looking for a quiet night's rest; better opt for a room in the back.

Fantastic location with a tram stop right next to the hotel and just a few minutes walk from the Central Station. The hotel will look after your bags free of charge before and after checking in so makes it a brilliant place for a city break.

Breakfast was a bit limited and was very ‘continental’ but perfectly nice. Some people have moaned about the tram noise but it didn’t really bother us and was a trade off for the convenience of having a tram stop right outside taking you straight into the Historic town center.

Very friendly staff. The room was sizeable and very comfortable. We had an end room so got two windows so lots of daylight in the room. This was our second time staying in the hotel and it met all our expectations. About a 6 minute walk from the central train station. Modern clean rooms. Gladly stay there again when in town.

We didn't partake in the breakfast because it was too expensive. If it was about 7-8 euros a person we would have done that each morning. Instead we went to the train station for coffee/donuts, etc.

It was a pleasant stay with quite enough space in the room for 2 persons. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location: just 5 min to the central station and 15 min to the Marienplatz. A lot of restaurants in the area.

I'd like to have an opportunity to have tea or coffee in the room - it was only water provided. Also doors in the shower need to be updated: there is a big gap between them and a lot of water could be on the floor under taking shower. Very smooth pillows - wasn't so good for my neck.

Our party arrived around midnight and had a very pleasant & hassle free check-in. The common areas, rooms and bathrooms were very clean and well-lit with sensor activated lights. The hotel feels like a safe place to be staying at. Luggage storage after check-out is an added bonus. A short few minutes' walk from the München Hauptbahnhof. Highly recommended.

Small quibble. Our rooms were not on the same floor.

The hotel was super clean and freshly renovated. The furnishing are nearly new and comfortable. Internet was fast and well protected. There's a great little bakery across the street and the main train station is within close walking distance.

The staff are somewhat gruff. The continental breakfast is overpriced when you can get better pastries, breads, coffee, and juice across the street. The rest of the neighborhood is just a little gritty, but it felt safe and open for tourists.
