Hotel am Viktualienmarkt

The location was very good. You have restaurants and easy access to many other places of interest. The breakfast was a plus! We had croissants, ham, cheese, fruits, cereals… a nice variety of options. Staff was really nice and helpful.

There is a construction on the front building and since there is no air conditioner you have to keep the windows open… you could hear and see the workers throwing tools and materials. Very disruptive sounds so early in the morning. I wish the property would have warn us about it, Specially after learning from a staff member it has been going for almost a year.

The hotel was very clean! And the staff was excep6tional. This was our first time abroad and they were very helpful. We were close to most things but if not you have several options for traveling.

The only negative was that it was small for 4 people. That being said I will take cleanliness over size of a room any day.

Great location in Munich, right next to the Viktualienmarkt. The room was very nice, with plenty of room for our family of three. The staff were very helpful and kind, and we felt very comfortable. It was very clean and it was nice having an elevator.

My only complaint was with the breakfast, where there was a young girl having some kind of Zoom videoconference class the entire time we were eating. It was very loud and distracting to hear the entire conversation going on at full volume while we were trying to eat our food. We tried to overlook it and keep on like normal, but eventually we just gave up trying to talk to each other and decided to just eat quickly and leave. It was unfortunate as we would have liked to have tried more of the food.

The people at the hotel were wonderful. Breakfast was a good value and delicious. The bed was a little hard but the room was clean and very comfortable. The location was the best part, we walked everywhere and had easy access to the Bahn system.

The bed was the hardest we slept in during our travels. Needs the soft European topper to make it more comfortable.

The hotel is in a fabulous location just next to Marienplatz but far enough away to avoid any crowds or noise. The room was comfortable but the sofa bed for the children was very hard. Fine for two nights though. The breakfast was great and plenty to set us up for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff, location is very good, in the middle of downtown. Breakfast was also fair and enough. We could check-in at 9:00 which was pretty comfortable. After check out we were able to use the lobby till late afternoon for work.

A bit uncomfortable matress (too soft for me) and a bit pricey rates.

Staff was very helpful. Especially at breakfast. Nice breakfast. Location was convenient. It was raining, and they let us use umbrellas. Location is really good. Close to the Viktulianmrkt and the old town. The subway is 10 min walk.

Excellent breakfast. Location great - very central and easy to get around by foot. Clean rooms and a nice size.

Construction across from the hotel was noisy. Rooms has no ac and were a bit hot. They gave us fans which were helped a little. Opening the windows helped but then we were awakened by the construction. My bathroom was on the small side.

The staff were excellent and professional, hard working and friendly. The facility was very clean and efficient. 4 adults travelling together was a bit of a squeeze in our room but it was just a spot to sleep for us. Great breakfast!

front desk helper and breakfast buffet staff were the BEST! Good location, Christmas markets were easily walkable and we felt safe walking in the neighborhood.
