What a fantastic hotel, we had a nice view from the 9th floor, a great sized room which was clean and very comfortable. Pool area is small but nice and clean and a good place to relax. The staff throughout the hotel were fantastic and went over and above to help. Breakfast is fantastic! Something for everyone there. The hotel is slightly out of Munich but beside the english garden which it’s perfect. Plenty of ways to get into Munich from hotel, taxi rank outside, bus stop or you can hire a bike or e scooter.

Only thing we didn’t like is we had no seats on our balcony.

The hotel is in a nice location next to the English gardens, slightly outside of the city centre but with good public transport. The rooms are a good size and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was really enjoyable. We got room service the first night as we arrived quite late and it was good.

On the Saturday morning we were trying to go downstairs to breakfast at about 9. The first 5/6 lifts that came were full. In the end I tried to walk down the stairs to the lobby but the door was locked. I don't see the purpose of keeping this door locked. This seems like a fire hazard. The room we stayed in was an adjoining room. We could hear our neighbours (a young family) quite clearly. I think the sound was coming through the door, probably not an issue for most guests.

The staff were excellent, very helpful and very friendly. The food from the ground floor bar was very well presented, the steak and Bavarian Whisky were superb and the bar staff provided a very good service. The view is fantastic from the higher floors. Executive lounge good in the evening for snacks etc. Room very clean. Good location.

There was no mini bar in the room, and the fridge was empty. The mattress was very hard. No breakfast type items apart from fruit in the executive lounge in the morning. Had to pay to park in the hotel car park...

Great location at the English Garden! Very nice room (executive) and got a room in a very high floor on request. Breakfast very good, enjoyed to sit outside at the Eisbach. The executive lounge is good for a drink/snack in the evening but not more, probably also of interest if you have not booked breakfast and can get a small one there.

The balconies look a little sad and could be easily renovated to complement and add much value to the overall look and feel of the rooms (mine was to the west/park which was great). It is a pity that the roof terrace (and also the big dining room in floor 15) is not open to hotel guests, as it seems they are only opened to conference groups/meetings etc. If changed, this would really make it the perfect hotel in Munich especially in summer!!!!

I missed a flight connection in Munich so my overnight stay was a surprise. The friendly front desk staff made me feel at home. The gentleman who helped me (from Turkey, he said), even treated me to a drink coupon for the bar which I used later that evening to taste local whiskey, which made my night! Breakfast was delicious (loved the pretzel and cheese and range of sausages). Bed was comfortable. The proximity to the park was brilliant. I walked for hours and enjoyed the location tremendously!

Not directly hotel related, but I was shocked by how expensive cabs were to and from the Munich airport. It would be great to identify alternate transportation to your brillliant hotel that didn't cost more than a night's stay!

Perfect pre wedding weekend with lovely romantic decorations and great room service. Thank you for those lovely people who prepared our room! It was very special!

inform yourself ahead of time to see how much breakfast costs ! 28€ per person is a lot. We walked to the breakfast and they wrote our room number down on a paper. On the check-out we had like 10 breakfast booked on our room. Luckily they believed us and we did not have pay for those. But imagine if we would have had to.Then the holiday would have been ruined.

The personnel is great (Lars was very helpful and positive), location is unbelievable. Public transportation is excellent, in front of the hotel you can get on the buses to the city center or metro stations or you can enjoy a great walk in the English Garden

Breakfast was very crowded, the sound insulation from the corridor was not good, and we heard all voices from outside of the room. The balcony was not like a balcony it was interesting, in my opinion, this hotel is beautiful and deserves better balconies to experience an excellent English Garden view from the room.

this hotel became old and is needed to be modernized, bathrooms amenities old fashioned( not for 5 star hotels), Gym was good for beginners not even for amateurs, not enough equipment

It was a great location, especially in warm weather when you can walk to places (like the nearby beer gardens). Winter might not be best for this location. Everything was fine...not great, but fine. It's a hotel and more designed for the business crowd.

Needs a refresh for sure. Bar downstairs is very expensive, but that is on par with corporate hotels. The experience takes away from the uniqueness and culture of Munich, but it's in a great location and has everything you could want.

It was a beautiful location. Surrounded by greenery with a view of the stream from our bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean.

It seemed like a hotel geared to people with money. Dining was expensive, and the breakfast was 28 euro per person.. and there are not any dining alternatives within walking distance. As a business traveler who can expense everything, this is a lovely hotel. The location was very pretty, but I would probably not go back.
