Sure Hotel by Best Western Muenchen Hauptbahnhof

The location is just opposite the Central Station and there is also an underpass that leads to the station. Quite a few food options nearby! Walking distance to Old Town. Reception staff is welcoming and friendly. The room is spacious and clean.

The family room that we booked is on the 7th floor but the lift only goes up to 6th, so we got to climb 2 flight of stairs (not advisable for old folks or those with heavy luggages). No water boiler in the room (Has a coffee machine instead and you can ask the reception staff to boil some water for you). The bathroom may be slippery, esp as you have to stand in the bathtub to shower.

The room was nice and clean, the location is in front of the train station, easy to move around and near the center. The breakfast was good, not the best, but complete enough.

We arrive early in the morning, I wanted to do the check-in even if I couldn't have the key, but have it ready, but they didn't allow it. They held the luggage, nevertheless. By 3 pm (check-in hour) there were a lot of people in line to do the check-in and took half an hour just to arrive at the desk. For us, thanks to booking, they had it ready, so it was 1 minute. However, it wasn't nice the waiting, that we could just avoid it in the morning. Another thing that could have improved our stay is to have an electric water heater in the room for some tea.

For the price we paid it was a bargain. Location is the gem here, walkable distance to the main station and many shops nearby including a next door covid PCR test center which for a traveler required a test before flight like me, it was a plus. The room is small but still manage to move around. The staffs are friendly and helpful to most of our questions about the city and surrounding.

The room is a bit cold when it was snowing. Lift is small and if you have a bigger luggage can be a pain.

The position, near commercial places, near tramway metro, easy to get to city centre. The room is confortable and clean. Restroom access and luggage storage before and after your stay. Polite and friendly staff, works quickly.

The hotel had baggage checked in, but it's just a formality and it wasn't secured in the storage room. Everything is fine but when there are a lot of people, it's hard to find a place to put your things. And everyone can easily enter that room without any verification

The location was right next to Lufthansa bus stop from airport and across the road from rail station. I'm a walker and so all attractions for shopping , parks, (recommend English garden and walk along river), restaurants within 30 -60 mins. Large beer garden 15 minutes walk as you exit hotel and turn right. Aldi and Lidle close by for day time snacks etc. Breakfast was good with choice of hot and cold. The staff helpful polite and cheerful

The room was rather small but that is always relative if you are single and travel a lot.

The hotel was good. It was walking distance to the train station, bus station, hop on hop off bus, Marienplatz and other downtown attractions. The Lufthansa airport bus came and went in front of the hotel. The breakfast was good and sufficient. A room was a room. The level of cleanliness was good. The staff was helpful when needed. You can find good places to eat very close to the hotel. The hotel was as expected. The price-quality ratio was good.

We went to the hotel bar and it didn't really work out. No one came to serve.

Great location, right next to the train station. We were particularly grateful to be so close considering that our train was delayed for two hours, which meant an eight hour journey from Paris. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was good and the breakfast was delicious and convenient - 12.5 euros per person when we stayed. We walked to the Munich Lego store (highly recommended!) and also to a VR history tour. We also walked to the coach for our day trip to Neuschwanstein Schloss - the main reason we came to Munich. 24 hour reception made it easy to arrive late, with no issues. We also enjoyed the decor. It is nice to see a hotel with a bit of character, instead of the usual blandness.

Not a major problem for us, but slightly strange...the hotel has seven floors but the lift only goes to level 6. Considering how many stairs we have dragged our bags up and down as we travel through Europe, it wasn't an issue - just a little unusual.

Best location beside the main station and the Lufthansa airport bus 20 paces outside. The furnishings were adequate for the price considering it was central Munich on a May holiday weekend. Room was a good size and clean.

Very few facilities in room. No kettle, tea, TV instructions, hotel information, air conditioning or BBC or CNN. The only English language news came from France and Turkey! Had to have the window open for fresh air which is very noisy right beside the station. The room was on the 7th floor but the lift stopped at the 6th. Would have expected a better room as it was booked 4 months before by myself as a level 3 B.C reviewer. Still, location can't be beat.

Excellent location just across from the central train station / U-bahn/ S-bahn, especially for those who plan to travel in other cities/ destinations too by train. With 10-15 minute walk you can be in Marienplatz. We stayed in "family room" with 2 separated by a door spaces (2+1 single beds and 1+1 WC) on the 7th floor. The room was clean with enough spaces.

A clean and comfortable hotel, two minutes' walk from the central railway station. Double bed, TV, warm, shower (no bath), hairdryer. Basic, but sufficient. The room rate was €90 a night, so I'll let you decide whether you think that's good value.

I would have expected the BBC World Service on the TV, but no. I would have expected breakfast to be included, but no. But in all honesty these are minor quibbles. I went to Munich to visit the city, and the hotel was very convenient for that. I would certainly be willing to stay in this hotel again in the future.
