Close to the main station. The room had almost what I always look for when searching for a hotel, i.e. Electric kettle, Minibar, Slippers, Full-length mirror to speak of. The receptionists I encountered were very helpful and pleasant.

I wanted to see at least a couple of hooks in the room for coats or bulky garments, but I found none. I also wanted to see a decent size hooks in the bathroom for the towels but there was only one small one and far away from the shower. Also, I mentioned this to the receptionist, but the "Occupied" and "Vacant" signage at each room in the Chinese characters were opposite. Therefore, if one could not read English, that would be a trouble waiting to happen. The receptionist told me that someone else had already reported this, and they plan to change it. And this is for each room in this hotel!

Spacious and modern room in a central location at Karlsplatz.

It was too noisy outside and it seems like there was no soundproof. An optional addition for breakfast would be great.

This hotel is in a short walking distance from main train station and heart of the city and for sure has the most central location.

-Outside of the room and in common areas there was very intensive smell of a chemical (something like paint or detergents) that you could barely breathe. - Although the room was in the 5th floor and not directly facing to the main street but you could hear (very well) what is going on in the street. This was not very distracting or annoying but if you are sensitive for street noise, keep this in mind (this is due to the fact that the windows and in general the building is old and do not have modern and isolated doors/windows)

I was deciding between Aloft and Hotel Bayers, but my daughter chose Hotel Bayers because she thought it looked more pleasing. I'm glad we went with her choice. The hotel is conveniently located between Hbf and Stachus stations. A short walk away from the Marienplatz and surrounding attractions. Our reception staff was welcoming and friendly, and very kindly allowed us to check in slightly earlier than the check in time, for which we were very grateful. The room was clean, big, and cosy! Daily restock of water and coffee was a nice bonus. It might be good to mention that you can see through the bathroom blinds from the room, so something to note for friends or relatives sharing. Thanks for making our trip a wonderful one!

As mentioned by previous guests, less than 5min walk from Munich hbf. Also in between 2 subways (hbf and Karlsplatz). V convenient.

1. Bathroom - should have a blind that can be closed instead of a transparent glass that maybe awkward even for families. More user-friendly hooks shd be provided to hang clothes and towels. Shower screen shd come with a door to prevent wetting of floor after bathing. 2. Walls - non-concrete ones separate rooms such that you can hear your neighbors talking/their tv channel even :(. 3. There are hardly any English TV channels and it's always a hide and seek to search for one amongst the hundreds satellite channels, some of which are non-existent. Providing YouTube or Netflix would be a good alternative.

- Central Location: One of the standout features of this hotel is its central location. Within easy walking distance to both the train station and the old town, it provided convenient access to key attractions and transportation hubs. - Clean and Comfortable: The room's cleanliness and comfort were contributed to a pleasant stay. - Good-Sized Room: The room was spacious enough to ensure a comfortable stay, providing ample space to move around without feeling cramped.

Unfortunately, the bathroom presented a design flaw that affected the overall experience. The washbasin, while small, had a high tap, resulting in water spillage onto the floor during use. This design quirk proved to be inconvenient and created a minor but persistent issue.

Proximity to the train station. Several amenities in the room such as hot water pot for coffee and tea, slippers, refrigerator, etc. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. We arrived early and they stored our luggage for us.

Street noise - very noisy all night long. we stayed on the sixth floor. people yelling and screaming from below until 3am. The area itself lends itself to several men standing around. Not sure why. Also , there is not breakfast at the location despite the Booking as that listed breakfast hours, giving the illusion they served breakfast.

Almost everything

The street noise was very disturbing to sleep, because the tram runs through the night and the noise could be heard even on the 6th floor.

Friendly staff - Greeted us every day when we leave/return Central location - Very nice and relaxed walk to Marienplatz Room: Contemporary decor, bigger than usual bathroom; sufficient toiletries

"Occupied" and "Vacant" in German language privacy sign on every front door. The Chinese characters indicated was the opposite of what it meant. If the Chinese character is "vacant", the German word is actually "occupied". The housekeeping was not done on our second day as the cleaner thought that the room was "occupied". However, we will able to get fresh towels and toilet rolls from the reception, so just a little inconvenienced.
