DO & CO Hotel München

excellent location, friendly staff, new property, everything was grate

the parking is not really reachable you should stop at a meeting point and call hotel staff. to be honest, they really friendly and coming quickly with a permit, then you drive to the next point (close to hotel entrance) ant leave the car. taking car back is the same: asking reception and awaiting while they bringing it to the meeting point. sometimes it not comfortable, since you drive through a pedestrian area.

My only very slight criticism was the lack of a door into shower area. I’d prefer a more enclosed space. Also the night light that came on automatically did not go off and I had to cover with a pillow

We had booked a superior room - which was just a little over our usual ‘budget’. But, when we arrived we’d been given a free double upgrade. The room was absolutely fabulous; staff helpful and a perfect location close to the main square. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and I have high standards.

So many things to rave about our DO&CO hotel stay! 1. The room was comfortable, clean, up to date, had great views of New Town Hall, and the shower was amazing! Probably the best hotel stay my husband and I have ever had. 2. Melissa at the front desk was truly one of our highlights of staying here. She was extremely helpful, kind, and friendly - we really felt like she cared about our stay and making us feel at home, even if it was only for two nights. 3. The hotel is at a prime location. Right next to New Town Hall, the Munich Cathedral, and tons of stores/shops and restaurants. It’s also walking distance to the train station (15 min walk) and rental car pick-up. 4. We signed up for the breakfast package and it was totally worth it. The bistro was quiet both days (we’re also early risers) and the food was (chef’s kiss). Overall, great hotel to stay at in Munich. We will absolutely be returning to DO&CO when traveling through Munich.

The blinds in our room were off track on a few windows and they’re on a switch (electric automated up and down) so there wasn’t anything we could do. A minor flaw in a nearly flawless hotel stay.

Complimentary coffee or breakfast would be an added bonus. We had a cappuccino and a croissant for breakfast that were very good, but at a cost. The main restaurant breakfast we skipped, so I cannot comment on it. There is a Nespresso coffee maker in the room that allows for two cups, which if you're like me, two cups just isn't enough for two people. I appreciate the gesture, but do it well or don't do it.

The mini bar was very well stocked, however it was also very expensive. There was not a way to enjoy a water or beverage at night without paying for it, paying much for it. Complimentary beverages should be a priority with a hotel of this caliber. The size of the room was adequate, there were not many places to place luggage. The shower gels and shampoos were very small and not restocked daily as should be required. There is a laundry service offered, however once again very expensive. The hotel is in a prime location, which is what they have going for them, they lack in other areas. Most of the staff was friendly, however some were persnickety and pretentious.

Everything about this hotel was amazing!!! The reviews I read prior to booking were spot on in regards to location. Centrally located, the tourists' attractions were only minutes away from your hotel. I missed my hop on hop off bus tour, I managed to walk to most of the sites listed on the tour. Food in the hotel is so good 😊 Mini bar, make your drinks in the comfort of your room until you step out later. You have everything you need at this establishment.....Really enjoyed my time there!!! I am looking forward to visiting again soon.

Fabulous, modern hotel in a perfect location. The room was beautifully appointed with very modern finishes and lovely shower. The mini-bar was gorgeous with everything available.

No fresh air - unable to open window due to noise and smoke. The air conditioner was totally ineffective, resulting in very poor sleep due to intense heat. Even when setting at the lowest temperature it made no difference notwithstanding the fact that this was brought to hotel's attention.

The hotel was located right in the center of the city near all the main shopping and restaurants. The metro station next door made it super easy for us to get to the airport for an early morning flight. The staff were super friendly going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The facility does not have a gym but they partner with a gym around the corner which is super nice, and has sauna and steam room. Would highly recommend this hotel!! We ate at both restaurants and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food!

Thoughtful Room Details: Room Brightness, enough plug and play electric points, large mirror, Glamorous Mini Bar with fine Glassware and accessories The Staff : Friendly and always there to help!! Wonderfiul Outdoor Extension to the Restaurants, both Terrace and into the Rear Courtyard respectively

The divided Mattress on a double bed with a Common topper (Thankfully) .. wish the Mattress was a single large one. The bathroom needs a door or frosting on the shower door in case the people sharing have privacy comcerns
