Absolutely everything was far beyond our expectations at this hotel and we will definitely return and recommend it to anyone and everyone who goes to Regensburg! Our room was very spacious and beautiful. The bed and bedding was fantastic -- I hope to find the brand when I get back to the US but I don't know if it is possible. The breakfast was also fantastic. The staff was all so wonderful. The price was also very very reasonable for the quality of what we received.

Absolutely nothing! Except possibly for smoking laws to change in Germany so that smoking is not allowed for outdoor dining as well as indoor like in the US. The smoking takes away from the wonderful pleasure of eating outside. But that is not the hotel's issue!!

Location immediately off the Donau bike trail . Good secure bike storage in center courtyard .Very close to city center with many shops and restaurants . Refrigerator in room . Reception was very friendly and pleasant . Upgraded room #404 was very clean , had A/C and nice modern bathroom . Toiletries in bathroom . Breakfast was good - certainly not exceptional but more than adequate.

Elevator to upper floors only went up to the 3rd floor and our room on 4th thus schlepping bike bags and trailer was a bit uncomfortable after an 85km. ride . Other room that we previewed had one window with a view of the wall about 2meters across the way . Our room had a high window with a view of the rooftops and the street down below .

Excellent service and breakfast with salmon and quality Italian snacks, very clean, cosy and well arranged room, nice bed, bedding and pillows, good fridge, bathroom, lighting (six different lamps in a room) and a/c, free coffee and tea, beautiful old house carefully restored. Great location in the heart of the old city. It is rare to find a hotel with so perfect room planning and design. Also great value for money. Greetings to the owners, they did a very good job.

The only minor detail – no shelf in the shower to put your shampoo etc, everything else is perfect.

Beautiful historic hotel close to everything! Front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful in recommending restaurants, etc. Room was beautifully decorated and generous in size - modern, yet historic with a fully updated bathroom and a/c. Breakfast buffet had a large selection of meats and cheeses in addition to breads, eggs, fruits, etc. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Regensburg!

Elevator only went up to the 3rd floor and our room was on the 4th so we had to haul our heavy (50 lb) suitcases up a flight of wooden stairs. Not great for someone with back issues or health problems.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in the Old Town of Regensburg and was thoroughly satisfied. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed and exudes a charming atmosphere. The cleanliness of the premises was impeccable, making my stay particularly enjoyable. The highlight was the delicious breakfast served every morning. A diverse selection of food and beverages left nothing to be desired and provided a perfect start to the day. All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel and will gladly return. From the moment we entered the door of the Patrizier we were in there hands of excellent and welcoming staff people. The people at the desk were exceptional. Our room was a dream, cool and comfortable in the midst of brutally hot weather (the upgrade which I accepted to a room with a-c was a very good idea. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The shower was fantastic. This seems to be an old hotel modernized. The scuffed wooden stairs have been left alone and were especially charming and atmospheric making me wonder who might have walked on them in the past.

The breakfast room was not well organized. The indoor seating was cramped (making me feel uncomfortable in time of Covid). Outdoor breakfast was better if one not mind the bees (which are not the hotel's fault). There was no lobby to speak of, no place to sit and read as my wife wanted to do one afternoon. The sort of with-it cafe that was run out of the first floor for guests and non guests alike seemed a bit jarringly out of spirit with the old-fashioned peace and quiet of the upper floors. The hotel had a slightly schizophrenic feel for this reason.

very good breakfast, with also some vegan options. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel consists of two houses. One is just recently renovated the other one dates about 14 years I think. We stayed in the older one, which was fine. I didn't know about the two different sections. Maybe check them out before you go. However we were very happy with our choice. The location is very convenient for exploring as so central. We would definitely go back in case we travel to Regensburg again.

Historic building in the old town, very convenient for access on foot to most sights. . Although overlooking a street, my room was still fairly quiet. Room itself was a good size for a single person. Staff friendly and helpful. If I come back to Regensburg I will definitely consider staying here again.

Everything. Fantastic hotel with beautiful room. Staff could not have been more helpful. The morning breakfast was beautiful and delicious. This is a top notch hotel.

The curtains in our room could be a bit wider. Lovely windows looking out to the pretty street but the light came in around the sides in the evening and early morning. Not a big problem but is the only thing I found that could be improved

Loved the hotel. It was so quaint and quintessential Europe. We were right in the heart of the city and could literally walk to everything.

The hotel did not have air-conditioning, which we know is not a common thing in Europe. But staying in the heart of the old town, it was very loud. Windows open was tough because of that and it cools down nicely at night. But we were forced to close the windows. This is not an issue any other time but summer.
