Room is very clean and calm. Lokation is so good for traveller, 5 minuts from main railwaystation, cloused to Pinakotek and center of the city. Staff is very professional and friendly. The breakfast is very tasty, guests have possibility for tea and coffe during staying.

The hotel is well located: near the train station and about 20 minutes easy walk to Marienplatz. It’s easy to get to and from the airport via the Lufthansa bus which leaves about 5 minutes from the hotel. It’s also very close to the drop off point for many rental car companies: just around the corner. There is a great Italian restaurant over the road. Our room (601) was bigger than most and for a hotel room was reasonably spacious. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. We were able to drop our bags when we arrived much earlier than check in time. We enjoyed the courtyard which was green and pleasant. Breakfast was generous and there are snacks and coffee/tea available in the foyer all day. Highly recommended.

Great location: 10 mins walking to the Hauptbanhof (Nord), 20 mins - to Marienplatz, good eateries nearby (like two pizzerias just across the street, etc.). Clean and well equipped room and bathroom, Pretty good breakfast: scrambled eggs, porridge, choice of several cold meats, tomatoes, cucumber, musli, several kinds of yogurt, fresh croissants and mini-muttons, choice of coffee (espresso, cappucino, et al.), fruits. The only "defficiency" was that offer of scrambled eggs was not accompanied by fried bacon or sausages, but being in Munich you won't be short of opportunities to eat sausages (wurst) :)

The only issue that we could complain was the "complicated" A/C control panel: all our "trial and error" attempts to figure out how to switch it on/off ended in nothing.... succesfull results seemed to occur only by chance :). Since the weather was not that warm, plus our windows were facing inner courtyard, we managed just fine with an open window.

The staff! We stayed at the property three different times over two weeks as we traveled in and out of Munich and the location was perfect for us. It was primarily Richard and Maria who helped us and they could not have been nicer or more professional. It is a busy hotel but they worked hard and kept everything flowing seamlessly. They were able to keep our extra luggage in between visits which was a big help. We enjoyed the location, the courtyard and the provided beverages. This hotel really offers some nice extras. Also, it was amazingly quiet for such a central location.

The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side but that is to be expected in an older hotel. The hotel we are staying in now has an even smaller bathroom.

Fairly central location close to the main railway station about a 15 minute stroll into the centre of Munich. Well appointed room with large comfortable bed. A 'green' policy is in place where how often the room is cleaned or towels and bedding changed left to the occupants. No restaurant or bar at the hotel but a limited selection of drinks available from reception. Free coffee etc available next to reception 24hrs. A very nice buffet breakfast provided in the mornings with a comprehensive choice. On site parking available but a limited number of spaces so pre-booking strongly advised.

The hotel and staff and room and breakfast were all first class. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again if we visit Munich in the future. The location was an easy walk from the main train station. It was also an easy walk to the main center of town with tons of restaurants and shopping and tourist sites.

We stayed 2 nights twice in one week. The first 2 nights (Mon/Tue) we stayed in room 601 and all was perfect. The second 2 nights (Fri/Sat) we stayed in room 115. The room was smaller and arranged differently. But the real problem was the beautiful low hanging carved wooden canopy over the queen size bed. Anyone six feet tall could/would bump their head going to and from the bed during the day but especially at night in the dark. It was dangerous and we wrapped a bath towel over it to warn of or soften the danger. We spoke to the desk person (who was at least six feet tall) on our last morning and were told the beautiful wood canopy was a signature part of the King's hotel. He then downplayed the danger and said I looked just fine and wasn't injured.

This is a 3-star hotel but nonetheless, I gave it a 10 for what it is. The only 10 star I've given on our multi-city European trip. The lobby is beautiful, with a wood ceiling, granite panels, and a small but comfy lobby. The outdoor patio was filled with trees & plants, lots of comfortable seating & tables. This is all quietly placed in the middle of the hotel lobby area away from the street. Our room wasn't huge but big enough for two. There was a small fridge with a few bottles of beer/water gratis. Good Wifi, AirCon, quiet room. It was very close to the train station--a short walk--then about 10-15 min walk into Old Town. Staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a 24 hours coffee machine, fresh fruit and water stations in the lobby area, too. A really good value and very close to the train station.

The short walk from the train station was through a couple of excessively litter-filled streets, with a lot of people just hanging out. We weren't bothered, and not the hotel's fault, but we were a little concerned upon our first impression. However, the hotel made up for this and once we arrived and the street it's on is fine. The area seems safe and lively with plenty of open shops and cafes.

Good location for walking distance into centre of Munich. Liked water, fruit and coffee available in reception area. Rooms are on the smaller side, and although the courtyard is pleasant, there’s no other real lounge areas if the weather isn’t warm/dry. Small bar area with vending machine and self service coffee area. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There are 2 buildings. Rooms at front are older and air con doesn’t work very well. Due to be updated at end of 2923. Rooms at back are in newer block and have updated air con system.

Car park is very small and you can’t reserve. There is multi storey just a couple of doors down, which charges 30 euros/24 hours which is very expensive.

Friendly welcome from staff at reception. Room was well appointed, spotlessly clean with large comfy bed and perfectly sized bathroom shower area. Good WiFi signal in the room. The guys working the breakfast room were really friendly and helpful giving a nice start to my day. I organised myself excursions by train to Neuschwanstein and Salzburg, so the location of the hotel was perfect for Munich central station. The old historic town center was really easy to get to at around 10 minutes walk away. Real gem of a hotel and would definitely recommend.
